The revelation by Hizballah that Israel's response was a surprise, that you didn't expect such a forceful assertion of a state's right to defend itself...was that it, Sayyed? First let me say I am not a Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, or Christian. I am a Native American. There is no excuse for terrorism. How can these so-called "religious Shiite Muslims" who call themselves Hamas or Hezbollah dare to term what they are doing as a "resistance movement"? How can they claim what they are doing as a religious act? These terrorist leaders claim that they form these "resistance movements" to give dignity for "their people." What is dignity? Strapping bombs to their children and wives while they watch them kill themselves; placing their rockets in civilian homes and mosques knowing the people living there will be killed; blockading innocent Lebanese so they cannot get out of the firing zone; killing UN workers trying to bring food to the people; laughing while they see innocent civilians killed; calling for the extermination of an entire race of people; all while they themselves sacrifice nothing, smiling as they send others to their death while they gain more power. Is this dignity for "their people"? I think not. This is not a "resistance movement." Many more people face much more oppression in the world than these cowardice terrorists who prefer to let others die for the power they seek. What about the starving in Ethiopia and other parts of Africa, the victims of the Rwandan genocide, the victims of Hitler in WWII, the people of the Civil Rights movement, those opressed by slavery, the Native Americans... I could go on... all of these people lived and died with dignity because they never resorted to terrorism as a means of "solving their problems." I'm tired of hearing everyone blame everyone else but the terrorists for the death of all the innocent. It's about time we have a united force against them- including muslims, jews, christians, buddhists, etc. These terrorists have mastered the idea of "conquer and divide." These terrorists are not a peaceful people and they do not want peace. They only survive because they have learned all of the dirty tactics to not only divide the people in the middle east, but to divide all the people around the world. More than half the world has fallen for this deadly trap. As a result, they know there is no united force against them and that is how they are able to conquer. They want power for themselves and that is all they want. To those of you that think it is just a regional middle east problem- you are wrong. Terrorist groups have begun to unite in the middle east and it's only a matter of time before they begin to unite with other terrorist groups in other regions. It is all for power. They would be happy to take over the world, making everyone scared, running for their lives. In the end, will we still be falling for their lies? Well, none of us will be around to show otherwise. In closing, I say- when was the last time we gave a serial killer an excuse for killing innocent people because he was poor or oppressed? Stop giving these terrorists excuses. Stop adding to their power by falling for their lies. It's about time we all unite as a force against them. If we don't act in this manner, we may have another Hitler on our hands....afterall he too termed his actions as a "resistance movement."
