Welcome Home Ben and family - but do Israel a favor - leave your brother back in the US - we don't need any more apologetic people who care more about the Palestinians who are trying to kill us then about our own - he, and Indyk - the two Jewish ambassadors were among the worst we ever suffered through.

Maale Edumim is a city with 40,000 citizens.
7. The Right Hates His Family
David ,   Yerushalayim   (07.06.06)
His brother, although also a Zionist and religious, was the subject of all kinds of hysterical abuse from the Far Right when he had the nerve to criticize Israeli government settlement policy, which they tried to argue was off-limits to diaspora Jews. That was back when the government was doing th Far Right's bidding. Now that's changed, apparently they now believe it's OK to call the elected Israeli government Nazis.

11. talkbacks
keren ,   sao paulo   (07.08.06)
I read the talkbacks and many of them are so discouraging. It is a pity. But will come the time when all of us will be a unite People ,in our Land and re-conected to our ancestry, and this time running in the path meant to us,enriched by so many centuries of Diapora and more mature and prepared.
12. "I ALWAYS FELT LIKE A GUEST."
AMERICAN JEW ,   USA   (07.09.06)
"I ALWAYS FELT LIKE A GUEST." I WAS STUNNED BY THIS STATEMENT BECAUSE IT'S HOW I FEEL, BUT DIDN'T KNOW IT.
13. Of course it feels like a wedding...
Adam Admati ,   Israel   (07.09.06)
All sorts of gifts and a box of cash from the government of Israel on the backs of the little people... Lots of strangers wanting a foto with you... A new home, yet the old home is just a 12 hour (but if feels less because you only fly 1st class) flight away.
14. Disregard the criticism
Raymond ,   Dallas USA   (07.31.06)
Ben's family made a big step in their life by moving to Israel. They are truly amazing people and care for others around them. Having met the former ambassador, I can personally say he is not the dirty politician that he is often perceived as but rather someone I have great respect for. We will miss them in Dallas and hope to join them in Israel soon!
