If this is just an iranian ploy to bide time, then I would say that would have to show how much the iranian government actually cares about the people of lebanon or hizbollah for that much. If this were true, and I don't doubt it, then I would assume, that they need more time to develop there weapon, and would gladly launch that weapon at Israel, to fulfill his desire of wiping Israel off the map. And if Israel goes after syria next, and the war front in on syrian land, that would also give the iranians more time. Iran ordering Hezbollah and Hamas to attack Israel might well be a diversion tactic by Iran so that the world would not be focusing on their nuke development. While the world is focused on the current conflict between Israel and Iran's proxies-Hamas and Hezbollah, Iran is feverishly working on their nukes. Meanwhile, they managed to fool the world to think that they still would need about 3 more years before they could produce their nukes. The fact is that they may well be within days or weeks to producing their nukes. Once they have their holocaust tool, the fanatical Islamist regime of Iran would have no hesitation to using it to accomplish their evil holocaust plan on Israel as they had announced to the world. It is time Israel focuses their eyes on the larger threat to their national security and sovereignity. They should focus their eyes on Iran and Syria who have ICBMs and WMDs.

Well, you don't need to be a genius to figure out that Iran is the leading beneficiary of this situation, in which innocent Israeli and Lebanese civilians are killed everyday. Bottom line Israel must take this opportunity and secure its border once for all. As more bits of information gradually emerge out of Iran over the years and are pieced together you begin to get a picture of what they may be up to and the recent Hezbollah attacks are merely a foretaste unless this clearly badly calculated war with Israel has made them stop and think. Irans ambitions are not merely regional but global. Iran has moved for years for a sphere of influence stretching from Iran through Shia Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Palestine and Israel. This sphere of influence to develop into part of the Iranian Empire that would also include Bahrein, Kuwait, UAR and possibly even S Arabia. Its aquisition of nuclear arms is not designed to be used on Israel necessarily where fall out to its Arab neighbours and Iran would be significant. The arms would be used as a veiled threat to the US, Canada, EU, Japan, Australia and Russia to promote their demands, exact vast political and economic prices and might even be used by proxy terrorists as a last resort. Some in Iran even see nuclear arms as being the key to a sharia style global domination! This may sound far fetched and almost lunatic but you could argue Iran is run by lunatics, not answerable to anyone, who are inept and unable to govern other than by fear and favour and see world violence, suffering and mayhem whilst they are safely bunkered as their religious calling. There is much skepticism now about Irans delaying tactics with regard to negotiations on enrichment. Word coming out of Iran is that they may be playing for time in advance of an underground weapons test in Iran in August or September 06. Not a weapon they have developed but one either bought or smuggled out of N Korea or Pakistan. We shall have to wait and see…..
