I just want the Israelies to know that the majority in lebanon doest not support at all what hezbolah is doing, they took the whole country as a hostage, and since the poor lebanese army is not armed enough by the USA, they cannot open their mouth, as u've seen how hozbollah are so powerful. so how the hell u expcet the poeple of lebanon and the christians and army to speak against hezbollah, we'll be blasted!!!
2. ASSASINATION
DACON9   (07.26.06)
ISRAEL MUST STOP RESTRAINTS. ISRAEL CANNOT WIN THE WORLD OPINION AND THE GROUND WAR AT SAME TIME.
3. To Lebanon
Abigail Silverstein ,   Netanya, Israel   (07.26.06)
I also just want the people of Lebanon as well as our other peace-loving Arab neighbors that not all of us are crazy, right-winged Israelis wishing to annihilate all Arabs. I'm sorry for all the destruction on both sides. Let's give peace a chance.

Michael ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (07.26.06)
Your comments is very right... We are fighting since 15 days and still we don't see the end... I hope the UN and international community will take strong mesure against Hezbollah and talk with one voice so that terrorist group will collapse hopefully very soon for the benefits of all the people who want peace in our region, israelis and Lebanese alike...
7. To #1
Haifa, Israel   (07.26.06)
The "poor" Lebanese army is pro Hezbulla !!! Too bad your own army cannot protect you. I know you live under the Hezbulla's terror and I feel for your people being caught in the middle of this conflict! Take care, have to run to the shelter...
8. #3
Chadi ,   Beirut, Lebanon   (07.26.06)
Believe me, we r sick of all this, just as we managed to get the syrians out of lebanon, now look what happened, Iran took over. The Lebanese poeple is a highly educated western oriented democratic one, but some heavily armed iranian influenced thugs insists on taking us back to the stone age. If it was left to the majority of poeple in lebanon with any syrian/iranian intervention, we would have been, and since long ago, in peace with the Israelies
9. STOP WAR NOW!
Ehud ,   Hiroshima, JAPAN   (07.26.06)
STOP WAR NOW! We should be allowed to live peacefully with Lebanese people. They are the best people in the arab countires. it is a shame that we are pushing all of them against us. STOP WAR NOW! STOP WAR NOW!
10. #7
Chadi ,   Beirut, Lebanon   (07.26.06)
Yes indeed to bad our army cannot protect its nation, but where ur wrong is when u say they r pro-hezbollah. the army my friend in 1990 was fighting against Syria, and the USA along with Israel, decided to neutralise it! u believe this? after that blow inflicted by Syria, our army has never been the same.
11. Chadi #1.I am very sorry for the people.

We are not prepared to sacrifice our people for the sake of world opinion, nor for your beautiful opinion. During the Holocaust the world Opinion has not served us a lot, but costs us 6 million souls.

jj ,   montreal canada   (07.26.06)
The UN forces on the Lebanese border have been aiding and abetting Hezbolah for years. They allowed Hezbolah units Next to their post. What good are they when the whole UN OIC is against Israel.
15. from jew in the world to chadi
ilan   (07.26.06)
i want to say how terrible i feel about the suffering of the lebanese people. i wish israel had simply hit syria instead of lebanon. i hope that after this lebanon will accept money from jews around the world to rebuild the country and no more war in lebanon. israel is in a terrible position which happened because the world, the UN and israel ignored the hizbollah buildup for the past 6 years. SHAME on UNIFIL. SHAME on Israel. SHAME on IRAN the new genocidal nazi's of the world. i hope that your reactors get nuked.
16. PEACE
Michal ,   Jerusalem   (07.26.06)
PEACE WITH THE LEBANESE THAT DO NOT SUPPORT THE ACTIONS OF TERRORISM.
17. Next Target: Commander Fuad Dirani
Ken ,   SA   (07.26.06)
When a sovereign state makes no attempt to enforce its rule, and knowingly permits an armed force to operate from it against another state, responsibility lies on it. The government of Lebanon holds responsibility, since for the last six years it has done nothing to maintain the UN 1559 resolution that obligates it to practice its sovereignty also over Hezbollah.
18. To #1 - CHADI, BEIRUT
Irish Guy 2112 ,   Tel-Aviv   (07.26.06)
Yes, #7 is correct: half of the Lebanese army is Shi'ite/Hizbolloh, so how/why tey would destroy Hizbollah is a mystery. But I pity you: your country is being held histage by a worse, more terroist-promoting/excusing entity: the UN. More than any other body (besides Hizbollah, of course), the deaths of innocent (I STRESS: non-Hizbollah-supporting Lebanese) is the moral responsibility on the shoulders of the UN. Ironically, your best friend in the Middle East is Israel. The UN will never solve your problems.
19. I thought it was Tel Aviv?
Mark ,   Usa   (07.26.06)
You kept telling the public that Tel Aviv was the next target.
20. Chadi, Thanks for your support
Mark ,   Usa   (07.26.06)
The media makes it seem that most of Lebanon loves Hizballah. It seems that all of Lebanon hates Israel by media reports.
21. Chadi
MARK ,   USA   (07.26.06)
The Lebanese army was going to attack Israel if ground troops went into Lebanon.
22. Just don't hit the IKEA!!!

23. TELAVIV NEXT
RAMALLAH ,   RAMALLAH   (07.26.06)
Yes, they are under the beds hiding from the hibuallah. Next target will be telaviv, and lod and all over the Zionist state. More than 30 soldiers got killed and more than 100 injured. Bent jbeel still fighting. IDF TOOK OVER THE TOWN WAS A BIG LIE
24. chadi & bros
oferdesade ,   israel   (07.26.06)
actually, Lebanon promised israel eternal peace and brotherhood at the 1932 trade fair in tel aviv. as the song goes: if it takes forever, we will wait 4 u. meantime, i suggest you change your IPP address, somehow... sympathizers in the arab world tend to get blown up.
25. #1 To Lebanon
Shalom - Salaam ,   Sweden   (07.26.06)
I feel sorry for your peaceloving people in Lebanon, the moderate people in the territories and also feel sorry for the whole people of Israel. There is one part who initiated this conflict and who can stop Hisbollah's bloody adventures and plans - Iran. Read this article in "Arab News" ' Lebanon: Saudis and the Old Arab World' http://www.arabnews.com/?page=7§ion=0&article=84399&d=26&m=7&y=2006 It's time for the world to confront Iranian attempt to foist a political Shiite strategy on the region. The Iranians have a vision of controlling 140 million Shiites in the region.
26. #4
Shani, Haifa   (07.26.06)
This is very manipulative, showing only one side of the battle's victims. I can show you horrible pictures of Israeli victims, and there are many. Innocent ones. This war has two sides. The fact is that the Hizbulla started the war by killing innocent people. Israel has no other way to protect its citizens. You expect us to sit quietly and wait to die, like the Hizbulla wants us to? we won't. I would keep writing but I must get into the shelter.. The "human" Hizbulla threw bombs all over.
27. #13 world opinion
Rustum ,   London, UK   (07.26.06)
Lilke many of your countrymen, you take refuge in emotion rather than fact. During WWII world opinion did not cost you 6 million souls - but rather the Nazi extermination machine. I believe that most people in the world had opinions which held that the holocaust was scandalous and unforgivable and inhumane. For you to turn that around and pretend that world opinion is in favour of genocide is simple paranoia. In fact, world opinion appears to be against genocidal bombing attacks - hence the fact that world opinion has this time come out in favour of stopping the Israeli attacks and stopping the destruction of Lebanon. That said and done, I should reiterate that world opinion generally seems to be against bloodshed and death on all sides. Israeli opinion, however, seems to be very much in favour of death and bloodshed. Thus, in fact, you should be thanking world opinion for attempting to recall the mad-dog Israeli generals who are getting their kicks out of destroying Lebanon. It is also a sanguine experience reading so many of the feedbacks from Israeli and Zionist supporters worldwide. If you want to get an impression of people who love the death of innocent civilians - simply read through any of the feedback trails on articles on YNET. It is an appalling indictment of Jewish supremacist thought, and the placing of the value of Jewish life so much above that of others, of the discounting of world opinion. In fact the total impression gained is of a rather sick and sad community which brooks no criticism, no dissent, no independent thought and which answers even the friendliest of criticism with the response "self-hater" or "anti-Semite". What Israel has managed to do is to reduce the Jewish community worldwide to a cringing, whinging, monotonous self-obsessed parochial community - how different from the glorious Jewish community of yore which welcomed diversity, creativity and free thought.

Chadi ,   Beirut, Lebanon   (07.26.06)
we will rebuild lebanon with 15 million emigrants in the States, Brazil and Australia, these are the true lebanese poeple that were driven away by the civil war in lebanon. everytime we have to pay the price on behalf of Syria. we tried to fight them we lost, we finaly managed to kick them out, and Syrian president swore that he will destroy lebanon if the syrian troops leave. He was right and lebanon was destroyer. dont worry, once this is over, we will rebuild again our beirut, it will get destroyed again but it doesnt matter anymore. we will have peace one day

the government of lebanon is responsible? if Hezbolah more powerful both in arms and money, how can it be responsible? since we kicked the Syria, USA has done nothing to hepl our government. so plz tell me how can a government that is weaker military than these lunatic suicidal hezbollah be responsible? Half of the lebanese army is not shiite Irish guy, 25% only. we had a christian militia in the past who was an ally to Israel, but both the States and Israel abandonet it for the sake of Syria. Ironicaly Israel is our best friend? why ironicaly, we already know this fact!! there is a say abt lebanese poeple, " we r not only perfect, we r lebanese too". did u know Lebanon was the Switzerland of the middle east in the late 70's?
