I agree with the organisers of this event that it should be postponed for safety and security reasons. Funnily enough, the religious right in Israel seem to have no no moral nor religious worries about killing hundreds of innocent people in Lebanon and generally having appalling foreign policy. If anyone accuses me of being anti Semitic then you are deeply mistaken. I just do not agree with Israel's indiscriminate murderous methods. As for Gay Pride, well you should be proud that you are trying to spread a message of love and tolerance for all people, not killing innocents. Regarding gay rights in particular, there was a time when New York police could and did arrest gay bar patrons on a whim. At that time, would you have said that New York would never welcome gay bars and their patrons? The fact is there is nothing very original about Open House's tactics; they are by-the-book.
