31. #9 and #16 What??
Eli ,   West Jordan, UT   (07.14.06)
#9 Yeah, excellent idea, when all the neighborhood terrorists start kidnapping your soldiers at once Israel should NEGOTIATE. It should be clear at this point that negotiation is not an option. #16 Let me get this straight you want the US to enter a war to topple Syria, Iran, and LEBANON. Why would we want to topple a democratic anti-syrian government? Israel's only real option is to try and eliminate the terrorist networks and cut-off their assistance from the outside, I don't think they have any real hope of getting their soldiers back but intend to make sure this NEVER happens again. I just wish they could do it without hurting civilians. But the scumbags have their major operation headquarters in the suburbs for God's sake.
32. Zionists Lust Too Much For This War
Roberto ,   Dallas, Texas   (07.14.06)
Patience everyone, Patience. This is gonna happen when it is inevitable, and not a moment sooner. When its the real deal, you won't be reading about it here... on the net... at some cafe or dorm or kibbutz. May G_D have mercy on us all.
33. Response to # 30
Chris Bennet ,   Richmond, Va   (07.14.06)
Well said. Your response to # 9 is better than I could have said it. And if David Joseph is responding to me (in response # 21), then I don't understand your point. I am willing to fight and die for, and give up tens of thousands of American lives if it crushes this sick twisted religious faith that believes blowing up supermarkets, beheading people on the internet, and sucks American tax dollars to support a worthless, unproductive, and hateful group of people called the Palestinians in order to gain peace. War is what they wage on American and Israeli interests. War is what they should get. I know America won't take the gloves off, but Israel will. If America can support Israel with air support or whatever is necessary, then yes, I am for it. And I am not afraid to join the fray and fight these sick twisted people. (I fought against it 15 years ago, and I wish we had waged REAL war then.) Quite frankly, I am sick of watching Americans and Westerners getting beheaded, Israeli civilians getting rocketed to death, suicide bombers, and anti-semites getting TV air time. One day full scale war is coming. I hope its sooner than later. I hope we get it done before these evil Islamic people get nuclear capability. I hope this goes full scale, and I REALLY hope Iran gets involved: guess who is sitting on the eastern AND western of Iran? You guessed it. The good old USA. The only country with the power to ensure this won't become a "world war" And one more thing.... guess who pulls the trigger for the USA? A Cowboy. Go Israel go! God Bless Your Troops. God and America is with you
34. #9
Joe Blow ,   Smalltown, USA   (07.14.06)
If the chicken_hit Islamoterrorists did not hide behind children and women's skirts, there'd be a whole lot less killing of "innocent" civilians. If the Islamo punks are so tough, why don't they come out and fight, instead of scurrying into their caves? Let's go, Israel...end it once and for all...annihilate every last one of them.
35. #15
Joe Blow ,   Smalltown, USA   (07.14.06)
Clearly, your comment is delusional. I guess instead of bombing a powerplant, the Israelis should have bombed a busy restaurant or a commuter bus filled with people on their way to work. Would that have been better? Make the people suffer...maybe then they'll force change in their own governments. Israel has been holding back for many years. They have the firepower and the will to literally wipe these third-world Arab slums off the face of the earth. Its time for the Israelis to do just that...courtesy of good ol' American weaponry. My tax dollars at work...I love it.
36. Plus ca change .....
D. Lipton ,   Toronto, Canada   (07.14.06)
It appears that the usual suspects are up to their usual activites. Let them have a taste of it . Then everyone can start talking once again. Plus ca change, plus c'est le meme chose.
37. Israel vs terrorists
Duane Lamers ,   Troy, Michigan USA   (07.14.06)
From this vantage point it appears that Iran and Syria, but mainly Iran, are behind the latest terrorism directed against Israel. Perhaps Israel will have to destabilize the regimes in Teheran and Damascus in order to solve the problem. There is no peace until there is victory. There never has been.
38. #13
(07.14.06)
Proof, I suppose you want proof Hezbollah also murdered 6 Israeli soldiers and then took two as prisoners...the unprovoked incident which caused this whole thing..Gene, lets say I , as aneighbor, walk into your house kill everyone in your family, except two who I then take captive...according to your sick twisted mind that would make me...the victim???..your an idiot you cant be taken seriously
39. Want to help?
Ken Quinn ,   Amsterdam   (07.14.06)
In times past, I was free at moments like this and flew to Israel to volunteer in the Sar El program. Google it, get the info and go volunteer on an IDF base. It's a real blast.
40. IDF
Joseph Spillman ,   Midwest City OK USA   (07.14.06)
Please do not think you are isolated. Many of the Christians in this country are behind you all the way. Israel has shown remarkable restraint and is justified in taking action.
41. Response to #31
Chris Bennet ,   Richmond, VA   (07.14.06)
True. The current Lebanese government IS anti-Syrian. But it has allowed Hezbollah to run rampant in Southern Lebanon. In fact, I doubt if you asked most Lebanese citizens, they will tell you that their government is NOT in control of their land. Syria still has an iron fist over that land. And once again, may I point out that Lebanon used to be a beautiful tourist attraction in the middle east. Now it is under Islamic regime control, and its just as stable and wonderful a place to live as the rest of the Islamic fundamentalist world. Yes, we can topple them too and make the world a better place. I wonder if the hippies will join my song about making the world happier and better.... LOL!
42. Good morning Marcel Marcel#4
Ron   (07.14.06)
The Arab leadres are the one who protect U baby.If Arabs have loyal leaders to their people , ur Israel won't be surviving till now.Bottom line, this odd regime will vanish over time, be patinet and U'll see.
43. Ryan. Chicago
bob ,   Dali China   (07.14.06)
Never enough--Till it's done!
44. Iran
Jack ,   Spokane,WA   (07.14.06)
Iran's government consists of cowards. They fund and supply others to be their mouthpieces. The mullahs who run Iran do not represent the people of Iran. The government in Iran is every bit as sick as the government of North Korea
45. Gene from Raleigh - which end is your butt!?
Joseph ,   Phila, Pa   (07.14.06)
Are you joking me?! It is not the Israeli's that spew lies it is the Arabs - ALL of the time. Do you think that Hezbollah is so organized in the heat of war that they know which individual soldiers are firing rockets? Since the press showed the damage in Hiafa I can only assume that you are insinuating that the Israeli's fired at their own city. If so, you better hurry up and lock your back door as the "boogie man" is coming! Idiot!
46. Bully?!
Joseph ,   Philadephia, Pa   (07.14.06)
If Israel is a bully then the good ole' USofA must be GOLIATH. I am sure "J" that if Boston was being bombed with rockets for well over a year that you would be happy to sit back watch the "Sox" and have your govenrment do nothing! Let's not forget, the Israeli's sat back and took it for 10 months until striking back! So tell me Mr. Peace, is the loss of some airconditioning so bad? By the way, since 80% of the world NEVER hass acces to A/C how are the Palestinians considered so "bad off?". Hell, if you are so worried about electrical power, take a trip to Africa, or most of centeral America OR New Orleans! Think before you type!
47. 15. Israel feedback
Randy ,   Boston, Mass   (07.14.06)
Don't listen to this liberal. Go Israel, stand up and defend yourself!
48. Wake Up!
G. Patel ,   Jacksonville, FL, US   (07.14.06)
One thing is for sure, the powers of Islam can't live with the existence of Jews. Peace was almost at hand with Israel pulling out of occupied territories and settlements. Then the Palestinians elected a terrorist backed government. I'm not a Jew, Muslim, or Christian for that matter but I do know that Islam is a threat to everyone not willing to convert and then you're still not safe. The powers of Islam would sacrifice the souls of millions just to see all non-Muslims die and each day are closer to acting to make this a reality. There may be millions of peaceful Muslims but they are apathetic or don’t have any power to hold back those that call for the slaughtering of millions. In our modern, enlightened times where many of us are insulated by the stability of the western world, it is unfathomable that evil can rise up ever again and claim the lives of countless people, even though this has been man's nature for thousands of years. Everyone should ask themselves if there is any possibility for peace with the fascist mentality and chose a side. I choose not support Islamic fascism because there are countless followers of the faith that would think nothing of taking my life just for the opinions expressed in this post.

Marcel ,   Florida   (07.14.06)
I don't buy it ,the state dept has always been anti Israel and Bush is a globalist with his destroy Israel Road Map plan. The U.S. restrained Israel when Saddam fired 39 scuds into Israel in 91' .since then it's been all downhill for Israel nad deterrence with it's neighbors. Thank you America. Why Is The U.S. Always Restraining Israel ? The reason is so that Israel does not defeat those intent on her destruction. This standing U.S. policy is always maintained to make sure Israel does not embarass the Arab world again with a quick and humiliating defeat. There is too much at stake for America to be loyal to any one small nation, especially when they are Jews. The dubious ally,America always effectively ties Israel's hands since their surprising defeat of Syria,Jordan and Egypt in 1967. And Israel always falls for this ruse. I received an email for a deluded Israeli today who found a convinent excuse for why Bush was limiting Israel's response to Arab agression across their border. He Wrote; "the Bush Administration is restraining Israel because the Administration is having a time of it in Iraq and with Iran." That's rubbish Yom Kippur war 76' was supposed to be a decisice victory for the Arabs,as the U.S. hoped it would be. The 1st Bush administration restrained Israel from responding to Saddam's 39 scuds during the first U.S. move on Saddam. This began the bleeding of Israel's now non existent deterrence against her Arab neighbors. It's just more of the same U.S.Policy against Israel. Israel's most serious tactical error has been to rely on the U.S.to look out for their best interests. You still have not awakened to the dangers of U.S. calls for restraint and Iraq is just another red herring excuse to tie Israel's hands again. The world as a whole is troubled when the Jews defend themselves. They would much rather like to see them quietly head to slaughter without fighting or protest and this is why France and so many a crying against Israel's supposed disproporinate use of force. Wake Up Israel ,this is not the time for restraint . It is time to tell Bush to restrain himself from interference in Israel's attempt to revive deterrence with her neighbors.

51. Israel is God's children. He shall protect them
MA ,   US   (07.14.06)
May God bless and protect Israel. We will see Him protect them in a miraculous way. Thank God for President Bush who knows whose side we belong on.
52. 15, J, Did the US went too far in Afghanistan?
Ak   (07.14.06)
How far do you go when an enemy shells your cities, towns and villages?

by by ...or hey hey ..never ha ha
54. Nasi's own goal
Stefano   (07.14.06)
Israel's job now is to incinerate everything Hizbullah is and has in Lebanon. Including Nasrallah's house, all must be reconstituted as black carbon. And the next set of leaflets must warn all newspeople and government officials that the IDF will consider any conference or meeting held by or with Nasrallah, from now until forever, a targeting opportunity, only to be attended at their own risk. Soon, we'll only be hearing from that dork via videos smuggled out of caves with a sheet as a backdrop. A great victory, indeed! The Black Prophet's gamble is turning out to be a gift to Israel.
55. War
David Guye ,   Lipan, Texas   (07.14.06)
God bless Israel and all its people and military. Do what must be done so that your great country can survive and maybe someday live in peace. Our prayers and support are with you.
56. Many are with you. here in the USA
David ,   USA, austin   (07.14.06)
The majority of Americans are with you...and I am disappointed in the adminstration I voted for that they are not standing more firmly eith Israel!!! I have written them many times asking why they are not more forcefully in taking on these animals. God Bless and Protect Israel! A Christian Brother in Arms.
57. God Bless Israel
David ,   Austin, Texas   (07.14.06)
The only way to solve the problem is to destroy all those who would use women and childeren as human shields! Palestinians only understand one thing death it about time we give them there wish!
58. Would the US put up with this?
Roger Knight ,   Seattle, Washington   (07.14.06)
If Katyusha rockets were to rain down on Nogales, Arizona from Nogales, Sonora, how long would we Americans put up with it? Would we rely on negotiations with the Mexican authorities? Would we show restraint?
59. IDF needs better AntiMissile Technology
Andy ,   Dallas, Texas USA   (07.14.06)
USA's Missle Defense Agency(MDA) is hard at work building anti-missile missles and laser guns. Unfortunately, most won't be available for Israel until 1-3 years from now. Hang Tough for now, since I think too many rockets are getting through at this time. The only good news is that there are a "fixed" amount in Lebanon. They will run out or be destroyed in the next few weeks.
60. May God Protect you
David ,   Austin, Texas   (07.14.06)
Just know that others are keeping you in their prays. May the Lord bless you and keep you safe from harm. Even thou I walk though the valley of the shadow of death I shall fear no evil for the Lord my God is with me always. David
