This otherwise true article misses the basic point: That the foundation on which all Islamic ambitions stand, the Quran and Islam as a "religion", are completely false, and created exactly in order to unite Arabs against the rest of the world. Personally I am fortunate to have become almost fluent in English, and to have access to the Internet. All it took for me was to learn the dates and parallel historical events that took place during the life of "prophet" Mohhamad and after, the creation of the Quran. Of course, I had to read much of the Old Testament too, to see how the Quran was mostly plagiarized and paraphrased from the OT, and presented as a "religion" to uneducated, naive Arabs. The educated Arabs will never admit that the Islamic "religion" is a fabrication, a tool that keeps Arabs united, because it serves their goals. Israel can and should start publicizing all the reasons why the Quran is false, all the parts it "borrowed" from the OT, as well as the conquering Arab wars that accompanied its creation. Arabs were pagan until the Quran, which was only created about 1400 years ago. Yet the OT or Torrah existed a few thousand years before-Jesus was quoting from it 600 years before the Quran's creation. Jerusalem had no Islamic monument until about 1400 years ago and only got one when it was conquered by an Arab. In short, Mohammad obviously saw the usefulness of a Monotheistic religion (how it united many countries) and how it kept the Jews united, and set about to duplicate what worked, but with an Arab flavor to it. Israel would do well to undertake a campaign to expose the truth about Islam and the Quran to the Arabs, in publications that are read by Arabs.

In the 1930's, Hitler also promised the Europeans that he would get rid of the Jews for them, and they were all too happy to help, particularly the French the Poles. I especially agree with what the professor said about the massive inferiority complex in the Muslim world. They blame every problem they have on Israel and America. You may recall the sun and the wind had a bet to see who could get the man to take off his coat first. So...the wind blew and huffed, but the man clung to his coat tighter and tighter. Then the sun came out, and spread warm beams of light on the man, till he was warm, and the man took off his coat, willingly. Israel must be like the sun...it must create the conditions that will allow the Arabs to evolve. The best hope for the entire region was a peaceful and prosperous 'Palestinian' state along side Israel. A semi secular vibrant successful Palestinian state would have set the Arab mid east on fire with a desire for justice and equality. If Lebanon and Palestine were now successful states, Israel would have it's long term security, and the Arab world would now be evolving into the examples of successful states such as what Palestine and Lebanon could have been. Unfortunately, sinister forces have prevailed on all sides, defeating this peace and Israel has taken the bait, and ensured a longer deeper conflict. However, it does now clear the way for a global imposed peace, upon which all sides should strive to endure. The solution is of course what was mandated in The Balfour Declaration in 1917, and what the UN mandated in 1948. This was a two state solution that would address the needs of global Jewish issues after WW2 and the 'Palestinian' Arab issue at the end of the Turkish-British mandate. A return to that two state plan is the only viable option that will have any traction for an enduring peace, since it is sown into the fabric of history. Nothing succeeds like success, so make a success out of Palestine, and you will see a positive revolution in the Arab/Muslim world. Just try it......
