This is why after dozens of terrorist attacks in March 2002- with hundreds of Israeli casualties, once we went on the offensive in April, it stopped IMMEDIATELY. The following year, Israeli casualties were down by 80%, and continued to plummet as long as we were on the offensive. Had we replicated this in Gaza instead of ethnically cleansing Jews, there would be peace now.

Palestinians are living in fear and poverty while their neighbours in Israel are enjoying a booming economy. And given the Palestinians have just elected a terrorist group as their leaders, a group which is dedicated to Israel's destruction, and Abbas is little more than a neutered nobody, there is no one with whom Israel can talk peace. If Israel should talk peace with the Palestinians, then Britain should also have negotiated peace with the Nazis in 1944.
