1. rioting thugs
alan ash ,   nyc   (05.01.06)
they are a disgrace and do nothing for society. they complain and act as children . they have no right to do anything . our police should not even clean it up . let them live in their own filth. when they want to be productive members of society we will respect them . otherwise they should live like the leaches they are .
2. Please, Please, Please
yakov shani ,   afula   (05.01.06)
someone arrest these disgusting pieces of humanity and put them once and for all behind bars. They are not Jews, they are animals, they are taref, they are goyim, they are as far as I am concerned tumah and should be treated as such. Please do it someone.
3. Ynet, How the hell do you know they are Torah observant?
(05.02.06)
Because they where the Ashkenazi garb or something. If they were "Ultra Orthodox" they would, follow the commandments of respecting another Jew. You just fuel the fire for anti-religious "jws"
4. Expell them to Iran
Francois ,   Paris   (05.02.06)
5. They are not insulting fallen soldiers!
bill handel ,   brooklyn, usa   (05.02.06)
I'm certain that you are making a mistake. The are Neteurai Karta, who are demostrating aginst Independence Day. Please do not incite hatred between the Jewish people.
6. They hate Israel? Send them back to Poland and Lithuania
Kate ,   London   (05.02.06)
7. fanatics
David ,   canada   (05.02.06)
I do not believe these freaks should have the right to live in Israel, as they represent shame and are completely useless to the Israeli society. I am allergic to these losers. They are cursed and have been cursed from the beginning of Judaism.
8. dina di malkhuta dina
tom ,   canada   (05.02.06)
by what right do these "naturei karta" riot and not get arrested? it is a disgrace that they should enjoy such "diplomatic immunity", which is contrary to all the teachings of the torah, where even a gentile government's laws are to be obeyed (so long as they do not force us into apostasy, etc.), and we are commanded that all are equal before the law. shame on the rioters - and shame on the police who don't enforce the law equally.
9. File a lawsuit against Ynet & Efrat Weiss
sk ,   USA   (05.02.06)
YET AGAIN Ynet & Weiss spin a story about the anti-Jewish and anti-Israeli Neturei Karta (funded by Arabs) as a story about the ultra-Orthodox. And then, at the end, Weiss takes a shot at Orange Israel because ... someone raised a black flag, which is nonviolent political expression. The "Palestinians" constantly lie about Israel and Jews; Ynet and Efrat Weiss do the same regarding the ultra-Orthodox and Orange Israel. It is disgraceful, and if Israel were a real democracy, it would be considered libel.
10. The Moral Mandate
Steve ,   USA   (05.02.06)
B"H I do not see Israel as having the moral mandate of the Third Temple, regular services, or even full sovereignty on territory under its military control. Therefore, I do not recognize the current State of Israel as the State of the Jews, either. I am waiting for the Messianic era, where the temple service is reinagurated as a sign of the moral sovereignty to lead the Jews after Amalek's weakening, under G-d's direct authority, and not with G-d's face hidden. Otherwise, I am not ready for redemption at this time. I am still in a sad state of affairs. We Jews have a country to come to if abandonned by the nations of the world, or if we are inspired to make allegiance to the Israeli Government instead of G-d directly. These are the conditions, and I do not see these as the conditions of a land directly under G-d's sovereignty in a visible way. It is the hand that drives events that is visible only when being there. I recognize the State of Israel only as a civil and military administration of the land and its inhabitants, like the other nations on this world, except that it has a majority Jewish population under its rule and it freely encourages immigration of Jews and defends many Jewish lives. I do not object to the existance of Israel as a State, and I am grateful for their policies to allow Jews to visit and pray, but there are issues that I cannot reconcile; and that is why I am a Jewish United States Citizen and not an Israeli. I do not accept Israeli allowances either because I am under a different sovereignty than Israel. Further I am very sad over the death of any Jews, and offer condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers. But I admit firmly that I am not Israeli, and I have no apologies for that given the overall system in place presently.
12. Please don't generalize
Avi Klein ,   Toronto, Canada   (05.02.06)
These people rioting are a minority of a minority (only a few dozen). They are not Charedim but Neturei Karta fanatics. A real Charedi would never do such a thing as it is against Torah law.
13. As they hate Israel intensely-why do they live in Israel???
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (05.02.06)
14. NK and their ilk are embarrassments to the Jewish people
Jenny ,   NYC   (05.02.06)
15. LEV RA, NO CHESED: EREV RAV!!!!
HaDaR ,   Israel   (05.02.06)
LEV RA, NO CHESED: EREV RAV!!!!
16. Get the facts straight
yerushalmi ,   jerusalem   (05.02.06)
first, nature karta number only few hundret in Israel, and few hudnret more in US and Europe. They are a tiny minority. Judging all of haredim by nature karta is like judging all of hilonim by russian neo nazis living in israel. Second, I never trust these news, police and shabak were caught red handed in using agent provocateurs provoking violence on bar ilan street. It is not beyond them, as we have learned again and again, in cases of avishai raviv, kalahani brothers, etc. It seems that tikshoret had its fill with inciting against kipot srugot (for now) and are turning their attention to haredim. They will go back to kipot srugot in few months, then back to haredim, and so on, until the civil war starts (question is when and not if).
17. NK Imunity - chareidim must spit them out
Shlomo ,   UK   (05.02.06)
NK can do what ever they want and nothing happens to them - is it because the ultra-orthodox community refuses to spit them out - the jewish chronicle has an article this week saying that - the adath funneled money to netureai karta - until the chareidim disown these mutants - they need to answer for them
18. Neturei Karta retards
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (05.02.06)
What makes these freaks any worse than the "Peace Not" retards who incite Arabs to attack Jews, and disrupt construction of the security fence?
19. Bill, there's no mistake
Ron ,   Mtl   (05.02.06)
These Anti-state jews regularly participate with Palestinians, singing hand in hand and waving placards (they want us dead by the way, and we are brothers of pigs and dogs according to them) campaigning against the Jewish majority who wishes to celebrate the modern Israeli State. No one is above the law, and law is determined by the state, not neteurei carta
20. You are right number 4
Pete ,   Chicago, USA   (05.02.06)
i am what you would call ultra orthodox and that is the best idea, send them to Iran, please.
21. Religion vs State
Dave ,   San Diego, CA   (05.02.06)
Time to make Israel a secular state for Jews. Between these traitors and the Club Maoz fanatics there is no room for "normal" Jews.
22. orthodox ?
Ezra ,   Canada   (05.02.06)
Shame on you YNet for once again inciting secular Jews against religious Jews. A few stupid Neturei Karta make their usual fus and your misleading title does blame the two millions of religious Jews.
23. Appeal
yakov shani ,   afula   (05.02.06)
to someone in the government or in the legislation, please table a draft law outlawing these freaks and making deportation mandatory in sentencing and please make sure the draft goes through super fast.
24. Traitors
Micha ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (05.02.06)
These bastards are not Ultra-Orthodox, not Orthodox, not religious, and, in my eyes, not even Jewish. Arrest them and lock them up as traitors.
25. great idea
meni ,   beersheva   (05.02.06)
send them to iran and they can live with their anti zionist brothers
26. to #12
Nadav ,   Misgav   (05.02.06)
Avi, you asked not to generalize, but where are the orhtodox rabbis comming this? Where is the moderate part in their society that says "hey, we all one nation?" I do not see this, do you?
27. Orthodox thugs
Liz ,   The real Israel   (05.02.06)
Number 3 asks how Ynet knows how they were "Torah observant" -- I advise him/her to get on a plane to Israel, during the summer, and pop down to Meah Shearim any evening during the month of July/August -- "ben hazmanim" as it is called, and s/he can see for her/himself how the Haredim behave on a hot summer evening when they are bored............. it is quite an education.
28. Organized Crime Remedy
Joel Silber ,   NY   (05.02.06)
Arrest the suspects, prosecute them, and if they are found guilty, put them in jail.
29. yerushalmi - shouldn't you be against evil internet?!?!?!
P.R ,   haifa   (05.02.06)
30. the state of Israel gives them money for this!
