the video clearly shows that he was on the bus, handcuffed, with police officers next to him when the lynchers climbed through the window and bludgeoned him to death. Where are the arrests of those police officers or the investigation into the conduct of the police at the scene of the crime.

i don't think it was self defence either, and i'm happy that justice was done. However any normal israeli knows you don't get on the 165 bus. he got on that bus for one reason only. wouldn't you lynch someone who shot up a bus and killed people because of extreme idealogy. i'm not saying its legal but its understandable. so if you want a frame-up, just remember the butler did it.

I doubt these guys will be tried for murder. Im not a lawyer or expert on the legal system in Israel, but it would be fair to say there are extenuating circumstances that led to him being lynched. If this guy was a Palestinian terrorist in Tel Aviv, I wouldnt expect Israelis to hold back. If he shot and killed my son or mother, then my anger would probably take over. This guy was a terrorist vigilante and is no hero by any means. Leave the fighting for the IDF (although these days they cant do squat with sissy leaders like Olmert and Peretz).

The mayor of Shefar'am would seem to be a student of the late Yitzchak Rabin who commented a while back when an Arab attacked a school in Jerusalem that he did not understand how the bystanders let him get away alive.
