31. Hizzbalah already cauzed destruction to Lebaon
LOLI ,   Spain   (07.29.06)
which means Hizbalah and Lebanon already lost.
32. Keep going IDF!
Daniel ,   Israel   (07.29.06)
IDF has already destroyed much of Hezballah's infrastructure and has during the past 2 weeks killed at least 200 terrorists. Everytime someone says that Israel can't do something it is a sign that Israel is doing something right.
33. The UN
rich ,   Manhattan   (07.29.06)
Every conflict on the planet makes the UN grow larger. They don't care about Peace - they care about their ever increasing salaries and ship loads of money that pour in at every crisis. This is a corporation - filled with corruption and filth. The cute little programs they have to feed and cloth the ravaged is less than 1% of what money it has. Come see the clubs, restaurants, gift shops of the East Side of Manhattan filled with these UN folks - These pigs love war, death, money, and their personal status.
34. To 10 the minger
Da dude   (07.29.06)
You're not very clever The fact was that the IDF was very successful. The fact was that it was more from internal politics than anything that lead to the withdrawal. Another problem is that victory for Hizb'allah and Israel are two different things. Hizb'allah 'wins' as long a few members survive and hide in a rat hole long enough. Israel 'wins' when it destroys Hizb'allah. While these standards of victory are far from equivilant. I would not stand proud and talked about how you 'survived' the IDF. It's really not that much of accomplishment. So you realised you couldn't fight Israel and so then you dress up like a woman and hide inbetween civilians, thats definitely my type of 'victory'. Another fact is that any peace offering is viewed as 'defeat'. Regardless of the fact that Israel did it willingly. As Abba Eban once said "I think that this is the first war in history that on the morrow the victors sued for peace and the vanquished called for unconditional surrender." Losing is victory, war is peace, hate is love. This is the mind of Hizb'allah the arab world, and you minger yobo. I'm glad I live in reality Anyways I must ask why aren't you out attacking John Howard?
35. #25 People like you.........
joe ,   Lebanon   (07.29.06)
People like you will destroy Israel and not Hezbullah. If you let Hezbullah survive another 6 years, not Katyousha by NUCLEAR bombs will be falling on Haifa. Stop being so coward and support you Army and Country instead of acting like a chiken.
36. #25
Oleg ,   USA   (07.29.06)
If you a really proud Grandpa you, at least, should hear about how the whole world negotiated with Hitler before WWII and what happened after all of those negotiatins. Stop seeking useless solutions. There is nobody to negotiate with on a part of Hiz. Their desire and purpose is to kill you and your grandkids. They have to be eliminated all together. If you leave them now alive they will come after you later and this will cost you more lives. Defeating them will have a a double impact on Iran who is desperatly looking for nuclear weapon. Guess who is first in line to get their nukes? Don't be stupid with your liberal ideas that never work in our world. The best enemy is dead enemy. As far as French army abilities and their skill -- they showed what they could during, again, WWII. By the way -- I do not remember exactly who, but one very famous French person said, that Generals are colonels who became completely crazy. Allan Pellegrini fits perfectly under this statement.
37. UN: WAAAAH! WAAAAH! ISRAEL IS FIGHTING BACK ! NO FAIR !
D- ,   San Diego, USA   (07.29.06)
38. I wonder
Sharon ,   Haifa, Israel   (07.29.06)
1. What this guy and his buddies tell Hizbollah, if he is telling us the above. Since we don't usually get reports of Hizbollah's communications - and the information the world has received so far as been significantly different from Morczynski's report - it stands to reason some manipulation (a.k.a. psychological warfare) is occurring. 2. If the manipulation is one-sided and the "fundamentally" neutral UNIFIL is committing some sort of espionage against Israel - in addition to being human shields for Hizbollah - whether there is more to the UN members having been supposedly "targeted"
39. #33 - Absolutely. Classic pattern in all professions.
Sharon ,   Haifa, Israel   (07.29.06)
Individuals making up the current leadership cartel no doubt learned from the "mistakes" of its predecessor - which truly was neutral - and have learned to survive no matter what, even if it means deviating from the charter, taking bribes (ideologically or otherwise). But they are not alone - you don't need to look far to see that the most unethical lawyers, CEOs, etc. are the most wealthy. Even the majority of day-to-day employees who rise up through the ranks do so by letting go of ideals and integrity.
40. The way to Peace...
Kareem ,   Egypt   (07.29.06)
There's no way to Peace with Israel..nobody in the region wants peace with Israel..what Israel is doing now is not and will not help the situation..because you are killing the Hezbollah Militants..and NOT the Arab mentality...as long as Israel exists..there will always be enemies of Israel..and Israel will never live in peace..so don't use too much of ur forces on Lebanon..wait for Iran, wait for Egypt, wait for Saudi..coz one day they will unite..and their one common enemy (Israel) will vanish..thats when you'll need your forces.. Don't expect peace..coz you won't get it..don't expect love either..coz you haven't done nething to deserve it
41. annan continues to take kickbacks from islamofascists

42. Morczynski said
Andy ,   US   (07.29.06)
If the UN has this kind of information gathering capability AND a resolution calling for the Lebanese military to supplant Hezbollah, what have they been doing all this time? Look at the history of the UN… 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973… Consistently against Israel & in favor of Israel’s enemies. UN: Utterly Nept
43. #40 You will never unite
Haifa, Israel   (07.29.06)
You can't keep your hands off one another's throats
44. un observers
jj ,   montreal canada   (07.29.06)
The UN oservers were doing their job very well. They got payed by the terrorist to observe Israels positions and report them to hezes. If not they would be killed. The Jews and Isrealies are the canaries of the world. What happens to them will son be global.

ground force to the southern edges of the town." Now how will Israel spin that one into a Victory? "26 Hizbullah fighters killed and 6 IDF soldiers wounded". I love War Propaganda" it's so blatant.
47. Don't insult your own country!
Shai ,   T-A   (07.29.06)
Francois, the dignity of every human being is to defend our country. Right or wrong, it is our country! Lack of gratitude is the worst feeling!
48. RE: UN - lebanese blood is worth more than israeli blood?
justin ,   USA   (07.29.06)
nevermind that lebanese civilians have died in exponentially larger numbers than the israeli populace. minor point, right. israel needs to stop acting like a bratty punk kid.

Seth Coomson ,   Accra, Ghana   (07.29.06)
If the goal is the reign of ISLAM from Spain to Iraq, how do you negotiate? When war is foisted on you by such minds, they can only understand when they are beaten in their game. The battle however is not for the strong nor the race for the swift but there is a God who reigns in the affairs of men. He will decide the outcome.
50. Morzynski's folly
(07.29.06)
"They have thousands of them [rockets] They are scattered everywhere - in caves, houses, bushes, abandoned buildings. Hey Mr. Morczynski, you forgot to mention the rockets hidden in mosques, schools, hospitals and people's garages. Hezbollah's scruples are so exemplary, aren't they? ---NOT! If they really cared about the Lebanese people, they wouldn't put them in the line of fire and then complain when they become casualties of war. But that is all part of Nasrallah's demented game-plan, n'est-ce pas? And if you don't believe me, just remember where the American soldiers in Iraq found all the insurgents' munitions hiding (in mosques!) when they entered Fallujah! Time to connect the dots and admit with what cynical consistancy the fanatical Muslims are waging their jihad against everyone in the free world!
51. Ehud! Why are you so impatient?
Siegel ,   Karmiel, Israel   (07.29.06)
Battles aren't won in a day. What are you so afraid of? You are hiding in Japan! You have no credibility! Go away! We are all laughing at you!
52. Patience...
Andrew ,   Halifax, Canada   (07.29.06)
Why is it the world expects Israel to restrict itself to conventional warfare when conducting military operations in response to terrorist activity? Isn't the simplist objective of terrorism the very unconventionality of its warfare and the terror that possibility generates? The response should be expected to be unconventional as well. Civilian losses were a certainty given the entrenchment of Hizbullah in southern Lebanon. No reasonable Lebanese citizen could have been surprised with the eventual move by Hizbullah. Enablers pay a price in relationships as well. The U.N. should be ashamed not to have been more vocal in warning the Lebanese people of the great risk they accepted in permitting this organization to prosper. The clean up of the nest of vipers in Southern Lebanon should be expected to take a great deal of time.

Ricky Bobby ,   Taledaga, GA   (07.29.06)
Ya'll need some NASCAR racing over their. Hell we could all sit around over here and kill each other too. But not when there is racin' on the tube! Ya'll could have like the Yom Kipper 500 and the Muhamed 500 races. You could have two legues like we do too, the Kosher league and the Sharia League. Or something like that. PEACE THROUGH SUPERIOR RACING! YEE HA!
54. UNIFIL, a bad investment
Connie ,   USA   (07.29.06)
I just got done reading online at the fox news site. They have an article there about UNIFIL. The title goes 'Fool me once... It brings up the question"'why should the UN be trusted to go as a peacekeeper when the U.S. has paid 100million a year to the United Nations Interim Force' to rebuild and democracize Lebanon and they fouled things up to begin with? We sure didn't get our money's worth Not even close.

What's bratty and punky about defending your country? Show me one country that would stand and accept rockets fired into it from across its border. Where do you live, on Mars?
56. unifil purpose?

57. The truth is Hizbulla can win even if they
John ,   NZ   (07.30.06)
din kill any Israeli soldier. All they do is to ride out the storm and re-group once Israel pull out of Lebanon. And unlike Israel, time is on Hizbolla side. Israel is still too soft. They should target high ranking Hizbollah officials rather than foot soldiers.
58. Ricky Bobby says...
Ricky Bobby ,   Taledega, USA   (07.30.06)
When someone is keeping you from enoying life and watching NASCAR, NUKE THEM TILL THEY GLOW! This Hizbullah bunch of varmits want to die anyway, send them some nukes. Thatta way they get their virgins, and ya'll get some peace and sleep at night. Then you can concentrate on NASCAR. Get it?

Dude, just send the SLA back in once you have finished disarming much of Hizbollocks. Provide whatever arms are necessary to form a provisional Lebanese Maronite force, which will be capable of disarming a weakened militia.
