Dana Olmert's courageous stance is something to be highly admired and should be emulated by all peace-loving jews. Hama Kills innocent Israelis but the IDF also kills innocent Palestinians and this is a war crime. The difference is that the palestinians have no choice but the Israeli govertment has a choice to end the occupation. This is the left wing position and let nobody fools themselves, Israel can only have peace when the palestinians have their freedom; otherwise we are all`condemned to eternal war and suffering. There is always freedom of speech for those on the left, but look at Nadia Matar, being harassed and put on trial for "insulting a public servant". Let's see the courts be fair and harass and prosecute those who insulted Halutz. Ain't going to happen. There are a seperate set of rules in Israel for the left. They can call for the destruction of Israel, the death of Jews and nothing is said. Look at what was done to Moishe Feiglin, for blocking traffic, a tactic used by Peretz (who is now defense minister) numerous times, without and prosecution. Feiglin was prohibited from running for office because of his "criminal record", obviously the Left protects Peretz and persecutes those on the right for the most trivial of reasons.
