Rather Islam is the first religion to recognize the rights of Muslims. I am an educated Muslim women and i feel very protected by my religion. Islam treats women like flowers and has provided us with men as our protectors.I would recommend that one should reserve their comments about something if they donot have proper knowledge about it.

I would really advise all the jews and christians to do their homework before using degrading langauage against women in Islam. First of all women are not treated like animals in Islam rather it was the jews and the christians who treated their women even worse than animals in the past and even now. She bore Asim ibn Umar to him, and then he separated from her. Umar came to Quba and found his son Asim playing in the courtyard of the mosque. He took him by the arm and placed him before him on his mount. The grandmother of the child saw him and argued with Umar about the child so they went to Abu Bakr as-Siddiq. Umar said, 'My son.' The woman said, 'My son.' Abu Bakr said, 'Do not interfere between a child and its mother.' Umar did not repeat his words." Yahya said that he heard Malik say, "This is what I would have done in that situation." (Al-Muwatta, hadith no. 37.6) We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents: In pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of) thirty months. At length, when he reaches the age of full strength and attains forty years, he says, "O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou has bestowed upon me, and upon both my parent and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious to me in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to Thee) in Islam." (Quran 46:15) 3) In Islaam, Woman has RIGHT over the WEALTH of the Man but a man does not have any right over the wealth of the Woman, i.e. her right in share of inheritance from her Father AND her right over what her Husband earns through work AND her right of Mahr for the Marriage. ON MAHR:- “And give to the women (whom you marry) their MAHR (obligatory bridal money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage) with a good heart…” [al-Nisaa’ 4:4] Ibn Katheer, may Allaah have mercy on him, said, summarizing the comments of the mufassireen on this aayah: “The man must definitely pay the dowry to the woman, and he should not resent it.” The mahr is the right of the wife, and it is not permitted for her father or anyone else to take it except with her approval. Abu Saalih said: “When a man married off his daughter, he would take her mahr away from her, but Allaah forbade them to do that, and gave women the right to the mahr they received.” (Tafseer Ibn Katheer)

ON RIGHT OF INHERITANCE FROM WEALTH OF THE FATHER:- “There is a share for men and a share for women from what is left by parents and those nearest related” [al-Nisa’ 4:7] ON Wealth of the Husband :- It was narrated from Jaabir that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said in his Farewell Sermon: “Fear Allah concerning women! Verily you have taken them on the security of Allah, and intercourse with them has been made lawful unto you by words of Allah. You too have rights over them, and that they should not allow anyone to sit on your bed [i.e., not let them into the house] whom you do not like. But if they do that, you can chastise them but not severely. Their rights upon you are that you should provide them with food and clothing in a fitting manner” (Narrated by Muslim, no. 2803.1) “but the father of the child shall bear the cost of the mother’s food and clothing on a reasonable basis” [al-Baqarah 2:233] Hind, the mother of Mu'awiya said to Allah's Apostle, "Abu Sufyan (her husband) is a miser. Am I allowed to take from his money secretly?" The Prophet said to her, "You and your sons may take what is sufficient reasonably and fairly." (Sahih Bukhari volume 3 hadith no. 413) Accommodation. This is also one of the wife’s rights, which means that her husband should prepare for her accommodation according to his means and ability. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Lodge them (the divorced women) where you dwell, according to your means” [al-Talaaq 65:6] 4) A Woman can wear gold but a man is forbidden to wear gold in Islaam Yahya said that he heard Malik say, "I disapprove of youths wearing any gold because I heard that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade wearing gold rings, and I disapprove of it for males old or young." (Al-Muwatta hadith no. 48.4) 5) A woman can wear silk clothes but a man is forbidden to wear them in Islaam The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Wearing silk and gold has been made unlawful for the males of my Ummah and lawful for their females. (Tirmidhi hadith no. 808) Now i ask you, Christians and Jews, please show me from the Old testament or New Testament, from the "Torah" or the "Gospel", sayings of Moses(pbuh) or Jesus(pbuh) concerning Women`s rights ABOVE MEN ? The number of Jewish converts to Islam is not significant and this trend can be easily explained by very personal reasons. The same with Muslim converts to Judaism.
