Why? Will victims be resurrected if they are? Sorry, but I strongly disagree. Bottom line, there can be no capitulation to the terrorists' demands. The reason there is a hostage now is because Israel mistakenly gave in to their demands in the past. To continue to make the same mistake over and over again is called insanity! As important as it is to recover Shalit alive, it is much more important to do what's right in the long run, from a big picture perspective. This means doing what's right for the nation's millions of citizens as oposed to an individual citizen(s). By the way, if it was my loved one, I'd probably say the same as Shalit's father...but the authorities are tasked to act with reason and logic, not emotion!

i was listening to the national public radio the other day (3 days ago).. they were interviewing a palestinian's teenager from one of the israeli prison asking him the regular questions ....why and who sent you etc .. the teen said the he carried several knives on purpose ...so he can be arrested at the road block in order to go to prison ..the reason being is they do not have food at home .. this teenager destroyed israel's immage in the US (NPR is a national Radio ) . the moral of this story is to tell you that those prsoners are not terrorists ...sorry .

Negotiations with the murderers is to listen and to accommodate a “deal” that is making MURDER profitable venture. You pay for the one kidnapped hostage, with release of other thugs so they know that killing the Jew is win-win situation. I.e. Abdula a young prospective Arab Nazi kills “only” one Jew, he goes to jail and wait for one or two years until someone of his family or friends kidnap a Jew (they cut him in few pieces) and exchange his remains for 200 plus Abdula like nazizoids.
