There is no explanation for Egypt's massive build up of weaponry over the past few years other than its intention to attack Israel at some future date. It should be noted that a lot of this weaponry has been supplied by the USA.

Mubarak may be a dictator in his own country (hey, that's the way things go in Arab countries!) , but he is also and extremely wily politician. He knows that his army cannot defeat the IDF; he knows that his country pockets millions of dollars from Israeli tourism to the Sinai each year and therefore he has kept the peace accord for many years. Why would he stick his head out for Hezbollah? He would do so only if he feels that he has something to gain.

I agree that President Mubarak is wise. In peace, much can be accomplished for people. I hope that the Egyptian people do not hate the Israelis, even though there are differences in perspectives. I do hope that the Egyptians and Israelis will continue to show the respect and compassion for each other that is so vital for peace and mutual support. Garbage! I have a Palestinina friend, and as I understand it, most Arabs are not much more fond of the Palestininas than they are of the Jews (a little but not much!). So... I'm under the opinion that many countries out there are making as much trouble as possible with the hope that the Jews and Palestinians will wipe each other out

All Arab countries can take Palestinians as their citizens but they will not and i m sure abt this .And the only reason for this is simple when all Palestinians are gone there will be no reason for arab governments to keep up this Israel issue as a core one and i do think in real the Arab governments use this as an excuse to exploit the citizens. No one wants to solve the problems of middle east in real , all can just blame and all can keep just hate ... all can fight in the name of freedom and resistance. Peace process was all fake and no one really wants solutions. Keep on fighting in the name of religion , freedom , resistance and pride .Humanity is paying the price from both sides now .
