I was watching the game at Mike's Place in Tel Aviv when this happened and it was a beautiful moment. Not only was it a terrific game and upset, but it was the first game I'd watched where the bar erupted in applause not only when they won the match, but AGAIN when he pulled out the flag. John is giving credit to those that allowed him to be where he is today. If I was discovered and moulded in another country, I'd gladly give them the credit and respect they deserve! While it might be a little odd that Pantsil waved that particular flag, it could also be seen as his sending his supporters in Israel a message of support. Besides, apart from the obvious politics that most Egyptian supporters appear not to understand. Where is Egypt in this years World Cup ... have they not won 5 Africa Cup titles to date ?
