61. Jerusalem-holy land?
bob ,   los angeles, USA   (07.14.06)
Hey. What do you know, Jews are upset about the marching of homosexuals in Jerusalem. Is homosexuality worse than murdering innocent people in Lebanon and Gaza? Is homosexuality a greater sin than promiscuity, prostitution, drug dealing and other vices? Why do you pick and choose which parts of Judaism you wish to follow? Make peace with your neighbors, before you attack homosexuals, who according to your own beliefs are harming only themselves.
62. Orthogay
Aaron ,   NYC USA   (07.26.06)
I am gay, orthodox and proud that we have a thriving gay Jewish LGBT community in NYC, far away from the hate and venom spewed by "frum" people in Jerusalem. Kol haKavod to the brave gays of Israel who are standing up for themselves and those who are too scared to do the same for fear of their coreligionists.
63. This is a very silly article
Yosef ,   New City   (07.27.06)
"Therefore, their statements are the greatest imaginable desecration of Gods name that has ever happened in Israel. They are much worse than the desire of a particular group to march legally through the streets of Jerusalem. " Bigger then Rabin being killed, bigger than Temanim being housed in pens, bigger then Kastner, bigger then Golda Meyer's affairs, the biggest chillul Hashem. This rabbi is very silly.
64. both covenants say homosexuality is wrong
Tamar   (07.28.06)
You are quoting the new covenant and are actually misquoting it. The Bri't Hadashah is an Orthodox Jewish book that the rabbis don't want Jews to read because it teaches to love and obey HaShem. It also speaks about homosexuality and says it is an abomination.
65. # 53 Brian
A Gay Christian ,   USA   (09.05.06)
This is one of the reasons Jesus died. Jesus was Gay. It is proven in the NT. Jesus loves his SPECIAL PEOPLE.
66. Rejoice in Each Other!
JG ,   MO, US   (10.31.06)
Ally- that's what the author is. People don't have to be gay or lesbian to relate to discrimination. We have all, at one point or another, been discriminated against. All the more reason to put an end to the power plays-and recognize ALL PEOPLE as EQUAL. It doesn't matter what color skin you have, how you address the Almighty, or who you fuck. We are here together! When will we stop seeing eachother as catagories (in which people are systematically oppressed) and begin to rejoice in eachother as fellow HUMAN BEINGS???!!! Please, Can it be today!
67. Pride Cowards
Anna ,   U.S.A.   (11.08.06)
Perhaps the wonderful rainbow marchers could hold their next march in Gaza. If anyone should attack them they could count on the locals to defend them.
