31. Extreme impositions
Steve ,   USA   (06.14.06)
B"H Ray, you might like this article: http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3263026,00.html It looks like impositions are the political escelon's order of the day, but these impositions do address some of your concerns. Somehow I am not conforted for you or for me with the proposed outcome.

we all need peace, we all need prosperity, we all need co-existence. we all need to feel at home. Whether we/you are the hosts with the most. "Children, children, children oh the children". (not be the theme song of a fundraiser chart hitter with paul macartney and eric clapton coming on to the stage with bob geldof and bono singing in a human on-stage chain "I get by with a little help from our friends", no- sorry. Its not a big enough an issue in the scale of things) the mantra of just a bunch of practical guys from all sides, coming together and selling a realsitic co-existant vision to each other. something to the tune of "peace-salaam-shalom" sounds about right. Very catchy. N.B. Ray, in my pre-edit non-post i wasnt calling you names, i was saying it to the "mofo's" out there, being mofo's. no matter what the personal carer insulters that post on here say, and you let them amazingly, i like your style of thinking and the way you write. I often agree with it in some ways. In other ways I do not. Sometimes because of the Arabic thinking, sometimes because of the American. But that also works, that sometimes i do understand you because of the Arabic thinking AND the American thinking. Both worldly and progressive in different measure . but most of the time, i understand you, because after all.... you do make sense. and you are a progressive and not a reactionary. I like the formers not the latters. peace-salaam-shalom

To BR #18 and #29 ... I think you make some good points. But, to keep Gilo or Ariel, israel should trade back land 1 for 1, not 1 for 9 that they took ... Also, Jerusalem can be whole, eventually, but both sides can have a presence there. As for the refugees, they are NOT going to return. A Palestinian who supports the Two-State solution CANNOT support the ROR, and vice versa. BUT, a palestinian can argue legitimately that the Palestinians have a legal right to return, but int he context of a settlement, that is not possible. Israel can apologize (actually both sides should apologize for what they have done to each other) and offer compensation. Part of the problem is pride. We don't want to do good for the other. To #19. Omid is a friend of mine who supports Comedy for Peace (www.ComedyforPeace.com). He's a great guy and a hilarious comedian. One day I hope to perform with him. I have nothing but respect for him. #27: I have no idea what you are talking about. Are you sure you're not from LA too? Ray hanania www.hanania.com
