1. Southern Israelis..
Pat ,   Wisconsin, USA   (07.28.06)
Need to know that their Prime Minister is dealing with all problems. All matters are being dealt with through the leader G_D needs Israel to have. Trust Mr. Olmert to deal with both areas .
2. What NEXT??!! Israel is bombarded from north and south!
Proud Grandpa ,   www.KingArik.net   (07.28.06)
Olmert - GO! You are not delivering! Not security, not hope, not stability - nothing! Yor are dragging us to hell. Go study from Arik Sharon what it means to be a true leader, and then come back - You are a NOVICE: http://www.israel-chronicles.org
3. Take the terrorists who are most wanted released by the
Bunnie Meyer ,   Santa Monica, CA   (07.28.06)
ham-ass scum and secure them to tents in Sderot. They get lots of fresh air and are a deterent to terrorists shooting off rockets. Maybe they won't be so happy to shoot rockets knowing their buddies can be killed as easily as a child.
4. Israel aims at terrorists
Yuval   (07.28.06)
Terrorists aim at citizens.
5. #2 ProudGrandpa
Pat ,   Wisconsin, USA   (07.28.06)
I think Ariel Sharon would aprove if he were able.
6. #3
Joseph Agius ,   Malta   (07.28.06)
Good idea. But I think they bomb them anyway. They use children as humna shields. That says something about their morals.
7. I do not know why Qassam always land on schools???
(07.28.06)
I never heard it landed on something other than kinder gardens!! This is quite suspicious.
8. This kibbutz reaps what they sowed
Dani ,   Tel Aviv   (07.28.06)
They wanted the disengagement. We told them that this is what would happen. They got the disengagement. This is what happened. They should shut up already and stop whining. They got what they wanted. Enjoy your kassams.
9. 2 Little Kids hurt - what would the Arabs have done?
David ,   Karmiel   (07.28.06)
Here lies one of our problems. Our people get blown to bits, our kids hurt and killed and we see and or hear a news item. If it is a “serious matter” we might even interrupt “Hani’s Room”, or “Odetta”, or, heaven forbid, “Kochav Nolad!” The Arabs would have blown this up into a major media event calling it the "Zionist enemy's brutality against Palestinian Children". While I fully understand the policy of protecting our children, the injured and the dignity of our dead, it certainly plays into the hands of the terrorists and their sponsors. An excellent but horrible example of the extent to which the Arab propaganda will go happened just a few days ago. A pregnant women was killed in Tyre and masked "medical personnel" stood there waving the dead fetus in front of the CNN, BBC and Sky News TV cameras who, as always, obedient servants of their Arab investors, broadcast these images to the world. I am not saying that we must lower ourselves into this disgusting abyss but, in short, our propaganda stinks. Why is there no 24 hour a day multi-lingual TV News channel here? This should be Channel 33, broadcasting our point view to the world via satellite and cable TV, not showing kids programs when Israelis are being killed in war and terror attacks. For goodness Minister Livni, do something about our image. I would, however, like to complement and thank our government spokespersons, Mark Regev, Miri Eisen and the others who so valiantly put our case forward in the hostile world of the foreign press.
10. Bad Parenting
Dr. Spock   (07.28.06)
What is wrong with the parents? It is their fault that the children were injured. Why weren't those children in bomb shelters? isn't this the standard refrain given by israelis and their supporters when Palestinian kids are killed and injured by the IDF when it goes hunting for Palestinian fighters? Apparently, Israeli parents are as indifferent to their children's safety as some claim Palestinian parents are.
11. #8 Dani,Tel Aviv
Don Saliman ,   Nahal Oz, Israel   (07.28.06)
So the two children hurt, that is ok with you, because their parents supported the disengament. A good number of people on Kibbutz, were against the disengagment by the way Does that go for Hafia,Kirat Shmona, the whole Northern borders etc. You know some of those also were for disengragement and a lot of people in Tel Aviv supported it. I guess for you the ones who were for the disengaement are ok to be targeted. Dani,in case you forgot,we are all Israelis today.
12. #9
avi ,   ISRAEL   (07.28.06)
YOU AR SURPRISED THAT JUST 2 CHILDREN HAS HAVE BEEN HURT LIGHTLY THOUSAND OF PALSESTINIAN AND LEBANESE CHILDREN HAVE BEEN KILLED BY IDF AND AIF . DON'T BE MAD , IF WE KILLE THERE CHILDREN THEY WILL BE ABLE TO DO SAME AND THEY DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO SO AND MORE. BEST , AVI_SAFAD
13. ANOTHER AMBUH IN MARON ELRAS AND MASOUD HILL
YUSI ,   CARMAEL/ISRAEL   (07.28.06)
YES , THERE ARE DOZEN OF IDF KILLED IN THIS AMBUSH BATTLE AND HUNDREDS OF IDF ARE INJURED. BA CARE AND SAFE. A FEW OF IDF WILL TURN HOME AFTER THIS LOOSING BATTLE. BEST , MAZOZ/ISRAEL BENINO
14. Where Is The World's Outrage At This?
emanon ,   USA   (07.28.06)
Missles fall on an Israeli school and no one demands an end to Arab terrorisim. Israel defends itself and the world cries "Stop Israeli Terrorism".
15. #10 - Dr. Spock's stupid comparison
Maurice ,   Montrealsavmoy@video   (07.28.06)
Palestiniansparents send their children to throw stones to IDF and educate them to become suicide killers. The Israeli parents simply send their children to kindergarden or schools like every other normal parent (read again the article!). Your comparison shows where you are coming from!
16. Gaza and Qassams
Sam   (07.28.06)
One has to wonder whether the current war in Lebanon would have started if Israel had responded like the Russians did in Chechniya or the US did in Afganastan, by simply obliterating any city with bombs from which rockets origniated. The world is starting to pull back from support for Israel anyhow. Shouldnt Israel simply obliterate from the air any city or town from which rockets are fired?
17. The world knows no worse....
John ,   Houston, Texas   (07.28.06)
To intentionally attempt to kill children shows the moral depravity of the muslim fanatic. To do so in the name of their "god" only convinces me that their "god" has horns and cloven feet, and lives down low where the temperature is always toasty. I suspect that every "martyr" will spend eternity in hell where they belong.
18. to 8
(07.28.06)
SHAME ON YOU, YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO ALL!!!
19. Tsahal efficient ?
David ,   Paris, France   (07.28.06)
I don't understand, why you left gaza or lebanon. It's the same thing. Tons of rockets. I'm afraid for you, it's isn't a life to live with threats all day long. How can tsahal can protect you without establish a large security zone ?
20. to # 7
Leonie ,   Ashkelon   (07.28.06)
Israel doesn't lie to win brownie points like our enemies do. The hundreds of rockets that fall in southern and northern Israel but don't hit a school or other building simply aren't reported. Same as the suicide homicidal bombers apprehended just in time by our security forces when the terrorist is wearing the explosives belt - if nobody was hurt, it doesn't make the news.
21. #11- We ARE all Israelis
Meira Marks ,   Haifa, Israel   (07.28.06)
Hi, Don. I am writing this from my "safe" room in Haifa. I was very much AGAINST the expulsion and participated in many demonstrations against what I believed was an ill-conceived plan that our enemies would view as a weakness on our part and a victory on theirs. But, you are VERY CORRECT, Don - We ARE all Israelis. BE SAFE Meira Marks Haifa, Israel
22. reply
George van der Merwe ,   Cape Town, South Afr   (07.28.06)
A fundamental problem with your solution is the divergent aulues for innocent life displated by the Arabs and the West. Isreal is making a concerted effort to minimise civilian casualties - Hisbollah is firing randomly into civilian areas - Note also the concerted effort by Hisbollah to locate their military locations in the midst of civilian areas in order to hamper Isrealli retalition. Hisbollah has ABSOLUTELY no regard for civilian lives, even those of their own people
23. #21 Meria Marks
Don Saliman ,   Nahal Oz, Israel   (07.28.06)
We have had even before the pullout,Kassams fall at my kibbutz,in fact we were the first to be on TV because we were getting hit. People even near us were afraid of coming to the Kibbutz, then Sedort, Ashkelon, and now all you Israelis up North, the pullout now I admitted was a mistake, because of our Govermnent did not do anything about the attacks, and now look where we are all at. You keep safe and keep the faith
24. Stop whining - you asked for it, you got it.
Jay ,   Los Angeles   (07.28.06)
Olmert did not declare himself Prime Mininster, so athough Olmert's Folly is named in his dishonor, all of Israel deserves the blame for it.
25. Is Ashdod next?
Mark ,   USA   (07.28.06)
The rockets are having a much longer range.
26. Qassam Defence
rickmd ,   Baltimore USA   (07.28.06)
Chain link fencing (Heavy Gauge). COver roof and three sides. Needs strong poles to support it. Breaks up the warhead before is explodes and reduces blast.
27. Gaza/Lebanon & ISRAEL
sharon kelso ,   St.Petersburg,U..S.A   (07.28.06)
I wish I could help!!! I'm to old but I do keep you in my prayers, all the time.May the blessings of G-D be with you .Baruch HaShem Adonai sharon
28. I BLAME SHARON!!
KACH 613 ,   MEDENAT YEHAUDA!!!   (07.28.06)
This is all because of the expoltion that Sharon implemented last year!!! We can also blame him for what is going on up north because he made a swap with Hezbala he gave a prize to the michablem!!!!
29. #14
Gay Griffith ,   Niskayuna, NY, USA   (07.28.06)
To #14 Why are you so surprized? That's the way it always has been, always is, always will be. The world hates the Jews and uses a double standard for Jews. I think they should get the names of all the terrorists they want back and like was already suggested, have them live outside in tents of all the targeted cities. Either they will keep shelling, as they have no regards for life at all, and kill them or it will stop the shelling. Either way it is a win/win situation!
30. Terrorists target children
Ana ,   Spain   (07.28.06)
The pal terrorists launch rockets at civilians, even children. I believe the residents of the area are right and the IDF should be harsher on that front. After all, the pals have been warned for several months. I wish a speedy recovery to the injured children and that nobody else gets hurt.
