Religion, tolerance and the gay parade. In my neighborhood there are random gunshots heard being fired. It is not unlawful in the state of Arizona to possess firearms and it says we are allowed to in the U. S. Constitution. The problem may not be with the firearm or even the person who possesses it. The problem is accountability. Is such a person accountable for a neighbor’s dog, or any child out of doors in the event of being hit by the stray bullet? Can that person turn back the hands of time or immediately heal the wounded or make the pain go away along with any recollection of it? The problem is also responsibility. With freedom comes responsibility. Ok, I have a firearm and it’s the 4th of July, so to express my right to freedom of the life I want and the right to bear arms I am going to randomly fire my weapon in the sky or some such thing, regardless of what is around me. Oh, I wont let it hurt anyone, etc. This example deals with some uncontrollable factors. Where do bullets stop as soon as they leave the gun? Is there anyone within its range when it comes down at that right moment? Until we can know everything about the cosmos and any other dimension and thus every effect for every cause we may find it beneficial to simply follow certain ‘instructions’ instead of testing God, all the time. Is it just coincidence that hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans just a day prior to the planned week of a big parade similar to the one now in question?
