1. Leave them out
cv ,   Jerusalem   (04.30.06)
We don't need Shas or UTJ. Never did. Never will. They'll just get what they want, and then bolt. Let 'em sit on the outside again. I'll bet they change their tune quick. They're just a bunch of parasites anyway.
2. Anyone in the Gov't of hatesJews and their values.
Ben Temalion ,   Shiloh, MO USA   (04.30.06)
You are complicit if you allow anti-Jews assume power to cede that which not only is your defense but belongsto all Jews past present and future. How many thousands have to die and live with injuries worse than death for you not to make T'shuva for not just havdalah (restraint), merciful aginst the cruel but commit pogroms against the bestof Jews. To enablesuch anti-Jews makes you thesame whether you are in the gov't or not when the call for Yehuden raust is made.
3. # 1 is completely correct
Avi ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.30.06)
4. #1 is a self hating jew
David   (04.30.06)
Isn't it enough that the entire world despises us. Do we have to hate each other as well. I agree that the religious sect is a minor financial burden on the economy, but they are also jews and israeli's. Don't forget that a large majority of the six million were also ultra-orthodox. Hitler didn't discern, and i'm sure Iran doesn't either.
5. Hamas loves you No1 and No3
S Judah ,   London   (04.30.06)
Yes leave Shas out, they wear funny hats, have dark skin, have beards, believe in the torah, they are Sephardi. They are Jewish. How much lower can you get? Instead lets have the pork eaters, the desecraters of shabbath, the non believers to run the Jewish State, makes sense. In fact why call it Israel, lets call it Zambia and all move to Africa. Hamas loves you No1 and No3
6. How about Baptists? Methodists? Zen?
Yoel Ariel ,   US   (04.30.06)
The government would be MUCH more attractive if they simply had a bussload of ladies of Easy Virtue shipped in. Point#1: Cost less Point#2: Dress better Point#3: Bathe more frequently Point#4: Have a better sense of humor Point#5: Be more honorable. Point#6: Have greater track record of support of israel. Point#7: SHAS creep me out. Whenever I read about these guys, I say to meself, "Why could'nt they be something other than Jewish?"
7. We are the majority
cv ,   Jerusalem   (04.30.06)
I wish you people that don't live here would start financially supporting Shas and UTJ because those of us that work, pay taxes, serve in the army, have our CHILDREN serve in the army, are sick and tired of it. They refuse to work, they refuse to serve in the army, they refuse to teach secular subjects so their students MIGHT be able to find a job, but they're very quick to send OUR kids into the army to get killed defending their useless and ridiculous agenda. They insist on more and more for THEIR educational system, while OUR kids can't get decent subsidies for college and high school educations. They feel that THEY have the right to decide who is and who isn't a Jew, while on their high horse most of their elected officials are being indicted for crimes of bribery, fraud, and stealing. They only obey the word of a "rabbi" who has been quoted as comparing women to farm animals, and guaranteeing a place in heaven for a vote! We've taken back OUR country from those who have held it hostage for too long. And we have. The last election proved it. It's our mandate. It's our referendum. And those of you who don't like it....get over it. The real Israelis are back and we're going to have defensable borders, and we're going to get rid of the leeches. Olmert won. Yay! Get used to it. Self hating Jew? Are you kidding? I'm the BEST kind of Jew. I moved to Israel. I LIVE in Israel! Which is more than I can say for most of you that post here.
8. resp:#1
David   (04.30.06)
I live here too #1. And I am as secular as it gets. Don't preach to me about the how religious jews have destroyed our economy. The whole financial package is a mere 2-3 hundred million-which is miniscule in budget terms. Also, we should be happy that they don't work-can you imagine the unemployment figures if another 50,000 were on the dole. And the army argument is just silly since Zahal has already decided to trim the amount of troops we have-there is a surplus of infantry. The religious jews give our country a distinct and wonderful flavor. Our country is blessed with people who honor their religion and keep the jewish faith alive for all of us. I for one am glad that religious jews live here and remind us what and who the jewish people really are-JEWS and not neo-europeans. Stop the hate and save it for our real enemies(arabs) who are trying to destroy us.
9. #1 You will lead us to a deppression and civil war!!!!!!
(04.30.06)
By removing homes, compensation, removing military bases, building new homes, new schools, new shuels, new military bases, unemployment costs. This costs many billions of dollars, you Kadima and others that support the removal of Jews will lead us to bankruptcy and a depression.
10. More rubbish
David ,   Yerushalayim   (04.30.06)
To David #4: Calling for leaving the ultra-Orthodox political parties out of govt because of their economic policies doesn't make one a self-hating Jew. And a majority of the 6million were not ultra-Orthodox. That's absolute rubbish, as if it matters. And to #5: It's you putting these racist stereotypes in print, not cv. Who's the racist? It's looking more like you than cv, who said nothing like the filth you have written. You should be ashamed. How many years have you spent in the army fighting Hamas? It's people like you who make others anti-religious. And one other thing: Calling other Jews self-haters is the last refuge of a scoundrel.
11. #2 the wannabe Jew
David ,   Yerushalayim   (04.30.06)
Hey buddy, I don't know what crack you're smoking, but save it for your cult compound in Wacko, MO before the Feds take you down.
