1. Maybe Abbas and Hamas will listen?
Daniel   (07.11.06)
If Jordan is worried about the rockets maybe he Arabs under Hamas' control will finally listen. No one wants the rockets fired into Israel. No one supports it Arab and Israeli alike. I just fear that Haniyeh will never get a clue
2. Jordanians worried Wildcat Kassys may fall on Amman
Alan ,   SA   (07.11.06)
3. Why doesn't the article mention minority Hashemite control?
Josh   (07.11.06)
The Hashemites are afraid that their minority control over an overwhelming "Palestinian" Arab population can be jeopardized. Why isn't a destabilized Jordan mentioned in this "press release" for King Abdullah?
4. Of course Jordan is worried
Caligula's Horse ,   Solomon's Stables   (07.11.06)
With the food comes the appetite...
5. Old and old talks...
keren ,   sao paulo   (07.11.06)
and everything gets only worse with these talks. Abbas is an useless polititian and a good terrorist;the king should start effectively finding solutions if he wants to avoid problems in his kingdom. Blame Israel is the most coward and childish way to resolv the problem. Autonomy in WE and Gaza is a bad thing. My,opinion, again:their "parliaments" should be closed, and those "children"should be on Israel's control again, and then being distributed, step by step, without creating a big fuss,to arabs countries. My opinion.
6. I believe in biological weapons to finish off the Palestinia
joseph ,   ny   (07.11.06)
7. Wall does not bring you peace/safty
Hanzala ,   Jerusalem-Palestine   (07.11.06)
I though the wall will bring the Israelis more safety......and now the Palestinian in the West bank are able to fire "baby rokets"..... People take the chance and listen to Haniya, nothing is for ever. Regards, J
8. Rockets will soon reach Tel Aviv
Juke ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (07.11.06)
Rockets will soon reach Tel Aviv and this has nothing to do with the latest military exercise. It all about the Palestinian’s true goals of creating a state that includes the entire border of Israel. After leaving Aza with our tails between our legs the Palestinian has an open border with Egypt and are free to bring in what ever contra band they choose. Including sophisticated medium-range rockets from Iran as reported in World Tribune. Achmedinejad of Iran has told Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, Bahrain and Egypt of his plans to wipe Israel off the map today, no one objected This proves that the Oslo experiment has failed and the Arabs and the Palestinian have no interest in creating a true ever lasting peace.
9. Abdullah King of Jordan?
HBendor ,   New York USA   (07.11.06)
It becomes more evident every day now that all of this could have been avoided and the question of the so-called Palestinians solved a long time ago. I do not want to rehash history here, but this King is ruling over a majority of 81% Palestinians in Jordan (which is in actuality 77% of the Mandate for Palestine) The British had received that Mandate together with another one, the ‘Mandate for Mesopotamia’ which is today Iraq from the then ‘League of Nations’. The Idea of dividing the ‘Mandate for Palestine’ along the river Jordan giving 77% of it to an upstart from the Hedjaz by the name of Abdullah (uncle of the late king Hussein and his son the present king Abdullah of today). The creation of this artificial State, which Abdullah from the Hedjaz of Arabia wanted to call ‘Palestine’ at the time, then was persuaded by the Brits not to do, so… is the culminating point as to why ‘Jews and Arabs’ are suffering today. The Present King Abdullah must welcome back his subjects nearly 950,000 documented Jordanians lingering in Israel proper from the time his father ruled the so called ‘West Bank’ for 19 years. The present Jordanians in Israel were inherited by the so-called Palestinians, and are forming the bulk of the M.E. controversy. Once these Jordanians are repatriated to Jordan, nothing is left of the remaining Arabs so called Nationalism but Terrorists with nowhere to go. King Abdullah must understand that the key of the so-called “Palestinian problem” is in his hands and can be solved on the spot. This gesture from his part (absorbing the 950,000 Jordanians) could solve the problem of the Middle East once and all. The Americans, the oil rich nations and Israel can help the King integrate this multitude and make it productive.
10. Hanzala in Jerusalem, Israel
Jane   (07.11.06)
G-d's covenant with the Jewish people is forever. Don't recall any covenant with you.
11. How to stop the Kassams
MIK ,   Stamford, CT   (07.11.06)
Every Jewish settlement should have its own arsenal of Kassams that could be fired on Palestinians.
12. Militants must all die..
Chad ,   California,USA   (07.11.06)
As long as the palastinian government allows armed gangs of terrorsists to operate from its land there will never be any peace, especially for the palastinians, Isreal will wipe them from the map if this continues much longer.
13. I say send them to England
Gandolf ,   Canada   (07.11.06)
remember 1970 Syria ousts the PLO. Jordan accepts the PLO until fighting breaks out with Jordanian military. Jordan dumps PLO into Lebanon. ... PLO leaves Lebanon for Tunis... PLO leaves Gaza strip to ?? I say send them to England ----------- While Israel is in Gaza and commited to engagement why not entrap a large number of their fighters and take them out , this pin prick crap is for the Birds, and really shows weakness.
14. Return of all the immigrants
Robert ,   Australia   (07.11.06)
HBendor had the right idea. Actually the return of about 4 million Europeans ("Jews") to Europe would solve the situation much easier.
15. To #6
As'ad ,   Dublin   (07.11.06)
I strongly believe that you are a sick weirdo that need to be institutionalised.
16. australia
gandolf ,   canada   (07.11.06)
living in australia I wonder where the aboriginals would like to send you?? talking about the pot calling the kettle black
17. #11 the right answer
V2   (07.11.06)
And nobody can accuse Israel with the use of inappropriate force. EU should fund the civilian developmet of Israeli version of Kassam, so that the IDF need not respond everytime. Israel will then be on equal footing with the Pal, what a brilliant solution.
18. Re # 14 Robert from the stolen continent of australia
HBendor ,   New York USA   (07.12.06)
Robert friend the Jewish exiles are returning home to populate it with your approbation or without it! In fact, I must remind you that ‘to come to plead your lunatic stratagem in public’ you must come with clean hands. You and the New Zealanders should be the last ones in this world to dictate direction to the Jews of Israel since New Zealand was stolen from the Maoris and Australia from its aborigines. Go hide under the rock you sprung forth from, I hope a snake is waiting for you there.
