Your posting is another example of repeating a lie even though it has been disproved. The family that died on the Gaza beach were not struck by Israeli fire. That has been proven. Why parents would allow their family to be on a beach during hostilities in the area shows how stupid and depraved the Palestinians are. Now the so-called "Security Cabinet" turned down the recommendations of the IDF. Gee, a cabinet composed of mainly non-military types such as the defense minister who was a labor leader, the Prime Minister with no real military background think that they know more than the IDF. This is like the American military being overruled by Rumsfeld over the need for more troops to pacify and occupy Iraq and we all know what the result was. With a friendly American adminstration, Israel finally had the chance to devastate Hezbollah and Hamas. However, to defeat a well-entrenched guerilla army, Israel needed to respond with overwhelming force. Instead, they sent small squads of commandoes to be ambushed and slaughtered and even then, refused to listen to the IDF. What was needed was a force of at least 2 or three divisions with heavy air and armor support to smash through Hezbollah defenses , encircle them and wipe them out by a combination of carpet bombing and ground assault. Now time is running out and soon Israel will be forced to accept a cease fire with Hezbollah intact and a danger to Israel.

I will not compare figures with you,but as sad as it is,Israel does not deliberately target children & yes it horrible for us also to see children dead on both sides. Wars are not pretty and many innocent children get killed. While Israel does not go after children, terrorists have killed more than 100 children,while looking at them before they blow themselves up and killing themselves & murdering these children. One even before he murdered the father in cold blood,the father was made to watch his daughter head bashed in on a rock,with a rifle butt. No child has to suffer this,whether deliberate or not.
