For playing the way you did, and for going far in that tournament. Baseball is my favorite sport. Good luck in any of your future games.

3. What a wonderful story..
Connie ,   USA   (07.23.06)
It reminds me of my three boys. I put them in Little League so they could make new friends. My oldest is in the Marines. Next to youngest will graduate next year. My youngest son will be a sophmore and is thinking of going into the Navy. Parents, you'll be glad you did. You'll be so proud when he makes his first home run or catch the ball for the final out. Have fun little guys. Play your best.
4. Israel took the bronze medal!

For everyone's information, Israel took the bronze medal in this competition, the best Israel has ever done. See http://tinyurl.com/j3gc3 .
5. Forget Soccer, Israel!
Jon ,   USA   (07.24.06)
Baseball is a great sport, freely associated with Israel's best friend . As well as more and more other countries. The success of these unspoiled youngsters -- and commitment-- shows what natural ability and the type of Israeli focus can accomplsh in baseball. The fact that these dedicated kids I read from the story traveled through the night and were still energetic enough and focused enough to win has literally stayed with me since I first read this a few days ago. How emblamatic this story is... of other successes Israel has had despite barriers and obstacles, just because of its unspoiled, dedicated historical nature. How wonderful the kids are. How worthy they are to have success and what a nice inspiration this is for more and more baseball in Israel! Two big loves of mine. This story ought to be shouted out. These kids are truly heros. A very happy cultural story at this most difficult time.
