Which David am I to believe? The David who says "Thousands of innocents massacred in Iraq-by the same US army." Or the David who says "I fully support the US's war in Iraq." David on Monday or David on Tuesday or perhaps there is a different David for every day in the week.
Let's say that I take the reasonable view and assume that your accusation of "massacring the innocents" was a handy stick you picked up to use in the heat of argument. Why does that not imply that anti-American sentiments are so rife in Israel that you can pick them up in an instant without thought? Why is that no Israeli bothers to say "Wait a minute?"
Am I supposed to give a country "a break" if it wishes me and mine ill? Shai claims that it is only a minority of Israelis that are enemies to the US. I have only two things to go on: past history, which is certainly not reassuring, and current comments.
If you want to show that you are pro-American, don't use anti-American slogans. I do not use anti-Semitic slogans if the person I happen to be disagreeing with is a Jew because, you see, I think anti-Semitism is vile.
