Nassralla   (07.16.06)
It's a missile after my @ss
2. News delayed
Andrey ,   Canada   (07.16.06)
Unfortunately, YNet delays news. I always read it first either on Russian "lenta's" or in Google. Is it because Israeli pres is slopy or because of totalitarian nature of Israeli establishment?
3. Be Strong Israel - you are fighting Islamic terror....
Andy   (07.16.06)
from Tehran, through Damascus, Beirut and into Israel. This is a huge confrontation between Islamic terror and Western Judeo-Christian freedom. Even those in the Arab world who can't say so out loud know this. Israel can, must and will win, and America is with you. All the nonesense about Israel targeting civilians is bullshit, although I do believe many Lebanese are caught in the middle - but hopefully the result will be that they won't have to tolerate these monsters in their midst forever.
4. He's going too far..
Mike   (07.16.06)
Now he's trying to hit the Holy City Of Nazerat?! He might hit the Church of the Annunciation there and then piss off the Christian world as well.. Someone need to put this crazed dog out of his misery..
5.  Keep both eyes to the East
Marcel ,   Florida   (07.16.06)
If the war doesn't escalate into something larger and more regional... Look east towards Iran and ask yourself seriously if it will not escalate ? Mad man Amadinejad has a big ego and great plans and Mhadi must have his global chaos to make his grand entrance . Do you really think an Islamic madman would miss this opportunity, especially when he has two other madmen to help him out and foreign Lebanese soil to mess up first ? These devils know what they are doing ,but they don't know the surprise they are in for when they stand before the judgment seat of the Creator and find out that He is Jewish . Can you imaging the look on their face
6. Leave the damn airport alone already!!
Michael Steiner   (07.16.06)
The is (or should be) nothing left to bomb there anymore! Go after someprime Khizbolah ass. If that means levelling Beirut, so be it Terrorist Khizbolah vermin must be eradicated and vanquished completely. What I wouldn't give to be in Tzaha"l right now...
7. Andrey # 2
Ivry   (07.17.06)
You said Totalitarian?....and a Russian News agency..Russia perfected totalitarism, and practices it today with Putin. As for google, well, their cavorting with the brital totalitarian government of China, surpressing free speach/choice on the internet in China. I suggest you check your computer, and bark up the right tree.
8. to #2
Jennifer Teff ,   Nahariya Israel   (07.17.06)
Andrey, What was that you wrote - "...Israeli pres is slopy ..." The Israeli press is not nearly as sloppy as your spelling (you say that you are Canadian!?). Why don't you come and visit to see how totalitarian we, the Israeli establishment, is. You would then know that the only free Arabs in the entire Middle East live right here. NONE of them ever wanted to live in the Palestinan Authority even when it was controlled by the totalitarian dictator Arafat.
9. Israel humiliated in gaza & in the north go crazy
Ayman ,   Jenin   (07.17.06)
10. What an arrogant state that do not have any morals

11. Hezbollah Targeting
Simon ,   London UK   (07.17.06)
To my fellow Jews in Israel my thoughts and prayers are with you. Like so many times in history you stand alone. You alone are having to fight the conflict of the democratic Judeo Christain World against the fundermentalist religion of war. A religion whos aim is to destroy everything the West believes in. A religion that finds the existence of Judaism and Christianity to difficult to bare hence its desire to destroy.
12. Hey Andrey
Caligula's Horse ,   Solomon's Stables   (07.17.06)
I wouldnt be talking about "Totalitarian nature" being from Russia and all, and no, this is because Ynet translators are lazy, if you want to get technical.
13. so close
Arwen ,   Nazareth   (07.17.06)

14. Nasty's rockets
Chrisona ,   Chicago.IL   (07.17.06)
It pains me greatly to think of this pleasant country being defaced by Nastyrallah's rockets. I wonder how many he has. And I wonder how long it is going to take him to realize that he is the only one out on the limb. When he falls, he'll go alone. Neither the Syrian nor the Iranian will lift a finger to help him. I suppose Israel will have to take on them too eventually.
15. to #9 don't worry we haven't forgot you the terroists
in the west bank ,   and gaza   (07.17.06)
16. RE: #4 - Mike
T. A. Adams ,   Right Here   (07.17.06)
The Christian world (not to be confused with Catholics) is already there. We pray for and will support Israel in this war in any way we can. May God protect Israel !!
17. #2 don't be so naive
Vorax   (07.17.06)
do you really expect Israeli news agency to be first in reporting the details of military actions?
18. Our friends Jason White and Yakov Shani,
keren ,   sao paulo   (07.17.06)
give us a hello.
19. RE: #11 - Simon
T. A. Adams ,   Right Here   (07.17.06)
Israel has never been alone my friend. God will protect Israel. I know too that although it doesn't often set well with the Jewish people, a great many Americans (primarily us Christians) are pressuring our government to offer anything Israel needs to fight and win this latest attempt by the Arab world to “wipe Israel off the map”. We will NOT let that happen. I wish personally that there was more I could do, but know that I am praying constantly for Israel.
20. RE: 14 - Chrisona
T. A. Adams ,   Right Here   (07.17.06)
You said: "Neither the Syrian nor the Iranian will lift a finger to help him." Who do you think put him there? They did and they've armed him and support him in every way. Should Nastyrallah fall, Iran and/or Syria will just replace him with another lunatice, since they seem to have a never ending supply of them, or they will go to the next phase and start fighting this war from Syria proper.
21. To # 11 & Israel you are not alone
Ruth ,   Ontario, Canada   (07.17.06)
Thanks for your comment Simon, you must be a believer. I would like to point out though that it may seem like Israel is all alone in this war but the reality is Israel is never alone. The God of Israel is fighting for His land and will prevail. Not to mention the millions of believers worldwide who are standing with Israel and praying for her safety and well being. So Take comfort all you people of Israel, your God reigns, He is your hidingplace and your victory. We love you dearly.
22. so stupid
fadi ,   beyruth lebanon   (07.17.06)
I beleive also that the creator Jesus and he's christian. Anyhow, you dont have any right to kill the civilians in lebanon, the babies, the kids and all the innocents because Hezbolah is bad. at least you dont show that you are different. Oh yes!!! you are so different, you are much more criminel and much more racist....
23. steiner shedding his arabness?

25. GREETINGS FROM AUSTRALIA
Art ,   Sydney Australia   (07.17.06)
Gd morning our dear brothers and sisters (its morning in Australia). We hope and pray that there have been no more casualties and we send our sympathy to the bereaved. Whilst we are a long way away, our hearts and souls are with you in your dark hours. Hundreds rallied in Sydney yesterday to support our brothers and sisters in Israel. Stand firm. EVIL WILL NOT TRIUMPH.
26. It's the East Baby
Dave Levi ,   Burbank. USA   (07.17.06)
Let's face it rocket fire from Lebanon will cause Israel to bleed, and major interruptions..and occasional deaths. The same applies to the Strip, with it's Kassams. But we should be looking to the East..not Iraq per se (that's moot right now), but Iran Syria and Jordan. If this conflict contineus a few more days, and Israel pounds Hezbollah, Iran and Syria must make their moves. So far they haven't except for a few hundred Revolutionary Guards in Lebanon. If Syria gets involved, all hell will break out. In that scenario, Israel must waste Syrias and Irans military, while they are "relatively" week, and I use that word carefully. Iran and Syria combined have over 2m men under arms. And those suicide bombers, remember?
27. Marcel #5- witness their intro to the Jewish King
Robert ,   california   (07.17.06)
Hopefully it won't be too hard to refrain from giggling.
28. #16 - Thanks for showing your bigotry.
Jay   (07.17.06)
The Protestant pseudo-Christians who blindly support Israel should be more widely exposed as the KKK members they are.
29. This is WAR
Jonathan ,   East Coast, USA   (07.17.06)
I am hopeful that Israel actually seeks and finds these terrorists, puts an end to their blasphemy, and allows the people within her borders to not be bothered by these rockets which are aimed directly at her cities. Let's say this much - this is not a "Mid East Turmoi," this is "WAR." Let's step it up a notch and escalate the operation to the point that the Hizbollah is actually impacted - somehow - someway - and we say together - GOD PLEASE HELP ISRAEL PUT AN END TO THIS MISERY THAT THE HIZBOLLAH IS CAUSING HER AND THE PEOPLE WITHIN HER BORDERS. We stand by you, O Israel, Land of the Jews. Just as the Hizbollah has surprises up its sleeves, I am hopeful that the Israeli Military has its own surprises for the Hizbollah! and again say Together: GOD BLESS THE LAND OF ISRAEL, AMEN.
30. What is going on?
Vorax   (07.17.06)
It looks like Israeli plan is to wait until hz shoot all their rockets at pre-aimed targets, covering all Israel?! IDF had already 4 blunders - in Gaza, then the border incident itself, then with Meron observation station, and with corvet struck by missile. Now it looks like they don't go to South Lebanon to finish the job simply because they AFRAID??!! Civilians pay by their lifes each day. What a shame!!
