"I understand you also understand the Arabs - surprise, they think the same about Jews! And so life goes on, everybody living out their morbid little fantasies." Okay, I can accept that. You understand both sides. But how come EVERY single post you submit only reflects the views of the Arabs and ignores the pain and anquish that all the Arabs have inflicted upon the Jews for the last 100 years? You constantly scream the tiresome, leftist buzzwords like "occupation", "apartied" ,etc. without checking the root causes and the history of the conflict. You willingly accept every story coming from the Pals as the unchallenged truth and anything coming from the Jews as distortions and lies. For you, the Pals are always innocent and the Jews are always guilty. You come across on your posts as pompous and arrogant and the reality is that you have zero wider perspective. You have a very narrow perspective.
37. 'War on Terror' and PM Olmert on vacation in Petra.
Gerd ,   Germany   (06.22.06)
Nice conversation? Peaceful atmosphere? Excellent dishes? Bete avon, PM Olmert. Don't worry about Israel. Everything is as always and you are right: Y O U (!) couldn't change anything. (It's a shame you left Sderot alone!)

Hey, there are surely much more Jews than Arabs on these boards. I'm trying to help Jews by widening their perspective! Why should I waste time just repeating what they already know? So, the most important question for you is: would you divide Jerusalem if it could put an end to these Gaza "accidents" and actually result in peaceful coexistence of Israel and a Palestinian state?
39. No apologies required , spend time and energy on
kate ,   england   (06.22.06)
exposing the great big lie about Palestinians. Why can't we learn from the past? It was Hitler that said people dismiss a small lie, but a big lie, people will think there is some truth in it. STOP wasting time and space on poorly aimed attacks on the destroyers of Israel and apologies where none are needed. Expose the BIG lie, and keep on that track starting from now!

"So, the most important question for you is: would you divide Jerusalem if it could put an end to these Gaza "accidents" and actually result in peaceful coexistence of Israel and a Palestinian state?" If dividing Jerusalem, of which the Arabs have ZERO historical claim to, would lead to peaceful coexistence between Israel and a Palestinian state then the answer is YES. BUT, lets look at current reality from a wider perspective: Hamas, currently leading the PA, claims all of Israel as Muslim land and says all Jews must be expelled. When they say that the occupation must end, they do not mean the occupation of Gaza and the West Bank, they mean all of Israel. The Gaza strip has been ethnically cleansed of ALL Jews. The Gaza strip has an open border with Egypt yet without provocation, the palestinian terror groups fire missiles into civillian areas with the sole purpose of killing Jews. The Palestinians say that all refugees from wars that THEY started must be allowed to return back into Israel. In other words, in order for there to be peace, the Israelis must agree to national suicide by Demographics means. So the answer to your question is yes but with the Arab track record of the last 60 years of war, terrorism, barberism, intractble hatred, teaching their children to hate and kill, suicide bombings, highjackings, unrealistic negotiating positions, the question really is: Do you think that the Palestinians really want peace? The evidence points to the contrary.
42. We want peace..but
Ron ,   LA   (06.22.06)
...but war comes first. Olmert learn from great leaders, not shtinkers... Carry the battle to them. Don't let them bring it to you. Put them on the defensive and don't ever apologize for anything. Harry S. Truman

if you have feelings ,then let your "leaders", if one can call them that , know about your "feelings". to most observers ,the only feelings you have are jubilation , excasy , frantic madness when it comes to dead , lynched ,israelis.
44. We're sorry for Olmert!

Now, that was a very nice answer to my question about Jerusalem. Unfortunately, for the past decades Israel has been doing and saying everything to the contrary. But hopefully, there will soon be enough people like you on the Israeli side. Arabs too have their reasons why they want Jerusalem. They too have had a sizable population there, for more than a millennium, as well as temples and associated mythology. If you think that's a zero historical claim then Jewish historical claim to the city isn't far from zero either. As for the Kassam problem, it's not very helpful to see it as a response to Israel's departure from Gaza but rather as a sign that the conflict is still far from being resolved. You can't decontextualize Gaza from West Bank and Jerusalem, where the occupation and gloom persist. If terrorists said they wouldn't attack Tel Aviv but would continue to attack Jerusalem would Israel thankfully accept this? That being said, Palestinians are for sure suffering from major delusions of their own. Sanity will have to prevail over the fantasies of destruction of Israel or the return of all refugees. Do they really want peace? It doesn't look so, does it. Do Jews want peace? Judging from their settlement enterprise since 1967, it doesn't look so either. But maybe all is not lost yet. Delusions can be cured, with the right medication and psychotherapy.
