#20You are a brave person, sitting in Iceland and acting brave, and you say, "so less Israelis have to endure such a terrible thing as a shock." 8 people have been killed from Kassams and with only luck, no children were killed after at least 5 times, kassams landed in schools. I know that this is not reported in your media in Iceland, but I am sure every dirt place Israel hits, your media has their headlines You can say that because you live in a place, that is not threaten to be wiped into the sea. No one is telling the world, that iceland will be nuked. Oh you are the brave one. I would give you only one night in Sedrot, and you would be high tailing it back to iceland. #20,you think that Israel is playing though, and should " live and let live" You got the wrong side to blame. The Muslims,in the 20th and the late 30's,when there was no Israel, came in to Hevron and massacred the UNHARMED Jews living in Hevron, which is now occupied by the Pals, for you see they took over the properties of the dead and expelled Jews. In 1967,the Arabs had what they want today, but was going to attack Israel, and throw them into the sea,and that is why today Israel is in the so-called "occupied" territories" Now I know, you are from mars,so I am telling you what is really happening and it is so simple. Israel is fighting to save her life, that the Muslims want Israel gone and dead. It is the Muslims, who will not let Israel, live PERIOD go home to Mars who needs you here
32. Fire rockets at iceland
Russel ,   tlv   (07.06.06)
and any other country and see how they respond. You little twerp. You're nearly as dumb as the morons who fire them at Israel - why don't they just pack up and go home. Tomorrow they can start building their country.
33. We are at peace with Egypt, Jordan
Russel ,   Tlv   (07.06.06)
Like Egypt and Jordan, the palestinians can have peace with Israel. Why don't they make the effort?
34. to palestinian #20 learn your own history
AP ,   USA   (07.06.06)
mr. palestinian: "ashkelon or in arabic askalon cleared from arabs". Actually sir, the arab village at the site of ashkelon before Israel's independence war was MAJDAL. Shows the blind belief you have in your nation's propoganda. But in any case, since you lack knowledge of history let me enlighten you. In 1948, MAJDAL was used by Egyptian forces as the base for their staged invasion of Tel Aviv (which failed). Now what do you expect, the zionists aren't going to clear that threat on Tel Aviv. The arabs of majdal didnt have to aid the egyptians and could have chosen to live in peace with the egyptians. Too bad for them, they lost their homes as a result, now its a thriving israeli city. And if your people don't stop attacking our city with rockets, there is going to be retaliation. maybe now youll have a lesson about your refugee problem!

HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND DURING THE SUICIDE BOMBINGS, THE MURDERS OF THOUSANDS OF ISRAELI CITIZENS INCLUDING BABIES, TEENAGERS,PARENTS, GRAND PARENTS, ON PURPOSE, WITH BOMBS CONTAINING BOMBS AND SCREWS, IN ORDER TO CAUSE THE MOST PAIN AND SUFFERING. ISRAEL IS FIGHTING TERROR AND UNFORTUNATELY SOMETIMES INNOCENTS GET HURT. IT IS NOT THE SAME AS THE PURPOSEFUL TARGETING OF INNOCENT ISRAELIS. FOR YOU, SITTING THERE IS ICELAND IT'S EASY TO BE SARCASTIC. WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IF TERRORISTS WOULD TRY TO KILL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS ON A DAILY BASIS AND WOULD CLAIM THAT YOUR LAND WAS SOMEHOW THEIRS? I BET YOU WOULD SING A DIFFERENT SONG. AND NO, I AM NOT JEWISH AND I DO NOT LIVE IN ISRAEL NEITHER BUT I HAVE ENOUGH OF MY OWN INTELLIGENCE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THE ARABS WHO CALL THEMSELVES PALESTINIANS ARE TRYING TO DO. I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR IGNORANCE. Canadian, Toronto
36. Yes, Arabs are the most native to this land!
Historian   (07.06.06)
Before the Israelites moved from Egypt, the Canaanites and Jebusites whol built Jerusalem were inhabiting the Holy Land. The Canaanites are believe to be coming from the inner Arabian Peninsula. They are the original Arbaians, while Arabs of Mecca are the sons of Ishmael. These are arabized Arabs, in arabic they are referred to as, "Arab Mustarebah". The Cannanite as " Arab Arebah" Today's Palestinians inheritied the Canaanite/Phoencial culture and are a natural extension of these historic trbies and populations living in the holy Land. It is not true that Jews have this land exculsively. Israelites themsevles in Arabic are Called Ibrani, which means invaders! Semitic speaking culture followed the Ghassulian culture. Archaeologists refer to the culture as Canaanite. This usage differs from that of the Bible and related literature where the term is used in a more narrow sense for one group within the culture. Some historians regard it as part of a wave of migration of semitic-speaking peoples out of the Arabian Peninsula, while others suggest that they had been there ever since the original Semitic emigration from Africa. Terra Sancta sive Palæstina. (1759 map)Later, the Israelites appeared. Archaeologists regard them as an outgrowth of the Canaanite culture. According to the Bible they were descended from Jacob whose sons generally had Biblical Canaanite wifes. The Bible describes them as returning following the Exodus from Egypt, conquering, exterminating, and sometimes absorbing the tribes they found there and reclaiming the land it says God promised them. Successive waves of migration brought other groups onto the scene. Around 1200 BCE the Hittite empire was conquered by allied tribes from the north. The Phoenicians (which are a different group than the Canaanites conquered by the Israelites) were temporarily displaced, but returned when the invading tribes showed no inclination to settle. The Egyptians called the horde that swept across Asia Minor and the Mediterranean Sea the Sea Peoples. The Philistines (whose traces disappear before the 5th century BCE) are presently considered to have been among them, giving the name Philistia to the region in which they settled. 37. Hamas has declared war over and over and over again
Jenny ,   USA   (07.06.06)
and the international community says "it's just rhetoric" and "pay no attention to them, they don't really mean it." I am SO sick of the whitewashing and hearing how Hamas were "democratically elected." They were democratically elected to kill Jews and I cannot stand another minute of it. They have declared war and they have asked to be sent to the virgins. Give them their wish.

go and pay a visit to your BIG BLACK STONE, regard it with awe and admiration, bow down to it, say a prayer to it, maybe it will help you, maybe it will send you food and medicine. Good rock. Best rock in the world. Let's see what it can do for you. Wish I had a pet black rock to watch over me, and guard me from danger.

Traditions regarding the early history found in later works such as the the Book of Jubilees, the Kebra Nagast and commentaries of Rashi, Philo and the Sepher Hayashar of Ibn Ezra refer to the early inhabitants as the sons of Shem and also speak of an invasion by the people known as Canaanites descended from Ham. The Book of Jubilees states that the land was originally allotted to Shem and Arphaxad (ancestor of the Hebrews) when it was still vacant, but was wrongfully occupied by Canaan and his son Sidon. The Kebra Nagast speaks of the Canaanites invading existing cities of Shem and Ibn Ezra, similarly notes that they had seized land from earlier inhabitants. Rashi mentions that the Canaanites were seizing land from the sons of Shem in the days of Abraham. The Tanakh does not directly mention Shemite presence in the land before the Canaanites although late Canaanite arrival is implied in Genesis 12:6 where the expression "the Canaanite were then in the land" carries the connotation of then but not before. The Philistines are among the most maligned peoples of ancient history. The Bible characterized them as cunning pagan warmongers; the ancient Egyptians as pirates and marauders ..... One of the Aegean Sea Peoples who settled on the southern coast of Canaan at the end of the twelfth century BC -- they entered history as the main adversaries of the Israelites The Philistines continued as a nation until the Babylonian exile. During Nebuchadnezzar's reign they aligned themselves with Egypt and Judah in an anti-Babylonian alliance. The Babylonian army invaded and swept through the region, both Philistia and Judah, and deported the rulers, the wealthy, and the educated of both nations. The Philistines didn't maintain their identity nor their culture while they were in exile and so they never returned to reclaim their homeland. Thus, the Babylonian exile brought an end to Philistia leaving us only stories and artifacts of this once thriving nation of refugees. forward http://www.hcna.us/columns/phili.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_ancient_Israel_and_Judah
42. What was the name of your "country"
to # 20 ,   Holland   (07.06.06)
Dear Palestinian, Don't feel sorry for the Israelis :-). We are living the good live, while you are living in shit and begging all the time for money from the world as you have no brains to use for living a good life. Israelis invented so many good things for the world (High tech inventions, medical treatments and many professors who help all people in the world. You, the Palestinians invented only one thing TERROR! While you are continueing your life in the Hell of Gaza, I am going to enjoy my breakfast in one of the beautifull cities in Israel, enjoying the beach, working in a High Tech place, bringing my kids to good schools and when I need medical care I am going to see on of these really good doctors we have here :-) You can continue playing terrorist, but do not complain that you do not have anything. It's all in your hands guy. You will fight, you will loose as you allready did. While Israel used the last 60 years to build up a country which is beautifull and the best place on earth to live in, you live as rats in Hell. Good luck :-)
43. to the "HISTORIAN"
Tini ,   Holland   (07.06.06)
Israel never ever belonged to the "Palestinians" or any other Arab nation. We (the Jews) where occupied by many: The Greeks, the Arabs, The Persians, the Romans, the Turks, even not so long ago the ENGLISH. All off them where Occupiers and never the owners of the land of Israel. Always during these times, Jewish communities where living in their land and smaller Arab communities where living in Israel, as they even are today. The Turkish invited from all Arab states (Jordan, Egypt etc.) workers to work the land. A part of them stayed. Also the English invited Arabs (even without working permits) to work the land. These people are the so called Palestinians". They are created not so long ago and they have no long history as a country or as a people together. (They never had their own country) Also in England, France, Holland, Spain, Denmark and so many other countries in Europe and all over the world there are Arab workers. They live for more then 3 generations in these countries. It does not give them the right to there own state! As Europe is not of the Arabs also Israel is not of the Arabs. The Muslims have 54 countries all over the world. In Europe where they gave to the Muslims everything they need while expelled from their own Muslims countries ???, the Muslims are now continueing what the Palestinians started in Israel. Taking over these countries. Look at the world and see what is really happening. The Muslims are taking over the world and Israel is a very strategic place to start with. I am sorry for the Europeans and the rest of the world. At least Israel knows who they are dealing with. You, will find out when it's to late.
44. To #43: Most Jews are first or Second generation in this
(07.06.06)
land! Arabs built akko, Jaffa, Jerusalem Old City walls, Dome of the Rock, Nazareth, etc....... You are new comers claiming connection to this land. No more no less. We are on this land before Moses, after him and until today. Palestine is in the northern part of the Arabian Peninsula and it is natural to have been dominated by Arabian tribes before the 7th century like Amorites, Canaanites, etc.... and by Arabs after the 7th Century who mixed with the present population and did not ethnically cleanse it. Jews have been only 2% of the population until early 1900, not more not less....
