1. Disloyal legislators
Jeff ,   Washington, DC   (05.16.06)
What better proof could there be of the disloyalty of these MKs? Israel should prevent from holding office any citizen who espouses obvious anti-Israel hatred. Office-holders like them clearly are trying to dismantle the Jewish state from within, while their brothers in Hamas try to destroy it from the outside.
2. Transfer them.

3. WHERE IS THE Lag B'omer COVERAGE?!
(05.16.06)
4. They obviously don't know the meaning...
RF ,   Israel   (05.16.06)
of the word "Holocaust".
5. One more demonstration of why
Jew   (05.16.06)
they must go. 1,500 Arabs who we gave citizenship to who have the gall to mourn the creation of the state and to make direct comparisons to the Holocaust (and even belittle it). Yes it's to be expected, but it should not be tolerated -- lousy bunch of ingrates. They enjoy a much higher standard of living in Israel than they would in any of their 22 Arabs states. Yet it was never about that. They don't want a Jewish state to exist. period. They must go. 1500 open traitors and they arrest 2 Jews for interrogation. Mad people we are!
6. Where Are The Yassamnicks?
Adina kutnicki ,   US   (05.16.06)
I am very annoyed and disappointed at the regime for the disparity in the Israeli security forces at Arab 'events' and at Jewish ones. Why are these demonstrators against Israel's rebirth ! (with seditious Arab MK's in attendance) not hemmed in via barbed wire, just like the good Jews were during the protests against expulsion over the summer? I want to know exactly how many security forces were surrounding this 'event'? How many Yassamnicks were amassed in a threatening manner? How many police on horses were storming the 'demonstration'? Remember. One cannot be selectively 'democratic'.
7. Bishara needs to go back to Syria!
Palestiniansareamyth ,   USA   (05.16.06)
Israel belongs to the Jews!
8. ISRAEL BELONGS TO THE JEWS!
Palestiniansareamyth ,   USA   (05.16.06)
9. bunch of crybabies
Don ,   USA   (05.16.06)
the arabs are a bunch of whiners the only answer is to forcibly convert them all to christianity
10. Notice It's Mostly Older Arabs
Raz ,   Yisroel   (05.16.06)
Younger Arab-Israelis identify overwhlemingly with Israel, even if they have Palestinian roots. They take appreciation in Israel's democracy, freedom of speech, western standard of living, women's rights, and lack of corruption. As soon as the old generation of 1950s dies out, these Israeli-Arabs will be a great asset to the state of Israel. I know that's an optimistic view, but I hope I'm right.
11. Weird
J K ,   NYC, USA   (05.16.06)
I dont know about the rest of you, but having citizens of the country observing a day lamenting the founding of the country they are citizens of seems really weird. If its that much of a disaster, go. They are still alive and thriving. The whole idea seems very subversive. Do the British have a day lamenting the loss of the colonies?
12. ARABS LEFT VOLUNTARILY at URGING of ARAB Leaders
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (05.16.06)
Arabs left voluntarily! Fully documented in book, "From Time Immemorial" by Joan Peters: In 1948, Arabs were told to leave by Arab leaders while the invading Arab armies would "purge the land of Jews." The Jewish Haifa Workers' Council issued an appeal to the Arab residents of Haifa: "For years we have lived together in our city, Haifa...Do not fear: Do not destroy your homes with your own hands...do not bring upon yourself tragedy by unnecessary evacuation and self-imposed burdens...But in this city, yours and ours, Haifa, the gates are open for work, for life and for peace for you and your families..." Jews have ALWAYS shown mercy and kindness to others. The mercy and kindness of Jews is forever recorded in books in heaven.
13. The JEW-HATE that Ignores JUSTICE for JEWISH Refugees
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (05.16.06)
Human Rights Destroyers seek to deny Jews the right to live in their Biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria because they are Jews and not Muslims. Around 1948, Arabs violently ethnically cleansed about one million Jews from Arab countries. Arab governments seized the land, homes, bank accounts, businesses and assets of the Jews. Most Jewish refugees fled to Israel. The injustice and cruelty of Arab Muslim countries to Jews and the obligation of Arabs to compensate the Jewish refugees and their descendants in land and finances, must never be forgotten, but discussed constantly in homes, schools, social activities, cultural events and synagogues.
14. What a racist comment..6 million die vs creation of Israel
David ,   Boston, USA   (05.16.06)
Considering there already is a Palestinian Arab State that is 78% of historic Palestine and Israel Arabs get equal rights in Israel. yes they do get equal rights under the law. Its pathetic to compare the re-creation of Israel to the Holocaust. Palestinians had a change for a second state and said no. Now Its time to say no to Racist Arab MKs.
15. HAPPY NAKBA DAY!!!
KEN YAR-BOO ,   ODE PA'AM   (05.16.06)
16. Question to the "Israeli-Arabs"
Arie   (05.16.06)
There is a pali entity being developed in Gaza and parts of the West Bank. If you are so unhappy, perhaps you should sell to a TRUE Israeli, take the money and start a successful life with hamass.
17. nakba, shnakba
a patriot ,   land of israel   (05.16.06)
it's all one big b.s-- the arabs are simply too ignorant to ever admit their own faults and shortcomings... but with a clown like olmert at the helm , no wonder it's all looking more and more like a circus!
18. Congratulations-longtime coming
(05.16.06)
jews are known for thinking they have the monopoly on sufferring- though we have all sufferred- and worse then the jew- so GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
19. Shame on the arabs
Preston ,   USA   (05.16.06)
Let me understand this. The arabs believe that their 1948-49 failure to murder every Jew in Israel during the war that they started is the same as the Holocaust. Sorry dudes. Jews lost the first round, but kicked butt in the second and later rounds. The holocaust involving the arabs is their shame trying to copy the travails of the Jewish people: Diaspora, the Shoah, and of course the "never forget" slogan. Get original and get out of Israel, you losers. It is Jewish alnd you Pals are pathetic frauds.
20. Expell the other 10%
jason Asman ,   Boston   (05.16.06)
21. Cry babies
Yoav Ben Zakai ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (05.16.06)
whine whine whine whine whine whine...You guyz are like a broken record. If Palestinians had gone through a fraction of what Armenians, Assyrians, Jews or Sudanese for example have been through they wouldn't even exist. So enough with the "nakba=holocaust" analogies. Its a desperate and pathetic attempt to get attention, and makes you look very stupid and ignorant
22. NO COMPARISON TO REAL HOLOCAUST
Nancy ,   Crossville   (05.16.06)
NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF JEALOUS WANNABES
23. May you have many, many more
Ariel ,   Judean Hills   (05.16.06)
24. citizenship
gil ,   ashkelon   (05.16.06)
Are these arabs still Israelis citizens? Are our leftists still israeli citizens while siding by arabs claims? Are we giving up our 2000 years old dream?
25. Good Azmi, if you keep up like that Nakba 2 will come soon.
(05.16.06)
26. Peace
Gene ,   Israel   (05.16.06)
I would be very happy on a day that we can acheive peace. However I don't think that day is close. PA society is so full of hate for Israel, that several generations are needed to calm things down. And things ain't calming down, but the opposite - one just have to look on "Hamas" or "Islamic Jihad" support rallies, and listen to everyday propaganda about "Zionist pigs and monkeys". As an Israeli I can tell you that Israelis do not hate Palestinians as much as they hate us. Palestinians can enter Israel without fear that they will be torn to shreads, but this is exactly what will happen to an Israeli who will enter the PA by mistake. If you want peace, stop your hatred !
27. May they never experience a REAL Holocaust
howard ,   pacific coast, usa   (05.16.06)
The Palestinians never experienced the Holocaust. They imagine that they know what it was, but they have never had their entire families -- men, women, children, the elderly, the young and strong -- rounded up, inspected in the town square, imprisoned in death camps, enslaved for a few months and finally gassed to death with no possibility of reprieve. They have never faced an enemy who did such things simply because a grandmother was Jewish (or Palestinian). They have never been one of thousands forced at gunpoint to dig their own graves. They have never had entire villages -- men, women, kids -- locked in a building and cold-bloodedly burned to death. They have never faced an enemy who massacred an entire village the first time someone there threw a rock at a soldier. They have never faced an enemy who made lampshades and fertilizer out of their remains. They have never faced an enemy whose very ideology was based on wiping their descendants from the face of the earth. If Iran succeeded in its nuclear ambitions, cheered on by the PA, and actually tried to hit Israel with nukes, then Palestinians would find out a little bit about what a Holocaust is, for a few seconds anyway. Of course, both Jews and Arabs would die, and we'd all be one sad, dead family. I say this in all earnestness -- may the Palestinians never, ever know the horror that they so casually dismiss.
28. Israel Independence Day/Nakba
malca ,   israel   (05.16.06)
I think it is to Israel's sorrow that the most joyous day in Jewish history is the most sorrowful day in the Palestinian's most recent history. We cannot deny our joy, not at conquering the Arabs, but at earning statehood against, truly all the odds. We are the last remants of the Jewish people and it is our honor to be able to continue our line, for whatever purpose. It is the only legacy we can give back to those who died so cruelly in the Holocaust. In this vein, I would think that it is up to the Palestinians to be strong and to recognize this and to overcome their bitterness and disappointment and also make more sincere efforts to make peace, as this is the only way we will ever have peace.
29. Revoke their citizenship, deport them to "palestine"
Bunnie Meyer ,   Santa Monica, CA   (05.16.06)
30. Happy Nakba Day
Dudu ,   Kfar Sava   (05.16.06)
