Israel's recent activity to destroy Hezbollah and Hamas capabilities is long overdue, and in my opinion, is still overly restrained. Israel must be relentless in pursuing terror leaders - chasing them down until they have no place left to hide. The Arab world must recognize and accept that Israel is a sovereign nation, and any attempt to harm it will be met with deadly consequences.

Rather than condemning Israel the world community should be cheering their courage and fortitude in the face of sheer cowardice. For the US to give 50 million to Palestine in humanitarian aid they should first check to see if the recipients have any shred of humanity. Lobbing bombs into civilian homes, beheadings, bombings at weddings and on buses, etc. sure doesn't smack to me of anyone with a strong human moral fiber. Al in Canada brings up an interesting point concerning the prophet Isaiah. A dire prophecy was given in Isaiah 17:1. He simply states that Damascus will no longer be a city. Since the city presently exists as perhaps the oldest city on earth today, the prophecy is yet to happen. Sadly, verse 4 states that the "glory of Jacob will fade" at this time as well. Could it mean that once Damascus is struck, a retaliatory action is taken by Syria's more powerful allies?
