Why is it so difficult for you all to imagine what it must feel like to be a native of teh West Bank (yes, a Palestinian), to see your homes demolished and super-duper gorgeous expensive homes built there with barbed wire and armed guards. That's why you are called "settlers" not "purchasers" or "immigrants" - settlers as in the white settlers in Rhodesia, people with no intention whatsoever of merging with their surroundings but with the intention of flaunting their "moral", religious and military superiority at every step. Now go and send all your daughters hitch-hiking in the West Bank. That'll make a few thousand less settlers to evacuate and you religious right-wing myopics will think you have won the moral battle.

Excuse me for breathing, but if you do not wish to read comments by people who do not agree 100% with you, then simply "switch channel". A public forum dealing with the Middle East will naturally have opposing opinions. If you never wish to hear the other side of an argument, then don't bother reading newspapers, don't listen to the news, just go and read the WIZO newsletter and that way you'll find that everyone agrees with you. It might please you to remember that the state of Israel is the racist state - just check the Law of Return. it is Exclusivist. It denies the right of return to people born there and grants the right to return to people who were not born there on the basis of their ethnicity. That is racially divisive and discriminatory.
