1. Bias...
Elliott ,   Tel Aviv   (04.23.06)
Ray, "The American news media is so biased that it took generations for Arabs to be allowed into the exclusive club of the Fourth Estate." Interesting premise and conclusion. Can I now safely call nearly every Arab or Islamic news source "biased" since they no doubt have ZERO (or next to zero) Jewish journalists on the payroll? If I do, will you be consistent and agree with me, or am I just a racist? Choose your words carefully....
2. lets just quote this guy a few times
zalmy Raskin ,   England   (04.23.06)
he says "Most Palestinians and Israelis probably didn’t even notice the event, too busy throwing rocks and lobbing bombs at each other." So who are the ones throwing rocks and lobbing bombs? ahhh he clarifies in the next few lines "But a few of us (note how he writes us) put down our stones and Qassem rockets to go outside as the moon was being eclipsed." At least he's telling the truth in this article, unlike all his other articles, but sadly like all his other articles, its the same raving lunatic.
3. Boring............
Ram ,   London   (04.23.06)
4. Maybe we should all stop praying and being possesive?
Even Carmeli   (04.24.06)
If you think about it, we hate each other for either one, or both, of two reasons: 1). Some or other reigious injunction to kill one another because the other side is either a son of satan or some bad breathed camel lover and/or 2). Land ownership. I have a suggestion 2 suggestions for both sides, us and the palestinians: 1). throw the religious mumbo jumbo out the window and think like a rational objective human being for a second; & 2). Me casa su casa That way we can live together, eat together, hell we can even screw together
5. #4 Even
Jonathan Levi ,   Jerusalem Israel   (04.24.06)
Your plan sucks a drunken camel could give me better suggestions. And if your so intent on screwing all the arab habibi's I've got bad news (at least for you) Arafats dead........... Maybe the Hamas guy who has an orange beard would tickle your fancy......
6. Blame it on the moon. Woof, Woof AAAaaOOOooo
Ron ,   LA   (04.24.06)
Hanania sez: "Can stars provide answers for resolving Israeli-Palestinian dispute? Is there a place where Palestinians and Jews can look to find answers to their unending conflict? " One answer is to look to the stars." Shakespeare sez: "It is the very error of the moon; She comes more nearer earth than she was wont, And makes men mad" (Othello, Act V, Scene II) Ron sez: Lunar beliefs could be dangerous to your health. Time to stop barking at the moon.
7. To Even Carmeli

"mi casa es su casa" OK. You go first and set an example.
8. Time for some Sobering Truth, Ray
KOBI ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.24.06)
Ray, You are always using (im)moral equivalency. You know that, -Israel never intentionally attacks civilians -Arabs(ok mainly muslims) almost exclusively attack civilians and kill women and children, even infants in cold blood -There is no cycle of violence -Muslims attack, israel defends itself(actually most of the time it doesn't which is a shame.shelling empty fields etc..)PERIOD. -In some of the time periods of relative calm check points were unheard of. Why? Because israelis didn't have to worry too much about their security. Jews could go into "Arab" towns("arab towns" because almost all the towns where Arabs are living is Arab occupation of Jewish cities. You see they did us a favor in most cases they didn't even bother to change the name to an Arabic name/ ex. Beit Jala /Gilo or Jilo,Chevron/Hebron, Salem /Shalem next to Shekhem, Silo'an/Shiloach next to old city of Jerusalem. The list goes on) When did these checkpooints show up? after murderous attacks against Jews started up again. See a connection? -Land of Israel belongs to the sons of Israel -If you are an orthodox christian then it is in your bible -Speaking of which the first christians or believers in Jesus as being the christ(messiah) were Jews despite what lies spew forth from the spinmaster Hanan Awshari -Palestine is an academic term meaning Israel derived from the ROMAN term. Most Arabs didn't wish to be called palestinians until mid/late 1960's because it had almost always exclusively been used to describe Jews. At that time the PLO thought to use the term for political aspirations/spin. -The Jewish homeland extended to both sides of the Jordan. For appeasement it was divided in two and given to Arabs and the new Hashemite dynasty. Therefore, there are already two states. You can call the east bank(of Israel) a "Palestinian state" if you wish. The late King Hussein already admitted as much. -So there is an Arab state on 77%-78% of the Jewish homeland ALREADY. -How fair is it to further divide what is left of the Jewish pie and create a third state???? -Especailly when it is a ploy to further weaken it so it can be more easily destroyed Arab Muslims already have 21 states(including an Arab state sitting on 77-78% of Jewish homeland) why can't the Jews live in peace in their small piece of real estate in the Jewish homeland? Forget the three state solution carving up Israel into two Arab states Judenrein(Jew free) while Israel is expected to make do with a sliver of land and have Arabs citizens too. How fair is that? Awaiting your response Ray and hope you had a great Easter.
9. Kobi
Moses ,   Jerusalem   (04.24.06)
What you are saying does not matter, it is not a conflict over a peace of land it is a conflict over this peace of land. Today there are 3+million Palestinians/Arabs/non Jews/ granolas/whatever you want to call them living on your Israel for the past 100+ years. They have a right whether you agree or not to this land, they have a right to determine their future and live like any people on earth. Just like you they have aspirations, dreams and unbending will. You can lorry them to Jordan, or kill them that will not give you peace, you can ignore them and continue to occupy them and you know how that goes. Realistically you have little choice but to accept to splinter your dream and live life realistically. They too must have it the same way. You see like them you were not responsible to what happened to the Jews by the Romans and like you they want to live on this land as they did, do and will continue to do. Go figure
10. Yeah, the conflict ends when you tell your
(04.25.06)
kid it's not okay to strap on the bomb belts for Allah. Tell his teacher to quit praising Allah for all those Jews killed in the last terrorist bombing. Get rid of the music videos that extol the virtues of blowing up the infidel. Try to get along with people for once in your life. Compassion is the number one item that should be taught. It's easier to look at the moon, become a member of the Fourth Estate, and print a bunch of moon God horsemanure, to add to the Allah against the World horsemanure. Quit looking at the friggen stars and tell your people to quit blowing themseves up, to kill others, whom they think are beneath them. Teach them that Allah doesn't give them the right to destroy everyone who isn't an Arab, or Muslim. I look for American writers in Arab newspapers. I don't find many either. I guess we haven't broken into the Fourth Estate. Bummer. George Bush wouldn't of reacted to Afghanistan, or Iraq, without Bin Laden lighting the match. When the fuse burns, and a big explosion blows up in your face, look at your Buddy Bin Laden. He started this little war. But of course we are still looking at the stars to figure all this out. Iran was the Axis of Evil. To get to Iran you need a place to start from. Iraq happens to be the spot. You lose to many people when you do an invasion from the sea. He's cleaning up the nutty leaders. If it's a burden because he's not an Arab doing the Job, I'll order you a KKK headdress. Rascism runs both ways, you seem to have your share. I'm sorry we don't fit into the stratosphere of the fourth estate, that you float in. We look up your nose, as your head is held high, in the pompous fourth estate. It doesn't mean you know much though. All you have to do is teach your kids that murder is wrong. It's that simple Ray, stars and the moon don't have anything to do with it.
11. You plan to write 13 "masterpieces" per year? How many left?
Ron ,   LA   (04.25.06)
"The werewolf, whose frightening transformation occurs 13 times a year from a mortal man into a vicious monster"
12. Moon is always out for "Ron"
(04.25.06)
It's always a full moon for "Ron" and his pack of Hanania-bashers. I like the guy. He certainly offers mor ehope than you or any of your pals who viciously attack him and his columns.
13. correction
sk ,   USA   (04.26.06)
"the moon doesn’t just have a tremendous impact on Earth, tugging on our oceans with its gravity pull to keep our planet from spinning out of control." Huh? That's "gravitational pull," and in no way does the moon's gravity keep earth from "spinning out of control." This what happens when the UN oversees education.

I generally admire people who trying to be funny without any trace of humor. They fail and fall and fool again, but still trying to make a point. After they fail to impress, they are peeved and blame it on hate and “bashing”. But look, don’t take me wrong, everybody entitled to his pet peeve, even Mr. Hanania, so let the postman post and freedom ring… I also agree with you, Hanania generates lots of “ehope” . Therefore I highly recommend to rename his column from “ Ray of Hope” to more appropriate title, agreed by both of us, “ Ray of Ehope” This, as agreed by both of us, will certainly describe Hanania’s contribution to humanity and world peace. Thanks, Hnoooonia, for your valuable ideas. P.S. I personally don’t mind to be his pet peeve, although I can’t help him (only G-d can). 10. Hnoonia sez: "Will the new Arabic language web site also translate the hatred from people like Ron and others, who constantly bash Hanannia on this web site? That would be an eye-opener to the Arabs. " Mohammed Rabinovitch sez: As a good Ron’s friend and twin brother, I am puzzled by your criticism, Hnoonia. After carefully reading his postings, I came to conclusion that you are talking about “Bushing" not” bashing ", Hnoonia. Since "Ron and others" are currently on international tour in Libya and Chad, I take liberty to apologize for this so called "Bushing”. He always apologetic to those who are “ Bushed” by him. Good Luck, Hnoonia Mohammed Rabinovitch , Mecca / Zio Entity (04.25.06) 11. Hi, brother, thank you for thanking Mr.(#4) As you mentioned, I am hope my WWW “Bushing" doesn't make people like Hanania loosing their cool... Mohammed, thank you from our entire band “Rons and others" from sunny Lidya. P.S. Qaddafi asked to send his regards Ron , LA /On tour in Libya (04.26.06) 12. Hey Ron, Libya, not Lidya, misteK again, genius… As I remember Lydia is the name of your future wife, you haven’t met yet. Dream on, brother… P.S. Good Luck with your tour. Mohammed Rabinovitch , Mecca / Zio Entity (04.26.06) Next stop on their worldwide tour is Republic of Chad. “ Rons and others” are going to perform new hit song: “Don’t hate me, don’t bash me brother, stop blame the moon.” 1000s heavily armed police officers will be at the scene to prevent crowds of fans and sexy, fanatical groupies, since “Ron” can not “handle them” all at once and generous enough to share with “others”. © Rayters 2006. Hey SK ... do some research on your own. The moon does play a role in keeping the Earth from spinning out of control. But then, if I said the sun rises in the morning, you would probably argue, no, the settlements are not illegal, right? And what the heck is the werewolf actually talking about? I need to take a class in hate speech, I guess. Also, here's the link to my column in Newsday this week http://www.newsday.com/news/opinion/ny-ophan264716959apr26,0,7521643.story?coll=ny-viewpoints-headlines And, you can actually see and hear me -- I'm sure you're all excited about that ... my TV Show goes online with a first interview with Toujan Faisal, a civil rights activist and former Jordanian legislator critical of Jordan's record on rights ... I'm stillw aiting for Euhd Olmert's office to approve my request for an interview. I wonder if he'll let a Palestinian journalist interview him, since you guys are the only ones who publish views from the "other side," or so the werewolf claims :) Ray Hanania www.hanania.com
18. Update. PART (1) (BefoR pard two)
Mohammed Rabinovitch ,   Mecca / Zio Entity   (04.27.06)
WASHINGTON, DC (Rayters) - Heavily-peeved Anonymous star Hnooooonia broke his silence on Wednesday from his Anonymous hideaway, but he wasn't talking moon or morons. “Ron and others” band, whose “tour of good will” has sparked a blaze of interest in the international media, meanwhile, took time to promote one of their favorite causes: boosting their known hate for Hanania and “ugly hatred the spew about Palestinians”. Talking to reporters in a teleconference with Libya information minister Mr. Brag Bombishere, “Ron”, leader of the band “Rons and others”, said it was time for the world to get behind and support the Global Campaign for Hanania Bashing (GCHB), a new plan aimed at giving 100 million children in poor countries the chance to learn about tolerance and hope. "I'm just thrilled to have this opportunity to help bring this to the forefront of peoples' minds this week... It is a rare occasion that I am really thanking the press," said “Ron” from the famous LA band on goodwill tour in Libya and Chad. “Rons and others” have seen their Libyan hotel besieged by paparazzi photographers eager for pictures of those “hate” filled Hanania “bashers”. Hnooooonia meanwhile was posting to Zionist newspaper on line so called Ynet. The new-old “bashing arena” was talkback of the town in unrelated article, “Foreign Ministry site big hit with Arabs”. Here is the heated exchange with Anonymous Hnooooonia. Please be advised, the following might cause serious laughing, smiles and other” hateful expressions of bias”. http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3243838,00.html 3. The most important thing is talkback part. Shows you what democracy is all about. Also DON'T ERAZE their hate massages ( better show them in another section called " hate massages" ) to show, that we don't sensor like they are, that we don't scared of criticism. Generally this is an excellent investment. Carry on! Ron , LA (04.25.06) 4. Will people like Ron be writing? Will the new Arabic language web site also translate the hatred from people like Ron and others, who constantly bash Hanannia on this web site? That would be an eye-opener to the Arabs. (04.25.06)
19. Scientific evaluation of Hanania “thesis”
Ron ,   LA   (04.27.06)
Scientific evaluation of Hanania “thesis” There is not enough “spin energy” or angular momentum in the Hanania’s “Earth - Moon thesis” to make this argument possible. Earth to Hanania… The mass of the impacting body of Ray’s “science”, velocity, and trajectory of his “ideas” have to be just right for ET or alien. More than that, the source of this UFO-inspires exotic body of work can win you the first Afghani- Taliban Nobel. Somehow from somewhere for whatever reason, unknown to me, Hanania managed to impact us, morons in an ignorant but imprecisely defined way. Without leaving any geochemical trace of logic, Hanania’s alien “model”, however can not exist on either the Mars or the Moon. Ray convinced himself that his “exotic writings” are “intelligible” and the most natural thing in the world. Hanania adds thesis to thesis, nonsense to nonsense, without a moment's heed to the alarmed warnings offered by the “ignorant” mob. Those are universally astonished at his brilliance. They are called “haters”, “not clever”, their questions are “stupid” , they ask “dumb questions”, they are “ Rons”, “Rons and others”, far below, on this stupid Earth, they do not comprehend his “learned” thesis. Nor he is ever relenting so much as to insert a popular or common sense, G-d forbid, nor react to “haters” displeasure at the dullness of his hilarious nonsense. Ron Wiseman is a self taught amateur PhD in Interplanetary Earth and Martian Studies (IEMS) Currently he is Los Angeles co-director of the strategic affairs unit at IEMS, a joint Earth-Martian organization.

"Hey SK ... do some research on your own. The moon does play a role in keeping the Earth from spinning out of control." Nonsense, Ray. If anything, the moon's relatively tiny mass would slightly perturb the already uneven elliptical orbit of the Earth. However, in fairness, I haven't seen an astrophysics textbook in over 25 years. Since you have made what is self-evidently an unlikely claim (full moon that night?), please provide a peer-reviewed citation. I will be happy to review it & report back. sk
