For all the Arab oil wealth there has been very little investment in the so-called area of Palestine to create jobs. Without jobs there will never be peace. This tells me that the Arabs do not desire peace. The country of Israel has a historic claim to the land and until the Arab world acknowledges the right of Israel to exist the poor Arabs of the area will continue to suffer.

Lisa, What a story you tell. I believe you are correct. The key to peace within the Arab community rests with the Arab mothers. The Arab culture is so full of recrimination, revenge and just plain hatred that the Arab culture is enslaved in a never ending cycle of violence and sorrow. The pervasive honor-shame mindset drags down the Arab. Until the Arab youngster is taught early in life to place a high priority on love, forgiveness, and sharing, Arabs will forever be a very violent and unhappy people.
