Well, first than all,I avoided in my # 5 talk back to enter in the Haredi problem in Israel, and prefered to stick in the palis problem.
Why did I avoid entering in Haredi problem?
Because even you being right in some aspects you mention about their life in Israel ,as not paying taxs, not going into the army, etc,I think that it is happening a blind and unfair hate against Haredim in Israel ,due to political interests.
So,I am trying to be cautious to "judge"them, since they are my brothers as any other Jew.
Yes,many things must be worked out in Israel and about Haredim, but hatred is not the way, principaly against our owns.
I can assure you that Haredim are not a bigger problem than palis,at all,Mike!
They don't bomb them selves against others, they don't try to rob land from others-as arabs are intenting about Israel-,they just want to follow Jewish comandments.
Yes,I agree that they should be more opened towards all other Isarelis, but I repeat ,the way is not hatred and a divided society.
About them not allowing outsiders in their community,I am sure you are wrong.
I myself, one of the times I was in Israel, I was invited to dinner in the home of one of them,I passed Pessach with them ,and they didn't know me.
I just had a book with the name of many sinagogues and Religious People who were willing to receive foreigners, especially the ones travelling in a strict budget,as it was my case that time.
Again ,in another travel, this time not to Israel,I was in the Ortodox community asking for informations and some clues, and I was extremely well received.
So,we have to think better before condemning our brothers.
That's my view.Ididn't write without a based opinion, but rather opposite.
