The EU has to use the stick if it is serious about pushing Israel to become less hostile and accept the fact that no peace can treaty can be reached without recognizing the Palestinian People right to have it is own independent state on its land.
|
| |
2. No point in unilateral West Bank withdrawal.
Israel will be the losers, Kassams from West Bank and rest of world siding with Palestinians. Stop the stupidity and learn from Gaza.
|
| |
I don't support Olmert's plan, but the EU stance is absolutely no obstacle to Israeli unilateral moves. I'm sure the EU was very specific in their wording here - They didnt' say they'd institute sanctions against Israel, they only said they wouldn't reward Israel by recognizing its unilaterally determined borders.
So what. They didn't say they would sanction the Palestinians unilaterally determining their border, either, meaning that the 1967 boundary is NOT sacrosanct.
The matter here is that the Arabs are up in arms that Israel might get itself off the hook for what ails the Palis, by making them take responsibility for themselves. Simply, Egypt and Jordan are worried that the turd will be on their plate instead of ours.
Since the fence is in most places on the Green Line or only slightly different, the Israelis could initiate at least limited unilateral moves already (meaning, no giving up main blocs and the Jordan Valley, or Rt 443) and not be in any worse shape vis a vis the EU than they are now. How serious would the EU be for punishing Israel for pulling out of "Palestinian" territory? This is to say, where the boundary closely approximates the '67 lines, the EU will probably accept it, since Israel volunteered it and the PA can't expect anything inside Israel. Where it doesn't they won't, but they won't punish Israel either.
And in the meantime, the PA will be at each others throats arguing over the spoils like the crooks they are, they'll behave like bafoons and kill each other for power like every other ARab dictatorship, and eventually the EU won't care any more about the PA's boundaries for their distaste of what their pet Palis are doing to themselves, and the Israelis, Egyptians and Jordanians will then be begged to negotiate/dictate the final borders between themselves, and "Palistine" will be relegated to history.
Well, that's how I'd like to see it.
One thing is for sure, though. Israel under no circumstances should accept the "Prisoners Plan" or the Saudi/Arab League proposal as a substitute for the Road Map's conditions that the PA FIRST undermine its terrorist militias. Even with the Road Map, they should only sign agreements with leaders who can deliver on their promises, and since none of them will, they should not undermine in any way our ability to defend ourselves..
Moreover, there will NEVER be an acceptance of the release of Palestinian murderers in our prisons, or the permission for the Palestinians to flood Israel with an even greater number of people who wish us nothing but harm, all of which are features of these Arab sponsored plans.
Yes, if this means no negotiations, then so be it. It's about time we set some lines in the sand that we take seriously.

How terribly sad, the area known as the Levant, (land area mentioned in the Bible) has never known true peace, is being thwarted by foreign entities to develop its own unquestionable historically recognized governmental authority, has always been occupied by strangers from distance lands that tries to impose their version of righteousness which is driven by their greed, intolerances and old hatreds, upon the Biblical acknowledged populace living upon that land.
The continual struggles in the land known as Judea, are like that of a Pride of Lions, there is and can only be “ONE” dominant male lion, and when a younger male lion feels that he is entitled to be the dominant male, challenges the current dominant male lion. That challenge and the ensuing conflict only ends when one of them is utterly defeated and is either killed or unconditionally surrenders his authority and abandons his dominance.
There is no middle ground, there is no such notion of living side by side, there is no concept of sharing, there in no division of or the breaking off of a group of the pride to bring an end to the conflict.
The lion of Judah is and has been challenged by a young entity for the right to the lands of Judea, irrespective of the outside support of and the actual encouragements to create that which is by nature unattainable this current conflict can and only will end for the time being as governed by the rules of the Jungle.
The real question that should be considered by the current Government is not, how much land will be sufficient to satisfy the challenging entity for dominance, as such notion is foreign to the nature of this type of conflict, nor is the worlds opinion or concurrence of any value to assert the rights of the current Dominant lion.
The reality that this conflict is governed by the theory and controlled according to the laws of nature governing the lion species, should be foremost on the minds of the current leadership, that if defeated, not only will they be forced into exile but are going to face the following realities, one, there is no reversal of their loss, two, they will not find any group willing to or even allowing them to join their Pride, three, any and all offspring’s of the defeated dominant lion will be destroyed by the new Dominant Lion.
To even think different is a sure recipe for an eventual total defeat. Does the reality of almost 60 years, yes 60 years, a whole lifetime of, one side refusing to surrender no matter how many battles it lost as pronounced by their famous 3 NO’S, their refusal is supported by a majority of the worlds governments, and the continual attempts by Israel to placate the challenger by showing it mercy, or even trying to show a desire to coexist with them by “sharpening “ (Giving them weapons) their claws, all done in an effort to gain maybe, legitimacy, by a world that through their inbred historic revolution of the Jewish existence, by an organization called the “UNITED NATIONS” and is now also joined by a new Organization called the “European Union”, which has special deliberate committees set up within their body, that perpetuates, supports and encourages, enacts special anti Israel unsupported so called “International Laws” specifically utilized to de-legitimize any act that is taken by Israel to provide themselves with the ability to mount a proper defense, and all these special unceasing continual support is, legitimized under the definition of “Humanitarian” aid.
Israel in reality has only the following two choices, either abandon the notion of an Independent Jewish Country, try and find a land willing to give them refuge to preserve their lives, or ignore the Islamic and European prejudices and take the necessary forceful actions that would utterly defeat them irrespective of the worlds opinion, demand from them as a condition of ceasing hostilities an unconditional total surrender.

9. EU HYPOCRITES LEGALIZE MURDER of JEWS?
Linda Rivera , |

Haj Amin, Jerusalem's Muslim religious leader,
travelled to
Europe and spent the war years helping Hitler murder
Europe's Jews. Europeans deported Jews from
European countries over 80 times.
European ethnic
Jew-cleansing addicts, along with the U.S. are
leading
the charge for present-day Jew deportation.
http://www.ipc.gov.ps/ipc_new/english/details.asp?name=11588
GAZA, Palestine, November 6, 2005 (IPC + Agencies) - -
The President of
the
European Union's Development Committee, Luisa
Morgantini, declared that
the
EU has laid a plan with a budget of several millions
of dollars to
support
several aspects of development in the Gaza Strip...
She continued that occupied nations have the right to
defend themselves
using legitimate means of armed resistance in
accordance with the
Fourth
Geneva Convention."
65 years ago, it was unacceptable for Jews to live in
Europe. In our present day, the EU legitimizes the
maiming and murder of Jews for living in their Jewish
homeland.
In 1948, Egypt invaded Gaza and ethnically cleansed
ALL Jews. In 1948, Jordan invaded Judea, Samaria and
east Jerusalem and ETHNICALLY CLEANSED ALL
JEWS.
In 1967 when Israel won Islam's religious war of
aggression against it, Jews returned to the areas of
their homeland they had been ethnically cleansed from
for 19 years. Islamofascists and their powerful allies
DECEITFULLY call this return "occupation".
Under international law, territories are considered
"occupied" only when taken in an act of aggression
which does not apply to Israel. Judea, Samaria
and
Gaza are not 'occupied territories' according to
international law because they were not taken from any
foreign sovereign. There NEVER was an Arab country of
Palestine.
The hands of the EU are bloody.

13. Complete the barrier ASAP.All countries need barriers today.
The hordes from all failed states are besieging every developed country in the world today.
Look at Tex Mex, Canary Islands,South Africa.Any developed country is a target.
The only country who isnt bashfull about defending its borders (I think) is Australia.
Asian gangs truck their human cargos into Europe by the Containerload.
IT IS NOT A PAL ISRAEL exclusive problem! It has nothing to do with the political picture. It is a phenomenon that started in70's and went crazy in the 90's.
The Pals cant destroy Israel by a couple of Bombs (now that security is much improved) but infiltration by large numbers can change the scene dramatically. That is the problem.

of the Israeli people, now is saying:
"... should the Palestinian leadership accept the prisoners’ document and form a practical and unbiased government, Israel would be wise to “turn over a new leaf” with the PA...."
What is he meaning? That he is willing to accept prisioner's document in which Israel goes back to its pre 67 borders, and hand over EAST JERUSALEM?
Is this the final goal of Oslo plan?
Is this Israeli People and the Jews all over the world want?
Is this Rabin and Beilin and Peres did with Israel?
They started giving Yaser Arafat automy in Israel's land to after ,step by step, giving up CORE PARTS of Israel to arabs and foreigners interests.
Is this Israel wants, because this is the way facts are being driven.
I find interesting that Meretz was one of the lowest voted parties in the last election, and it is Beilin who is dealing the very Destin of Israel.
Olmert as well had 25% of the agreement of Israelis, still is this man that is leading the country to abyss?
IS THIS ISRAEL WANT???????

16. use your brains! article flawed!
Instead of whining, you could notice that the EU, like the US, say they won't recognize a border defined unilaterally : it is only a common sense declaration based on the international law. The Eu doesn't criticize the realignment but only says that the result of it will not be the final status. By the way, it is exactly what the government says. Much ado for nothing!

territories?
Eurabian Nightmares
By Andrew G. Bostom
FrontPageMagazine.com | March 13, 2006
While Europe Slept chronicles Bawer's personal
encounter with Europe's ongoing Islamization since
late 1998...
France is already 12% Muslim and Switzerland 20%...
Already, in most of Western Europe, 16 to 20 percent
of children are Muslims...within a couple of
generations
many [Western European] countries will have Muslim
majorities.
...a Danish Muslim leader, typical of many European
imams, declared triumphally in 2000, “Muslims have a
dream of living in an Islamic society…This dream will
surely be fulfilled in Denmark…We will eventually be a
majority”.
And such demography is already destiny in Islamic
satellite colonies interspersed throughout Western
Europe where demands for sovereignty began well before
the recent Muslim intifada in France this past fall,
2005.
In France, a public official met with an imam at the
edge of Roubaix's Muslim district out of respect for
his declaration of the neighborhood as Islamic
territory to which she had no right of access.
In Britain, imams have pressed the government to
officially designate certain areas of Bradford as
being under Muslim, not British, law.
In Denmark, Muslim leaders have sought the same kind
of control over parts of Copenhagen.
And in Belgium, Muslims living in the Brussels
neighborhood of Sint-Jans-Molenbeek already view it
not as part of Belgium but as an area under Islamic
jurisdiction in which Belgians are not welcome.
These burgeoning Muslim communities are also consuming
disproportionate amounts of state sponsored welfare
benefits. For example, Danish Muslims comprise 5% of
the population, yet they receive 40% of the
governmental outlays...
...the social workers themselves are often tyrannized
by their Muslim clients. Bawer describes the chilling
situation in Denmark:
Some clients lay waste to social security offices and
hit social workers...
Bawer further documents how Norwegian (Oslo) imams
preach brazenly that Muslims should expect such
welfare benefits-and feel justified in supplementing
them by stealing from stores-as a form of jizya*
extracted from their infidel "host"
societies-societies that have not yet accepted their
requisite subservience to Islamic Law!

30. Stopping the Tit for Tat approach
B"H
Israel is always chasing after solutions instead of presenting solutions, implementing them, and then presenting the results.
All that is needed to show one is serious on this plan is the building of one house for each rocket that lands. It is very simple response, and it is on Olmert's official plan to move people. There needs to be a house for each person moved that has its fortifications in place with a better-constructed roof.
He can build that house in the area he intents to relocate people, to show the Arab world that he is serious in his convicitions and that these convictions are independent of the convictions of those he plans to move.
A big part of the frustration if the Gaza scenario was the uprooting of people with no houses prepared, no employment thought out, and really an overall sloppy process that has led still to huge unemployment levels. Not to mention that the funds were not made available to pay out even what the law specified, making the situation illegal, even according to Israeli Law!
http://english.katif.net/index.php?id=2145&sub=1
Put down a house for each rocket launch. Start that community with businesses, with manufacturing capabilities that supply jobs. Put there a summer camp for the Sderot children, and allow those who were uprooted previously to settle and to participate in the building process.
The main complaint that I see from those Jews uprooted is that the process of building is not available to them. The poverty and everything else is something they have taken with strides in their service, and now they are highly employable!
Allow them to be part of the solution and to build with you, and that is going to go a long way.
There are people who know how to solve this problem, and their approach was very effective at preventing the rocket attacks from reaching Israel inside Olmert's fence previously. Apply your expertise, and there could be wonderous results.
Who is a serious Israeli who wants to get into the construction business on this? Present your email here on YNET if so.
I am still looking for property in Sderot as now is a great time to invest. Anyone interested in renting out or selling?
