I am an American raised Jew who wants to make Aliyah now more than ever. In Vietnam they used these same rockets, Iran bought the factory that built them from the Chinese or Russians. The NVA regulars would stockpile them until they would bombard us with hundreds at a time. Our little sand bag bunkers could not withstand several direct hits at a time. Many Americans remember the destintive sound they make, it is one you can not forget no matter how hard you try. May Hashem protect his chosen peole and stop the enemies of Zion. Do you think Israel would have been in a better position today if it did not betray it's Lebanon ally, the South Lebanon Army? The SLA would still be on the border with Israel with as much right as Hizbullah and maybe even have representitives in the Lebanon parliment like Hezbullah. They would have also not let the katushas come so close. I am sure when Iran and yria saw this- how Israel betrays it's friends in Lebanon - that's when exactly when they started shipping missles to Hizbullah in Lebanon.

It is a very difficult situation we are facing at the moment, eventhough i am concerned about my Lebanese neighbours, I am very sorry for the casualties they have to suffer and i do not care muslems or christian we are only human beings and we should be able to live in peace and harmony. Lebanon was always very fragile with it's very different mixture of ethnic people Druz, Christian, Sunni, and Hizbulla. however i cannot understand why the Lebanese army cannot dismentle the ILLEGALE Army of Hizbulla. In France, most of the TV chanels report only casualties for civilians in Lebanon Why don't send the photographs, testimony of witnesses, video tapes, showing terror and pain of Israeli civilians, to the french TV chanels? Why don't ask to the dozens of french TV and newspaperts reporters present in Israel, to show honestly that Israeli civilians are also victims of this blind terror? When french officials speak about "proportional retaliation", do they want Israel to hit with Katiusha rokets the lebanon towns as Hezbolah does?

I think that we should not under estimate how much America is behind the Israeli forces. I think we should finish what we started and if it means innocent lifes...so be it. WE need, actually we all need a free democracy in Leb. and Israel is the only one to do that.
