2. Israel WON 1967 war!
keren ,   sao paulo   (04.30.06)
It should not only NOT give back West Bank, but rather strengten its possession in there, expelling arabs. Same for Gaza! Israel should deeply regreat for had renouced Sinai(for nothing!!). Big mistake! It could be now a blooming area in Israel's hands, and one more mean for its security. Israel must stop ceding on this ininterrupt pression for retraiting and ,instead ,start re-conquering what was lost to people that don''t deserve such retreatments! After all, arabs and the world ONLY respect strenght, never weakness, never!!!

4. Saudi plan rocks !!!
Jeff ,   Australia   (04.30.06)
It is the best solution so far, which has been agreed by all arab parties at the OIC.

I don't know about you but it's pretty difficult to expell 2 million arabs to anywhere(Jordan I suppose?) and it will result in a major international diplomatic backlash hurting Israel's economy(boycotts). Sinaï was given back for peace with Egypt, though I agree that was not a very high reward. Brazil would not pursue such a course as you recommend, nor will Israel. Because it's not feasable and the price is higher than the reward.
6. # 1 but lose the Intifadas !

7. Plan already rejected
Farouk ,   Jerusalem   (04.30.06)
While the plan was approved by Arab League and thus becomes binding on all Arab states, it was rejected by Israel immediately after it was made public by the Saudi King. The US administration welcomed it but stopped short of backing the plan in favor of the road map. The only thing interesting is that Hamas accepts this when it rejected it some 4 years ago. I as a Palestinian would like to see Hamas adopt it and not mull it, not as a positioning tactic with Israel.
8. It's not the 1st time Hamas talks abt a state in the 67
Muhammad-Ali ,   Montreal   (04.30.06)
territories
9. And wat abt the prisonners???
Muhammad-Ali ,   Montreal   (04.30.06)
Israel should release them.
10. 1967 lines not borders
John ,   Jerusalem   (04.30.06)
The "1967 border" never was a border!!! This was the cease fire lines after the 1948 war when all the surrounding Arab nations tried to completely destroy Israel. The 1949 lines represent the extent to which the Arabs succeeded in killing Jews and illegally capturing land. After the cease fire, the responsibility for establishing borders was to be done by the warring states through peace negotiations. Those negotiations never came about, only more wars. The 1967 lines were never borders, and Israel should stop apoligizing for winning multiple wars of self-defence.
11. Hamas and the Saudi Plan
nehad ismail ,   camberley, england   (05.01.06)
Whether Hamas accepts or not, the Saudi Plan is the best initiative on the table since the Oslo accord. It is a comprehensive plan and calls for normal relations between Israel and all the Arab countries, with full and final end to the conflict. The Road Map is dead, in fact it was aborted before birth by Ariel Sharon with his 14 reservations. The Saudi Plan is good for everyone.
