I would also recommend the development of drone aircraft that could be flown into Israeli territory filled with explosives and precision guided to their targets. Hisbollah should also be provided with the technology and means of manufacturing precision guided torpedo's for the purpose of sinking Israeli ships, which can and do sit off shore and shell Israel's neighbouring states with out fear of counterstrike. A policy of one dead Israeli for every dead Palestinian/Lebanese person should be the stated and achieved goal.

Yes, Israel should stand firm on it's policy of perpetual murder. 50 years of this policies implementation have brought about peace in the region, and 50 more years of this policy can do nothing but magnify the love that the world and in particular the families of those murdered by the Israeli state, have for Israel. If Israel is overeacting then release the kidnapped soldiers and the operations will cease it's that simple. Just as Saddam forced the hand of the U.S. when he failed to comply with 17 UN resolutions. Hezbollah is forcing Israel's hand. The solution is simple. Six million Jews live in Israel. Assuming half are women, a third are children and a fifth are older men, that leaves less than a million men to defend the land from potentially twenty million or more fanatical killers. Against these horrific odds Israel will prevail once again. Israel has learned it's lesson. Land for peace has been a folly. The only thing Israel's enemies understand is unrelenting strength and to know that every time a terrorist strikes the terrorist's "host' nation will be terribly punished. I just finished watching Greta von Sasteren’s show on Fox News and I'm still fuming. After Palestinian presented his side, as usually full of lies, an Israeli representative had his chance to present the Israeli side, like talk about the rocket attacks on Sderot and Ashkelon, on Israeli children injured, in shelters and traumatized on the bombardment of the northern Israeli cities and villages -- unfortunately he did no such a thing. He only stated that the Arabs had elected Hamas after Israelis left Gaza, as this in itself was a sufficient explanation for present war. As a matter of fact he had very little to say. The man made it appear that Israelis have no reasonable rebuttal to Palestinian claims. Sorry, but not all Americans read Ynet and Arutz Sheva; most rely on what they see and hear on the tube. So, how come the Israeli Embassy had allowed that idiot to become Israel’s public spokesman before the American public at the very time when Arabs are waging a very successful propaganda war against Israel, and how come that idiot, who is obviously oblivious to his verbal shortcomings and is devoid of judgment, got his posting to the US, rather than San Marino? I am a fervent supporter of Israel, but the Israeli diplomats are a dismal failure in representing Israel abroad. Please elect Netanyahu, if not as PM, at least as your only spokesman, and please muzzle everybody else -- Israeli diplomats simply cause too much damage any time they open their mouths in front of the microphone or camera. Isn’t it high time to remind them that their job is not to go to the parties, shopping and find themselves foreign wives, but to represent their country’s interests abroad and select appropriate, well spoken and well prepared people to appear on foreign television to argue for israel?

I think American media isn't all that biased when it comes to Israel, but my complaint is that the coverage is so incomplete and U.S.-centric. It's hard to get information about what is really going on. (That's why I'm reading Ynet and other foreign media.) Also, can you imagine the American response if thugs in Mexico were to fire rockets into towns in Texas, Arizona, and California? We should expect no different from Israel. To all Israelis, I am sorry for all the violence and hatred you face from so many of your neighbors. The vast majority of Americans are behind you. We do care and you are not alone. I also care about innocent people in Lebanon and Gaza who are being affected by this, but Israel is not to blame. Israel has been provoked and must respond.
