1. Olmert 06 think he is Sharon 1982
One Sol. ,   Jerusalem   (07.17.06)
Poor Olmert thought he can conquer Lebanon as his master "Sharon" did in 1982 but he made a big mistake that will get him back to Jerusalem not as a mayor but as a garbage collector in the East side of Jerusalem with his kebbah on his head. I will be sending him a bigger hat to protect him from the tammuz sun.
2. They will negotiate after all!!!
Ron   (07.17.06)
What these idiots are doing is just targeting the infrastructure and building, exactly as what they've done in GAZA. They think that these action would undermine Hamsa or Hezb-allah but to the contrary, these action are rapidly increase the reputation of the two plaper parties.Right now all Gaza and the West Bank are suporting Hamas position against Israel and Israel -likes or dislikes- ust negotiate to free the soliders and Nasrallah will get what he says and Israel will get some garbage....
3. Re: the rockets red glare, STOP!
Steve ,   USA   (07.17.06)
#1 You are wrong. Olmert is not Sharon, Sharon was a commander in army, Olmert did not have that experience, which makes things much tougher for him. May Israel be successful in bringing all three soldiers home safely. May the USA send in their manpower to stop this 'war' . And, may we all pray that no more threats and no more deaths occur. This world is exploding now, where will it end? Maybe time for Olmert and MK's to declare war officially? Maybe time for U.S. to pull back from Iraq and demolish Hezbolleh instead. The Shiites can wait.
4. #2 and #1
(07.17.06)
what do you think the government is doing all day? playing cards and paint pictures? there are xxxx high qualified people working for the president figuring out the best possible scenario to accomplish whatever goal they have. and to #1, let me tell you that ur a complete arrogant idiot, coming here judging the same government that feeds and protects you. go get a job, freak
5. Olmert just keeps increasing the price.
Jay   (07.17.06)
Does the moron really think that his foolish war is going to spur the captors to release the soldiers?

Yeah high # of qualified garbage collector advisors like you from Russia and Poland. I heard one of Olmert’s advisors a Jew Shepard just came from Ethiopia
7. isreals attack on lebenon
(07.17.06)
I belive that the situation in the middle east is so one sided with the media coverage. The israles alwys make themselves the victims. i think that the action taken against Lebenon is ridicoulsly over blown out of porportion. they are willing to ruine a whole country over a couple of soilders, this might sound cold but lets be real. no one is saying that what the israle goverment is doing is wrong because of fear of offending the israle people,
8. #7 forgot something
Auri ,   Jerusalem   (07.17.06)
Israel doesn't make itself the victim, but is subject to existential Islamic threats. By their own admission, Palestinians define "occupation" not only as Gaza and the West Bank, rather to every inch of the State of Israel. The "couple of soldiers" might have been my brothers, and if so, I would fight with all my might to get them back. Wouldn't you do the same, or is life so cheap and unemotional to you that you wouldn't care? What you forgot #7, is that this is not just about the kidnapping of 2 soldiers . . . . what about the more than 1200 missles that have rained on Israel in the past 5 days? They all come from Lebanon, via their Iranian and Syrian proxies, the Hezbollah.
9. Israelis not Israles
Rachel ,   Jerusalem   (07.17.06)
Israel not Isreal Have you noticed how all these holy Islamic extremists can't SPELL!
10. What if...?
Igo Valuev ,   Odessa, Ukraine   (07.17.06)
Since Israel has gone on a killing spree even while it demands for the safe return of its kidnapped soldiers; what if Hizbullah and Hamas start cutting off the fingers and toes of those soldiers for each say, 10 new dead Lebanese and Palestinian civilians? Even though the situation would still be asymetrical, but at least Israelis would get to vicariously experience the gnawing pain of their actions. Just a thought...
11. Israel please destroy Hezbollah!!!
JouJou ,   Beirut,Lebanon   (07.17.06)
12. ARAB MK: 'I ADVISED PA TO KIDNAP SOLDIER'
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (07.17.06)
Treason and maliciously endangering IDF soldiers' lives by Arab MKs is allowed in Israel whilst patriotic Jews are punished and jailed and regarded as ENEMIES OF THE STATE. It is urgent that demonstrations are held outside the Knesset and outside Israeli consulates world-wide to protest that Arab MKs are allowed to commit treason - collude with the enemy - repeatedly call for intifada against Israel - and encourage global jihadist religious supremacists to kidnap IDF soldiers. And to protest the persecution and politically-motivated, unjust jailing of Jewish patriots. israelnationalnews.com Arab MK: 'I Advised PA to Kidnap Soldier' Jul 09, '06 / 13 Tammuz 5766 by Hillel Fendel Knesset Member Wasal Taha, corresponding publicly with internet surfers on the Arabic-language IslamOnline site, said he repeatedly advised PA terrorists to battle and kidnap Israeli soldiers. According to a report in Maariv newspaper on Sunday, Taha told surfers on Thursday that he repeatedly advised the PA Arabs to stop shooting and targeting civilians, and to concentrate on IDF targets... http://www.israelnn.com/news.php3?id=106857

Emily ,   USA   (07.18.06)
I would expect nothing less of the good people of Gaza and the West Bank than to support Hamas and Hezbolleh. When you have donkey dung for brains, its hard to absorb anything but the S--t those terrorists hand you. You should know by now that they are also your worst enemy. They are the ones that keep you oppressed and commit actions that don't allow you to have a better life.
