I cannot think of a parliament on earth (except for Saddam Hussein's cabinet) where parliamentarians and ministers were put on trial for their opinions. Let's give Ms Kutnicki an Uzzi and see if she will just march into the Knesset and do what she deems necessary. For all the semi-liberal paraphrasing of these calls for Nuremberg trials for free (but non-Jewish) citizens of Israel who serve in the parliament, the people expressing these wishes are nothing short of murderous totalitarian thugs without the intelligence to see that every argument has two sides. If they were around when the Talmud was being written then 50% of the Rabbis with dissenting opinions would have been put on trial or executed. The speciousness of the debate is apalling and it can only horrify people with a sense of justice to read what Ms Kutnicki and other living abortions are calling for.

The latest I hear, the conversion from Islam to another religion is still punishable by death ( it took an international pressure to spring this one poor Christian in Afghanistan, others are not so lucky); the Jews, except for (uncle) Tom Friedman are still not allowed in Saudi Arabia; The Bibles are still banned and considered criminal in Saudi Arabia and are very unwelcome in any other Muslim country, the churches and Christians are still being attacked in every Muslim country, including "moderate" Egypt and Turkey; Christians are still disappearing fast from Lebanon and the PA controlled area and you, like a complete brain-washed idiot, are stuck on condemning Israel for some totally spurious and invented ills? Nuremberg trials had very little to do with the Holocaust. Neither the US nor the UK or the Soviet Union cared one bit about what happened to the Jews. In Nuremberg the punishment was metered out to some of German leaders for starting a second global war within less than 30 years, costing trillions of Dollars and tens of million in human lives; wrecking European economy; the war that German waged ignoring every single clause of the Geneva Convention. The Arab terrorists of Hamas, PLO, or whatever name they call themselves today, who deliberately attack Israeli civilians are acting exactly like the Nazis of yesteryear and anybody in Israel who collaborates with them, Jewish, Arab or Atheist, is guilty of those crimes as well. You accuse Adina and Lieberman of limiting freedom of speech, but here not the free speech is at issue but giving support to an enemy at the time of war- supporting the very people who put the rat poison and screws and bolts to maximize the death and injury of the Israeli men, women and children. What good can you say of the people who put rat poison in bombs to murder Israeli Jews to justify them is beyond me, but I am certain that you and your kind will never tire of whitewashing them. If those MK want to address their concerns in the Knesset, they are free to do so. If they want to make statements they’re free to do so, but they will be judged in the court of public opinion for it, like everybody else. They are not free, however, to meet with the Hamas, Syria, Hezbollah representatives, all of whom are at war with Israel and make anti-Israeli statement anymore than German Americans in the US Congress could support Nazi Germany in 1942. You keep making accusation against the Right, yet the only names you can bring up (no, Adina didn’t shoot up anything) are Stalin and Beria – two Communists and Georgians by birth, in case you think them to be Jews. Where do you get the idea that 50% of Talmudic scholars would be put to death by the other half, I have no idea, and except I suspect that you are a Muslim and are projecting what is usually being done in your culture and religion to dissenters or apostates. Lieberman accuses the Arab-Israeli MK of consorting with the enemy at the time of war and supporting every claim those enemies make; of going abroad, without authorization and meeting with the enemy and of openly and demonstratively commemorating the creation of the State of Israel as their and Arab Israeli disaster. His statement may be theatrical but Lieberman nonetheless has real basis for those accusations – those individuals very public statements in Arabic, and thus should be diligently investigated. Democracy is not a suicide pact and does not mean enabling the enemy to destroy you.

To Rustum # 33 - Your arguments are illogical and specious. The fact that the Arab MK's were democratically elected in no way shields them from charges of treason. Doesn't the fact that these Arab MK's lock arms and hearts with Israel's mortal enemies, then deem these MK's as enemies of the State? Is there no such thing as national loyalty in your lexicon? This is not an issue of Rabbis differing over the Talmud and coming up with dozens of explanations. These Rabbis were not supporting the genocidal killers of their people. They were doing what centuries of Talmudists have been doing - they debate! However, these Arab MK's mostly serve as fifth column enemies, and they are not particularly interested in regular constituency problems, such as garbage collection etc. Apparently either you are blind in your heart or willfully ignorant. These MK's have stated in many instances (in both words and deeds)their support for Iran ! Hizbullah, Arafat, Hamas et al. What more treachery do these MK's have to do for you to consider treating them as traitors and enemies of the State?
