2. Swap the 1000 demonstrators for the 3 Soldiers
Alan ,   Sa   (07.16.06)
3. How sad and delusional they are
Nannette ,   London, UK   (07.16.06)
They want to make peace with people who are sworn to genocide. These are the same type of people who would have appeased Hitler, which some Jews did in 1938. If they have such compassion for the enemy, and none for their own people, then they should live in Gaza, Lebanon or Syria.
4. unbelievable
mish ,   tlv   (07.16.06)
you people are unbelieveable. we are at war. now is not a time for you to be bickering... as i write this we are having missles attacking our civilians from the north and the south. once again we might have another fight on our hands for our right to exist. and what do you ungrateful idiot left wingers do now ... instead of flying a flag to show you are proud to be an israeli.. to show the world you support your country... you bicker and fight and talk politics at a time like this... shame on you... you should be arrested for treason
5. Losers!
linda   (07.16.06)
Shame on you! People lose there life and fight fot you! Go and live at the border and if not SHUT UP!
6. Imbecils!!!
Dani ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (07.16.06)
It must be to much drugs on their blood... I can't find another explanation!
7. self-loathing suicidal tendencies
bob ,   potomac md usa   (07.16.06)
If the Arabs won, they would kill you just as much as anyone else.
8. 'Israel is overreacting'
Ken ,   SA   (07.16.06)
The definition of a "disproportionate" response is a subjective one. The question that could be asked of any other country in the world is simply: "What would you do in the same situation?" When protecting its citizens, exercising the right to self-defense and responding to missile attacks over a recognized border, most countries would respond in a similar manner. After all, how many Israelis need to die before the world believes that Israeli responses are proportionate?
9. What do they want?????
keren ,   sao paulo   (07.16.06)
I would like to listen the long term view these people have about Israel. I would like to understand what Israel do they want or if they even want Israel.
10. idiots
nelson last ,   usa   (07.16.06)
with jews like this, israel doesn't need enemies.
11. Suicidal Jews
Jon   (07.17.06)
If these Jews were in charge the land of Israel would swiftly come to an end. The Arabs would be laughing as they shot these idiot, infidel, hippies in the head. Everyone of those demonstrators deserves a Darwin award. Hold talks with terrorists? The Israeli government did that already, remember? That's how you got a Palestinian army in Gaza holding Shalit hostage and daily rocket attacks. Morons. You are all traitors.
12. Israel is not bombing a whole country....
Andy   (07.16.06)
it is cutting off the life lines from Tehran, through Demascus and to the tail of the snake. Get a grip people.
13. fifth column helps hezbollah
Marcel ,   Florida   (07.16.06)
They expose themselves for what they are . restraint and negotiations have never worked with islamic terrorist groups . The dying whimper and protest of the fifth column in Israel is barely heard as they slither off into the night of their failed terrorist suppporting agenda. Hezbollah only understands brute force and that is what is being served up in spite of leftist attempts to save their terrorists rear end's
14. Throw these mofos in jail!!
Michael Steiner   (07.16.06)
Israel is at war--a war it didn't start through will or negligence. The sheer idiocy of these protesters is mind-boggling but they need to be detained until the hostilities are over because sedition is very dangerous. Alternatively, let the residents of S'derot, Kheifa and a few other choice places have a "heart-to-heart" with them. ;-)
15. negotiation = capitulation
Mario ,   Hamilton, Ontario   (07.17.06)
Peace with the arabs can be achieved only through overwelming superior fire power. Burn the whole lot , no mercy. Once and for all, give war a chance! Death to Amalek and their cronies.
16. They Should Drop These Demonstrators on Hezbollah
Rajah ,   Toronto, Canada   (07.17.06)
They should "dumb bombs" on Hezbollah. Maybe these idiots can then kiss Hezbollah's asses and distract them from their Iranian masters for a while.
17. go Israel
naftali ,   Somewhere   (07.16.06)
In an environment of war protesting without a permit is not exceptable, free speech notwithstanding. "a nation who chooses security over freedom deserves neither" who ever said that did not live in Israel in an age of missles and nukes. And if he did, we choose Life and let the chips fall where they may, despite what he thinks we deserve.Go Jews protect Jewish life. Listen to the Military. This is Torah law!
18. Now we know who's ranging Hizballah so efficiently.
Caligula's Horse ,   Solomon's Stables   (07.16.06)
19. trade them for the 3 hostages
(07.16.06)
20. trade them for the 3 hostages
(07.16.06)
21. Israel can not win
Daniel ,   North tel Aviv   (07.17.06)
The attack on lebanon will make Hizbulla even more popular. People there will blame israel not Hizbulla for the murdered civilians and will make them more and more radical. As in iraq, Gaza,..etc these organisations can not be defeated by military action, it is an illusion which will cost thousands of lives on both sides. Only way is to negotiate, why are holding hundreds of lebanese prisoners any way, let them go and end this crisis before it is too late. Daniel, The jew with a conscience
22. NO NEGOTIATION WITH TERROR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AVINU   (07.17.06)
LEFTIST ? WHY THAT WEAKNESS ?? WHY THEY WORRIED ABOUT LEBANON ???? LEBANON NOT WORRIED ABOUT ISRAEL !!!!!!! SHALL BE NOT RIGHT NOR LEFT BUT ONE UNITED ISRAEL STRONG ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
23. Although I disagree with the protesters
J ,   Newcastle   (07.16.06)
it's good to see that Israel remains a democracy and a country of freedoms even in the middle of a war against those people who happily murder or enslave in dhimmitude all Jews, includding the peaceniks now protesting.
24. these people should be in straightjackets ..
michael ,   tel aviv & london   (07.16.06)
have a little chat and sort things out with Hamas and Hezbollah .. How can people so out of touch with reality be allowed out of hospital. CNN poll 82% in favor of Israel's actions. G8 in favor. And EVEN France and many Arab countries agree that Hezbollah needs to dismantled. And Hamas - well nobody's giving them in real money are they.
25. Are they retarded or just Jew haters?
Daniel ,   The war Zone   (07.16.06)
These are the same fools who gave away there lunch money every day to the local school bully. They are just what the Hamas and Hizballa pray for. Shame on you. You are the worst of us!
26. back at the ranch
meanwhile   (07.17.06)
1000 of the most stupid people in israel got together.... go figure
27. everybody! relax, they are on drugs
they aren't real ,   Israelian people   (07.17.06)
they are the only ones who think that. as PM Ehud olmert said: "Israel will not negotiate with terroists".
28. Left-wing rally
Jennifer Teff ,   Nahariya Israel   (07.16.06)
OK geniuses: it isn't enough to protest against the Israeli reaction - not this time. What Israeli reaction do you propose? Make nice with Nasralla by just releasing the Hamas/ Hezbollah prisoners (and pray that they don't try again to kill a Jew or Israeli) and hope that Nasralla is so impressed with our sweetness that he just release the kidnapped soldiers? That isn't what he did last time. By the way, do any of these bleeding heart protesters live in towns that are being bombed by Hezbollah?
29. Demonstrators Stand Up
Wilma Lobstertree ,   Miami   (07.17.06)
See you all at the gay pride parade in Jerusalem.
30. awful, but...
dl ,   london, uk   (07.17.06)
... just demonstrates israel is a democracy: any other country in the world going through a serious crisis would have banned such a protest and come down hard on anyone carrying out such a thing... Thank G-d Israel is a democracy... unlike Syria and Iran who these guys would evidently like to be ruled by.
