It is so frightening to see how distorted an idea of history people in America actually have. How pitiful. I guess what else can you expect really from a nation whose leader is barely bi-pedal.

(1) there is not a muslim community in Europe; there are pakistanis and indians in the UK, algerians, moroccans and tunisians in France; turks and kurds in Germany, Kossovars in Switzerland and so on who don't feel any sense of a community and who often dislike each other (2) these people have a religious behaviour comparable to their christian neighbours which means they are mostly secular (3) the extremists are a tiny minority (4) the problems of the majority are social and economic and not religious (5) the figures are often inflated : 8/9 per cent in France, 10/11 in Switzerland, 5/6 in Germany.
