1. Moderate Nations
Shomera ,   London   (07.16.06)
Did I really read Saudia Arabia described as being amongst the "moderate Arab nations" of Egypt, Jordan oil rich Gulf states? Has something dramatic happened that I haven't heard about ?
2. Israel govt.,listen ONLY yourself and your People!
keren ,   sao paulo   (07.16.06)
Keep doing what you know is going to be the best for Israel! Do not listen those who want to destroy you! Keep firm in THE RIGHT PATH!
3. don't listen to our enemies
moshe ,   brooklyn   (07.16.06)
all the trouble is because we try to appease to our enemies and to our "friends" not doing the right thing. The only right thing and theonly detterence is when you take the offense RIGHT AWAY and you something that is beyond the expectrations of the enemiy. Bombing bridges and infrafstructure, as much as it is painful to the enemy does not take the element of schock and surprise as a retalization for a balnk attack on civilians. The whole problem began with Oslo, Wye, Acceptance Road map, Disengagement and expulsion: they were all concessions without anything in return. And here we are now. Let's hope that the talk of perets shemrets will materialize into action.
4. How Clever
T. A. Adams ,   Right Here   (07.16.06)
Egypt's role in this particular war on Israel is to play the moderate so they can keep a leash on Israel's might?
5. EGYPTIAN STATE-CONTROLLED paper PRAISED TEL AVIV BOMBING
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (07.16.06)
of innocents. Israel gave Egypt the Sinai in exchange for a worthless piece of paper - a peace agreement. The bloody "peace" that Egypt gives Israel: YNETNEWS (04.18.06, 07:51) Tel Aviv attack. 'There will be more' Egyptian paper praises Tel Aviv bombing State-controlled Al Gomhuria calls Monday's suicide bombing 'sacrificial, martyrdom attack,' warns more attacks to follow Associated Press An Egyptian state-controlled newspaper praised Monday's suicide attack in Tel Aviv, which killed nine people and wounded dozens, calling it an act of sacrifice and martyrdom. http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3241041,00.html The deployment of Egypt's military on Israel's border at the invitation of Israeli leaders is astonishing and treasonous. M.K. Steinitz stated: Egyptian military "has been training for war against Israel for the past 10 years." In 2004, U.S. Congressman Tom Lantos in the House International Relations Committee, warned Egypt was building up its military in preparation for a future war with Israel. Egypt receives from the U.S. $1.7 billion dollars in aid annually.
6. No Somera.. nothing has changed
T. A. Adams ,   Right Here   (07.16.06)
Don't let their moderate veil fool you. The mullahs in Egypt, Jordon, and Saudi Arabia are wetting their pants with giddiness over all of this and their mouthpiece governments are only speaking “moderation” because they know what the G-8 and UN want to hear. I personally would like to see how much money was suddenly funneled from Egypt, Jordon, and Saudi Arabia to Damascus and Tehran in the past few weeks/months. Only then could we get a true picture of how involved they actually are in this most recent attempt to “wipe Israel off the map”.
7. Alan (SA )advice to Mr Mubarak!
Alan ,   SA   (07.16.06)
Mr President, You saw how Iranian Silkworm Missiles are being used for the 1st time in the Mediterranean Sea by Shia Islamofascists. The Iranians are of course busy developing Atomic bombs. It is a matter of time before "Allah wants it " that these nutters put Atomic warheads on something like those Silkworm North Korean Missiles . Then under the supervision of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards one day these loaded Missiles will be moved to their equally mad Pal allies in GAZA Palestinian Strip and at a suitable occassion they will be fired off at the SUEZ CANAL for some or other reason that Allah wants. It is not too far I think from Rafah to Suez Canal . Also EU Countries . Romans called MED SEA the Mare Nostrum.(our sea). Today it is also the Iranian Sea unless you do something about it . Also they can block the Canal by sinking Ships there even from US 6th Fleet or even Charles de Gaulle AC. Stop your kneejerk Anti Israel Rhetoric and handle this matter professionaly while still time. Kind Regards from Alan SA
8. Arabs to Iran: F&**& Off!
Steve ,   Hoboken USA   (07.16.06)
"They (the Iranians) want to attend the Arab foreign ministers meeting..." The Arabs are counting on Hibullah defeat and expulsion in Lebanon. It is a rare moment in history, that Israel and the Arab states want th e same goal! Forget the rhetoric - they know civilians casualties can't be avoided. Syria is in bad graces with its neighbors and is the sewer of the middle east.

14. PROPHECY
BORUCH HOFFINGER ,   BROOKLYN NY   (07.16.06)
Seems like this is prophecy coming true as predicted in Yalkut Shemoni, Daniel, etc. In the last days before Moshiach the last thorn in the side of Israel will be Ishmael. He will be defeated mightily and then Moshiach will come.
15. mubarak
jj ,   montreal, canada   (07.16.06)
Don't fool yourselves. This is much biger than Israel, Gaza and Hezbolla. The Arab countries are affraid of the shia led by Iran, Taking over their countries. Think jihadists, brother hood etc. All these countries are either sunni or wahabi. This war is part and parcel of the global jihad against the west and any one who doesn't beive as they do. Every one should wake up. As goes Israel so goes the world.
16. Ehud Barak made a great point
Ibrahim ,   S. Arabia   (07.16.06)
In his interview to Fox News he said: "How can the G-8 expect that N. Korea or Iran will adide by UN resolutions, if they can't enforce a small thing like Res. 1559 calling for deployment Of Lebanese Army to border with Israel and disarming of Hizbullah?".

19. Mubarak
Brod ,   USA   (07.17.06)
Israel should not listen to Mubarak or any Arab leaders trying to meddle in Israel internal affairs and military operation. It is none of their business. The IDF should be deployed in Lebonon to sweep out the terrorist rocket hideouts and the the terrorists. This is the only effective way to decimate them. So long as the terrorists have rockets in their arsenal, they pose an existential threat to Israel. In order to bring about normalcy and security in the region Israel has to root them out. Israel should also confront those terrorist states that supplied those lethal rockets to Hezbollah and Hamas. So long as terrorist states and terrorists exist in the region, the conflict in the region will be unending.
20. Cease Fire
lynne ,   austin, texas usa   (07.17.06)
I am a strong supporter of Israel, and I agree that terrorism must be stopped. I would urge Arab nations to resolve this issue as soon as possible and to take every precaution to spare the Lebanese people who are caught in the middle of this. I'm all for attacking Hezbollah targets, but worry about the good people in Lebanon and Gaza who have no say in these political matters and who may be accidently harmed.
21. Hamas and Hezbolla today's Amalek
Ken ,   Oakland CA   (07.17.06)
Devorim (Deuteronomy) 25 gives G-d's advice and orders as to what to do "erase the memory of Amalek from under the heavens" (hamche et zacher Amalek metachat ha shamayim" It's time for Isreal to hear and obey
22. Middle East Situation
Otinel C. Iancu ,   California, USA   (07.17.06)
All human beings are equal, and suffering affects all equally - Israelies and Arabs. However, when love and respect is replaced by hate and spirit of superiority or nationalism, Humans become worse than animals. I suggest a solution for those involved - eliminate pride, try to inspire trust and be worthy of it, and let only the words solve all the problems, never touchilg a stone, knife, or any weapon. Hard? Yes. But not for all who love God and His Creation. If you can't do that, stop taking the name of God in vain, for no murderer has the right to claim a relationship with the God of peace.
23. RE: #20 Lynn
T. A. Adams ,   Right Here   (07.17.06)
"... and who may be accidently harmed" It's no accident. Hamas and Hezbollah are deliberately using these people as shields and fodder so when they are killed, they can then hold them up in front of the world and declare Israel the murderer of innocent people. They don’t care how many people in Lebanon get killed and have deliberately stopped many from leaving the area of fighting after Israel warned them to go to safer locations. The only reason Hezbollah could have for preventing them from leaving is that they want more of them to get killed. We have heard a great deal about the wall that Israel built to prevent terrorists from entering their cities from the Gaza Strip, but what we don't hear about is the wall that Egypt built to keep the Arab-Palestinians blocked inside the Gaza Strip. You can’t go to an Egyptian news site without reading something about how Israel is slaughtering the Arab-Palestinians. These are their Muslim brothers so why would the Egyptians want to block off their only route of escape? Here again, they are being used as fodder, to gain international sympathy and foment hatred toward Israel.
24. 20 lynne: Have you ever heard about Human Shields ?
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (07.17.06)
It is their cowardess behavior that gets mostly others blown along with them - they intentionally use their own children and women as shields That's sadly enough the Arab mentallity - they do the same everwhere in their society - have it always done and will always do it For them Life is cheap sadly enough Mothers Express Joy at son’s Death for Allah http://www.pmw.org.il/tv%20part4.html http://www.memri.org/bin/articles.cgi?Page=archives&Area=sd&ID=SP81904 http://www.pmw.org.il/tv%20part10.html Muslim Terrorists Celebrate Death Of Jews & Christians http://www.standingwithisrael.org/synapse/homepage/view.cfm?Edit_id=36&website=standingwithisrael.org
