To claim that the IDF is the most moral military in world sounds like the US commanders of the Abu Ghareb prison saying that their prison tactics are the most humane in the world. This is ludicrous. Until Israeli leaders remember Jewish humaneness of the likes of Martin Buber, comparisons with Apartheid-era leaders in South Africa will be right on the mark.

So far, the Palestinians have refused any sort of cooperation with Israel, in the investigation of this bombing. Why? Why hide the location of the blast? Why wasn't there any crater in the photograph of the blast? Why were all the debris from the site removed and hid very quickly? Perhaps we could use some lessons in morality from our neighbour to the east, king Abduallah could teach us about the legacy of king Hussein and how he treated the Palestinians, in half a month of moral behaviour he destroyed all of the Palestinian terrorists and since then they dont dare to lift their head, fearing it may be chopped. And on those who claim that "IDF is an army of murderers", you had better take a look at other armies (no, i'm not talking about the Swiss army or the luxemburgian royal cavalry, but an army actually engaged with terrorists). USA, here is a nice example, while the US army was hunting for Saddam they were tipped off about his location in a neighbourhood in Tikrit, within 30 minutes the entier neighbourhood was deleted by 5 tons of bombs, Saddam was nowhere near, a few hundred civilians were, however. Russia, well, not much to say, the Russian method of "Bomb 300m advance 300m repeat until reaches sea" works alright... Indonesia, the largest Muslim country, 250,000 dead Timorians (civilians) since the last conflict. Syria, 20,000 killed in the Hama uprising (chemical and biological weapons used). Now, lets see the IDF. Operation defensive shield, soldiers were sacrifised in order to prevent Arab casualties, we could of done like any other army and surround the city then give everyone a week to leave and bomb it to hell, but we didnt. 59.6% of the Palestinian casualties of the last intifada were terrorists or gunmen (you will never find a similiar ratio in any other place), want me to continue? before you dare criticize. The Brits nor the Yanks nor the Frogs, nor any "Western" military has ever been as careful as tzahal is in its dealings with terrorism, and often pays the price (but none of you will ever credit them for that). And when things go wrong, tzahal has grave remorse, (whether the victims' parents were rabid terrorists and/or supporters themselves or not) and does comprehensive inquiries in which soldiers and officers are required to pay the price for their mistakes, even though sometimes the alternative might have been at the risk of life. So hold restrain yourselves when you have an urge to blame, when you yourselves are a bunch of hypocrytic A_ _holes!

You should be talking. The IDF puts up with so much crap from the Arabs that it's astounding. Arabs should have been deported back to their homeland a long time ago.

Those so called "ethics" apply only to Israel's Jewish citizens, and not to the Palestinian population. The behavior of the Israeli army is more like SS troops in that regard.. My praises to those who refuse to serve in this so-called "ethical" army. They are truly the only ones with ethics.and any morality.

Israel and Jews, in general, should refrain from using the qualifier "the most" before any and all qualities it or they may believe it or they may possess. Such empty bombast does nothing to impress or influence world opinion about it or them, although it apparently makes it or them feel better about it or themselves. A comfort blanket would probably achieve the same result, and, although childish, it wouldn't seem as foolish.

There were civilians in the house where Zarqawi was hiding; you don't hear the U.S. apologizing for their deaths!! We are TOO concerned with civilian casualties and this is impeding our war effort. I'd like to know where suddenly the cameras came from on the beach. I believe it was some kind of setup done in order to make us look bad.

You show so little humanity that the deaths of innocent people on the beach does not even elicit your sympathy. As for "the IDF deporting the Arabs back to their homeland" - are you suggesting that the IDF goes to all the refugee camps in the surrounding countries in order to deport the inhabitants back to "their homeland" (as you put it) which of course is historic Palestine. What a noble effort you are calling for.

I was responding to comment #1 and was not referring to the Gaza victims. Of course I feel badly for them who wouldn't? What I don't feel badly for is the Arab terrorists who cause murder and mayhem and then act morally superior to Israel when something like this happens. At this point it's not even clear Israel caused it. You need an education on the history of Israel. Israel was re-named Palestine by the Romans and has no Arab connection. The Jews were the first to be called Palestinians. Arabs stole the name for propaganda purposes. Arabs are indigenous to Arabia. They spread out over the Middle East and most of the Arabs in Israel are from Jordan, Syria etc. Neither a Palestinian country or people exist. The so-called refugees you talk about are in their native countries and should stay there.

I have a friend from Zarka in Jordan, for those who do not know, this is the hometown of Abu Musab el Zarkawi, remember him ? My friend, whose family are mostly military personel, said to me, on more than one occassion, "you Israelis are stupid when it comes to the Palestinians, you are vegetarians, you do not know how to solve the problem, had it been us the problem would have been solved a long time ago" ( the appropriate hand movement across the throat at this point ). Yes, we are indeed stupid, no, idiots of the first degree. Day in and day out they declare their intentions, all we do is invite them to carry them out, how pitiful we are, how stupid, we are losing our self respect, the world is laughing at us.Our downfall is on the way, at our very own hands.My entire life has been dedicated to Israel, just to see this happen, this bunch of impotent leaders, useless individuals who want the trappings of power but are incapable of decision. Two temples went, the third is on the way. So sad.

Armies are not moral nor immoral. They are quite amoral and simply do their defined job of killing people. Usually, it is the politicians who tell the army what to do, who are immoral...
