1. gunmen hurt, oh dear.
johanna ,   tsfat   (07.11.06)
are we supposed to feel sorry for the gunmen that were hurt ? excuse me! i thought that was one of the risks of being a gunman, that someone might shoot at you and you might get hurt. In northern ireland during the ira 'campaign', gunmen/ terrorists/militants were always at risk, not only from the other sides paramilitaries, and the british army if they were the ira, but also from their own side. who would do a lot of "kneecapping" ie shooting at people's knees, to maintain internal discipline. moral of the story, don't be a gunman if you don't want someone to shoot you.
2. Israel must continue attack till Pals stop all Kassams
Lemar ,   UK   (07.11.06)
3. way to go IDF
ber borochov ,   Minsk   (07.11.06)
John Donne deplored the loss of one life, but Hemminway took it in another direction. Unlike Franco or Hitler, the IDF is carrying out defensive actions aimed at terrorists about to launch rockets, their warehouses, and the secret tunnels. Sometime innocents get killed. As Donne remarked, it diminishes us all. The Arab teens are encouraged to surround the rocket crews as a form of protection, as human shields. The IDF does not have a choice to not fire to disable the rockets, even if Hamas instructs its children to be in harms way. The IDF has handcuffs on in this operation. Let us hope it is not necessary to have a Dresden as well.
4. Mothers of terrorists are rejoicing in the death of sons.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Santa Monica, CA   (07.11.06)
Pity the IDF couldn't make thousands of mothers happy instead of only a few.
5. Hamas teams fire Kassy, run away THEN teens&kids cleanup
Alan ,   SA   (07.11.06)
6. Congratulations, IDF
Elvira ,   Spain   (07.11.06)
Good for you. Keep up the good work and stop all the qassam launching.
7. Great work IDF
Art ,   Sydney Town   (07.11.06)
Wonderful wonderful work IDF and IAF. Keep it up, keep hitting the Pals because its harder to fire rockets when you're running for your life. And to the politicians, I say: Never say SORRY! Dont even think of saying that word. Never say "limited", rather say "open-ended". Never say "can't do". You can do it IDF, greatest army in the world.
8. Bunnie #4
Rustum ,   London, UK   (07.11.06)
Yet another example of your odious murderous delight... "Pity the IDF couldn't make thousands of mothers happy" [by killing their sons]. Everyone on this forum should condemn your constant filthy racist writings. You only ever delight in death, never in peace. Unfortunately, the witch of Geneva will probably write defending your evil comments. So what does that make her? A foul cabal of evil racists. with love, R
9. to#1 soldiers hurt, oh...dear
(07.11.06)
You should say the same thing to your criminal soldiers who are killing chidren in Gaza.
10. Pal terrorists are racists
Elvira   (07.11.06)
There we go. Pal mothers give candy and hold parties when their children die. Why is it racist for the Israelis to rejoice at the dead of a terrorist? And why isn't it racist for the pals to murder Israelis and rejoice at the slaughter of Israelis and the people in the World Trade center?
11. Me and my mouth...
Rustum ,   London,UK   (07.11.06)
Im here again! so discontented am i with my own pathetic life that i go OUT OF MY WAY to go onto Ynet daily in order to annoy jews. I know that Jews are reasonable people, heck the amount of left wingers on here with all the peace loving talk is unreal! not to mention cretins like diamant who literally sides with the enemy, in this case the moslems. Yet you WILL NEVER find a "palestinians for peace" movement, I have NEVER heard of one. Whilst i know my arguments on here get wacked the whole time, and I seem never able to refute them. People constantly have a go at me yet I cant seem to answer them. I know that Jews are of superior intelligence but I never knew I was quite this thick. Just ignore me, I am full of hate, I care not for you poor jews who have been persecuted for so many years and just want security in your land. I am sorry for my ignorance.

16. Rustrum - Bunnie is no racist though you are
Baz   (07.11.06)
No where in her post does Bunnie refer to race but only refers to terrorists. The assumption that terrorist means Palestinian is your own. Just as I assume that your use of the term 'foul cabal' shows you to be an antisemite

Rustum ,   London, UK   (07.11.06)
Baz you are correct, I am a racist, then again I am a moslem so what do you expect? my religion teaches hate to us from school and upwards. We are brainwashed into hating Jews. you cannot blame me. I am so sick of the constant Israeli sucess that it makes me cringe. The way I deal with this failure, which i feel affects me personally is by taking time out of my empty life to attack you jews on Ynet and other sites. Please dont take it personally I cant help my twisted views
20. Arab leaders admit there is no such thing as a palestinian..
Meir ,   Arab occupied Israel   (07.11.06)
Re-take Gaza! The Jew-cleansed areas have been transformed into terrorist training camps and a GLOBAL base for TERROR! Global jihad is greatly empowered as the U.S. EU and UN support a GLOBAL Islamic TERROR state in Israel that will threaten the world. There NEVER was an Arab country of Palestine. Jerusalem was NEVER the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Jerusalem is mentioned over 800 times in the Bible, not once in the Koran. Arabs FIRST took the name “Palestinians” in 1967. Arafat was the FIRST leader of this NEW PEOPLE. Before 1948, Jews were known as the Palestinians! The Jewish newspaper, the Jerusalem Post was called the Palestine Post. http://palestinepostings.blogspot.com/2005/06/historical-palestinians-very-simple.html Human Rights Destroyers want Jews barred from living in Judea and Samaria, the Biblical heartland which includes Hebron, the first Jewish city, and second in Jewish holiness, because JEWS are NOT MUSLIM! Respect is always given to Muslims! No one is trying to force Muslims out of Mecca and Medina! After the Jews miraculously transformed desert and swamps into rich, agricultural land (for which Jews are world famous!) Arabs came in large numbers from Arab countries for jobs from the Jews. The fact that the overwhelming majority of Arabs resided only briefly in Palestine is attested to by the special UN decree: that any Arab who had resided in Palestine FOR ONLY TWO YEARS BEFORE 1948, and then left, would be considered a refugee and so would his descendants!!! On March 31, 1977, Dutch newspaper Trouw published an interview with PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein: “The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct “Palestinian people” to oppose Zionism. For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan.
21. " "Pity the IDF couldn't make thousands of mothers happy"
Rustum ,   London, UK   (07.11.06)
goldwater & meyer death inc. - neither of you is interested in peace, but both of you worship some form of perverted religion of hatred and death. Never once - I repeat, never once, have you referred to Moslems/Palestinians in anything other than a sneering supremacist manner. Never once have you regretted the death of anyone. Never once have you condemned the death of the innocents (oh, unless they are Israeli babies). Furthermore, dear ladies (if you qualify for that term) - your pathetic "anti-goy" campaign to stop non-Jews reading YNET is a non-starter. You still don't get the idea that a newspaper is a public organ - and yet you continue this ridiculous little campaign telling "goyyim" not to post their opinions. What the two of you want is some parochial little screaming room where you can get together with only "unsre" and scream about how dreadful teh Moslems are, how teh Palestinians don't exist (oh, unless they are dead in which case you don't seem to complain about the terminology), where you from your safe havens of Geneva and Santa Monica can espouse your particularly venemous form of racism and feel offended whenever anyone points out that your ideas are barbarous, your ideology stinks of racial supremacism, your attitude to mankind is that of an Uberfrau and your manner of debate is ignorant, rancourous and totally lacking in humility. You twist the words of those calling for peace and then brand them "Jew haters" and yet neither of you is willing to put yourselves in the path of danger by putting your money where your mouth is and going to live in an apartment in Sderot and actually suffering what the residents go through. Naturally it's much safer for Jews to live in Geneva which is why you stay there. In fact all of Europe is safer for Jews than the "état de merde" and that's why you don't go there. You're not a journalist, Mrs G. You are a pathetic hack who copies unoriginal scum-writing from the sewers of the Arab world when it suits your medieval tribal opinions. I'll see you next week at the Cairo Opera House. Ta ta.

27. Tatula-Thanks again...
Rustum ,   London,UK   (07.11.06)
I forgot to also mention that I wanted to thank you on another count to. Can you imagine on a moslem website a jew interfering with the talkbacks there and attacking moslems verbally as well as insulting islam. then a moslem saying "well done jew, i totally agree with you"!!! I can assure you that that person would be banned from the website and branded a "kfir" (heretic in arabic). yet its amazing how much spineless jewish support i have on this Ynet thing. its amazing!!! people like you talula actually help us arab moslems in realising our goal to destroy the state of Israel and kill aLL of the jewish occupiers there. We do not mince our words nor deny our intentions, heck our leaders even say them publically in arabic on national television!! but usefull idiots like you talula REALLY REALLY help our cause to eliminate the occupation from our land of palestine. Thank you Tatula and all the other spineless self hating jews on this site for actually siding WITH the enemy.... Something a moslem would NEVER do....
28. This is what moslems in london REALLY think....
Rustum ,   London,UK   (07.11.06)
The London transport bombings of July 2005 prompted no less than eight surveys of Muslim opinion in the United Kingdom within the year. When added to two surveys from 2004, they provide in the aggregate a unique insight into the thinking of the nearly 2 million Muslims in "Londonistan." The hostile mentality they portray is especially alarming when one recalls that London's police commissioner, Sir Ian Blair, recently said that the threat of terrorism "is very grim" because there are, "as we speak, people in the United Kingdom planning further atrocities." The July 7 attacks: About one in 20 British Muslims has voiced overt sympathy for the bombings a year ago. Separate polls find that between 2% and 6% endorse the attacks, 4% refuse to condemn them, 5% believe the Koran justifies them, and 6% say the suicide bombers were acting in accord with the principles of Islam. Without endorsing the attacks, far larger numbers show an understanding for them: Thirteen percent say the July 7 suicide bombers should be regarded as "martyrs," 16% say the attacks were wrong but the cause was right, while 20% feel sympathy for the "feelings and motives" of the attackers. A whopping 56% can see "why some people behave in that way." Help the police? A worrisome number of Muslims would not help the police if they suspected a fellow Muslim was planning a terrorist attack, ranging in different surveys from 5% to 14% to 18%. Violence acceptable? Before 7/7, 11% found it acceptable "for religious or political groups to use violence for political ends" but only 4% thought so after the attacks, showing a rare improvement. Two polls turned up the identical figure of 7% of Muslims endorsing suicide attacks on civilians in Britain. (Among 18- to 24-year-olds, those most likely to carry out such an attack, the number jumps to 12%.) How about suicide attacks on the military in Britain? Positive answers came in at 16% and 21% (with 28% of 18- to 24-year-olds). Are the respondents themselves willing to embrace violence to bring an end to "decadent and immoral" Western society? One percent, or some 16,000 persons, answered in the affirmative. Muslim or British: Polling indicates that a majority of Muslims perceive a conflict between their British and Muslim identities. Two polls show that only a small proportion identifies itself first as a British (7% and 12%), but they differ widely on the number who identify first with their religion (81% and 46%). Implementing Islamic law: Muslims widely state that Shariah should reign in Britain. Forty percent approve of Shariah being applied in predominantly Muslim areas, and 61% want Shariah courts to settle civil cases among Muslims. All of 58% want those who criticize or insult Islam to face criminal prosecution. Schools should be prohibited from banning female pupils from wearing the hijab, say 55%, while 88% insist that schools and work places should accommodate Muslim prayer times. Integration into Britain: In a nearly mirror-image of each other, 65% say Muslims need to do more to integrate into mainstream British culture, and 36% say modern British values threaten the Islamic way of life. Twenty-seven percent feel conflicted between loyalty to fellow Muslims and to Britain. Of those who despise Western civilization and think Muslims "should seek to bring it to an end," 32% endorse nonviolent means and 7% violent means. Attitudes toward Jews: Polls confirm that the antisemitism widespread in the Muslim world also rears its head in Britain. About half the Muslims polled believe that Jews in Britain have too much influence over Britain's foreign policy and are in league with the Freemasons to control its press and politics. Some 37% consider Jews in Britain "legitimate targets as part of the ongoing struggle for justice in the Middle East," and 16% state that suicide bombings can be justified in Israel. (Among 18- to 24-year-olds, that number rises to 21%.)
