1. DISARM HISBOLLAH NOW !!! DISARM HISBOLLAH NOW !!!!
AVINU   (07.16.06)
THAT IS A WAR >>> DISARM THIS EVIL HISBOLLAH NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. Hasbara
Yehudit   (07.16.06)
Why isn't the story of what is going on in Israel getting to the US papers? Why are there huge pictures of the what is going on in Lebanon instead? Why can't Israel get its story out? I am so frustrated that what I read on Ynet, Jpost and Haaretz seems to be a deep dark secret.
3. And the world says we're over-reacting
Arie   (07.16.06)
Just like the fighters in the Warsaw Ghetto over-reacted. We shall not listen to thise that wish us dead, but rather seek our own security!
4. NUKE TERAN
(07.16.06)
5. ??
Vorax   (07.16.06)
.. could somebody in IDF answer WHY? Army's duty is to go and destroy rocket crews and cashes immediately. There must be massive commando raids coordinated with air support. There are about 5-6 batallions of hz in the South, and they're effectively cut now from supplies. This is time. Go with all force, they will run, or be finished. Go!!!
6. There is an end to Hizbollah....
Chan ,   Los Angeles   (07.16.06)
At this rate, Hizbollah's arsenal of missiles will be exhausted in 2-3 weeks. Will the residents of Northern Israel have the patience? At this point, the Katusha's do not seem to be a strategic threat to Israel, despite some casualties and damage. Keep up the good work IDF! Keep softening them up with precision air strikes. In August, with their infrastructure destroyed and their arsenal depleted, Hizbullah will be easy pickens for the IDF's armored corp and elite infantry units.
7. free our prisoner and leave our land
mohammed ,   gaza   (07.16.06)
free our prisoner and leave our land
8. Israels over reaction
Simon ,   London England   (07.16.06)
When those in Diplomatic circles accuse Israel of over reaction they mean a number of things; if it is Hezbollah they mean this is not what we expected. You were supposed to give up the terrorists from your jail, that’s the rules of the game. When the EU accuses Israel of over reaction they mean something different; how many times we have told you Jews you are not supposed to fight back. That is not what is expected of you. If the Basques were sat there with thousands of rockets and were threatening France do you seriously think Chirac would do nothing. Finally when was the last Arab summit convened to condemn the behavior of Shiites Muslims in Iraq, who only this week were dragging Sunnis out of there cars and executing them on the spot.
9. World Condemnation
Macon ,   USA   (07.16.06)
I have never seen so much anti-semetism in my life in Europe! Israel is being attacked and all the European leaders can say is: Don't fight back??? I say Israel needs to not only defend it's nation but severly punish those countries like Iran and Syria who sponser terrorists attacks against them!
10. Israel Must Stand Firm
Don Nelson ,   Indiana,USA   (07.16.06)
Much of the world would care less if Israel fell to the jihadist. Israel needs to be strong and they will flourish after this period of persecution.
11. 700 Katyushas
jaime ,   London uk   (07.16.06)
This means that there are still 8300 left to destroy.
12. To Yehudit
Radjam ,   USA   (07.16.06)
US papers generally are non-sensical. Same with Iraq, Afghanistan, little mention of what occured under old regimes, no mention that US has more murders and traffic accidents than deaths among military in recent conflict, no mention that military crime rate among about 150,000 troops is lower than normally in a US city of the same size, no mention of women's freedom from oppression, no mention of children being released from jails. Only mention that 4 civilians were unfortunately killed today, or someone was raped, or some troops got carried away in prison or interrogation to stop mad fanatics who would kill us all if they could.
13. my vote is ISRAEL!
k jennings ,   pittsburgh, pa.   (07.16.06)
I don't care for mohammad, I don't care for anyone who would deny Israel here land. First came Abram. The same bullying of Isaac is still being performed by Ishmael in the house of Abraham. Cast them out!
14. Macon, World Condemnation
Radjam ,   USA   (07.16.06)
Not anti-semitism I don't think just stupidity
15. Bias in American Press
Chris ,   United States   (07.16.06)
Radjam, You are so correct as the press in America is so bias it refuses to look at the whole pisture and report the facts. In its leftist adgenda it will only report that which is detrimental to America. What ever makes us look bad in the world view. Now with Isreal standing up and beginning to put these thugs/punks/degenerate homicidal maniacs in their place the press and so many commentors on different blogs and stories want to condem Isreal for doing what is RIGHT. It is about time the politicians stayed out of this and let what needs to be done be done by those who will do it.
16. overreaction.
larry ,   northridge usa   (07.16.06)
French pres. chirac thinks Israel overreacted. Anything other than surrender is an overreaction to the French
17. what is really going on?
Halev b' yisrael ,   MA - USA   (07.16.06)
CNN/Fox can't get the story either.. I realize its the middle of the night...and still 'shabbes in the usa. but they keep talking about 25,000 American civilians in Lebanon. What about the hundreds of thousands of Americans, Canadians and tourists from all over in Israel right now?? Tourism is Israel's biggest industry.
18. Simon #8
James ,   Houston, Texas   (07.16.06)
Yes, France would do something if rockets were reigning down on them. They would surrender. I love Israel!!!
19. Surely you jest, sir
Anonymous ,   no_bombs, PL   (07.16.06)
Stop going across borders to abduct soldiers of a sovereign nation and other antics and the Israelis will leave you be!
20. It's About Time..
RT ,   USA   (07.16.06)
Get rid of Hisbollah, Hamas, Al Queda, thugs running Iran and NK, and the world can be at peace. Get rid of those on the left, also.
21. Larry, it so true that i actually feel kind of sorry
Al ,   Brooklyn USA   (07.16.06)
22. Disproportionate
Max ,   Sherman Oaks, CA   (07.16.06)
The French and other "european types" say that Israel's response is disproportionate. It is the French themselves who are disproportionate. The loser country has clout well out of proportion to any good that France has ever produced.
23. A Christian's Perspective:
Jimmy ,   Orlando, USA   (07.16.06)
I pray for peace in Israel. But that peace will have to come as true peace always does: through superior firepower. I have the utmost respect for Israel and their defense policy. I wish that the USA was as vigorous. Shalom.
24. The neverending Terror War
RAlph M. Felix ,   Jacksonville   (07.16.06)
This seemingly unending War on Terror should be largely placed on the shoulder of former president Carter who acted so cowardly towards Iran back in the late 70's, followed by President Bill Clinton inviting Yasser Arafat to the White House, the Godfather of terrorism. Now, we have apresident who has weak-knees in the face of World opinion. America sets the pace. For as long as we are acting as cowards, the rest of the world will act twice as worst. The US and the World need a Reagan conservative in office to liberate the Middle-East. Newt Gingrich, are you listening?...
25. Liberal Bias?
Jason ,   Los Angeles   (07.16.06)
Try watching CNN. You will see their star reporter Anderson Cooper reporting from Israeli towns under bombardment from Katushyas and the fact that 200,000 Israelis are living in fear for their lives. The so called "liberal" bias is non-existent. I support Israel and from what I have seen of American TV news coverage, they are getting a very fair shake.
26. America is with You!
Steve ,   Tucson, U.S.   (07.16.06)
Despite what the press may say, the majority of Americans support Israels right to self defense and secretly wants you to get rid of Hezbolla and others. These groups must be destroyed.
27. Both counties could have prevented this
Eddie ,   Philadelphia, PA   (07.16.06)
A military border skirmish turns into a full blown out war? Clearly this could have been prevented. Is Israel overreacting now? I dont think so; But I think it did overreact initially and now we have a full blown war. I think both sides are equally to blame.
28. Toll of dead & wounded...
Manny ,   NY, USA   (07.16.06)
Well, if you elect a bunch of clowns who are clueless to Israels` security priorities, you are going to have a lot of funerals and casualties. Olmert won`t even show his face up north. He`s too tired of winning. LOL.
29. Speaking of bias, did CNN leaned 0.1 towards Israel after
Márcia ,   Brazil   (07.16.06)
the Saudis criticized Hezbollah, or was it just my impression?
30. nuke tehran
steve ,   austin, texas   (07.16.06)
