31. Stacie #6 here's the truth you don't want
Larry ,   Eastbourne, UK   (07.31.06)
Firstly, Hizbullah fired a large number of rockets into Israel as a diversionary tactic whilst conducting the kidnapping operation. Secondly, the most fundamental point of the whole war - although this is barely mentioned even in the Israeli media, let alone elsewhere - is that Hizbullah (supported of course by Syria and Iran) had planned this war for years. That is why they built up a huge terror infrastructure in Lebanon and stockpiled vast numbers of rockets, missiles and other armaments. Thirdly, Lebanon has not been destroyed. Only Hizbullah strongholds and infrastructure which supports the terror group have been targeted by the IDF. There is far greater devastation of civilian areas in Israel than in Lebanon.
32. Good to finally hear from you, Bibi.

You should have been noisier, sooner.

Stacie of Canada, why would a terrorist group have thousands of rockets hidden throughout Lebanon? Lebanon is home to Iranian backed terrorist. They need to be eliminated. Lebanon never asked the international community to help rid them of the parasite know as Hezballah; now the Israelis need to do it. You mention the bombing done by Israel. Why are they laser guided? Why did Israel warn civilians? Israel is attempting to the job Lebanon refused to do. Israel's bombs are aimed at terrorists; Hezballah's rockets are filled with ball berings designed to maim humans. They are purposely trying to kill people because they know Israel cherished life; they on the other hand cherish death. Stacie, what do you cherish? Does Canada allow its citizens to stockpile thousands of rockets aimed at the US?

Following a story on Ynet I read the Wikipedia entry for Operation Entebbe. If what has been done to Lebanon is put in contrast to the Entebbe crisis, Israel would of nuked Uganda. This two soldier kidnapping was a job for negotiators or the Mossad perhaps. If any other juvenile (now delinquent) country such as Israel would of initiated this kind of destruction upon another sovereign State, an immediate arms embargo would of been filed. Instead we read about the US sending more bombs and that what can now be referred to as a rogue State (Israel) has an arsenal of nuclear weapons. This is outrageous. Do not assume the World and its media see things through your ultra biased lense only. Here's what the Wikipedia entry for Hezbollah also says: Hezbollah provides many social services in Lebanon. According to CNN:"Hezbollah did everything that a government should do, from collecting the garbage to running hospitals and repairing schools." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hezbollah Israel has a problem with Hezbollah? Get your men on the ground and weed them out. Bombing the country's civilians and their infrastructures with remote controlled missiles is nothing short of cowardly State terrorism.

You better get your facts right.... 1. Israel/US doesn't accept the democratically elected govt. of Palestine- Hamas and incite fights bewteen Hamas and Fataah party ( Doesn't US proclaim itself as the saviour of democracy , then why does it back-out) 2. Israel launches attacks in Gaza killing innocent people, bombing families in beaches who come for enjoying holidays ( What would you do if there is a bomb explosion in Miami killing people saying they are terrorists). 3. Israel soldiers go into Gaza , kidnap and kill people saying that they are terrorists and jail them without any proof. 4. Build a wall in Jerusalem taking away the fertile land of Palestines and treating them inhumanable conditions and re-visiting apartehid days. For all this, when Hamas/Hizbollah thwart the plots of IDF to attack them by capturing soldiers and killing some in fight, Israel cries fould and starts to bombard innocent civillians like madmen...Who's crying foul? If this is the attitude of the US and it's allies, God help us all !!!

Reason escapes arab thought for some reason. Not all, but most of those abiding just 60 miles north of my home in Ohio would love to see Israel neutralized, and that is putting it nicely
37. Bibi has to run the show otherwise..
AbuFass ,   E Jer   (07.31.06)
If Israel does not wipe out Hizbulla, this may be the end of Israel. Hizbulla will prevail in the region & next round will use nonconventional weapons. Also will overrun the Arab world from Tahran. Bibi has to do it rather than the current weak gov. Pal from E Jer!!
38. The lens I see things through.
Jorge Banner ,   BsAs,Argentina   (07.31.06)
Stacie, Canada, # 34,: may you and your family be bombed by the “social service providing” Hezbollah. Then, you can talk. By the way, since Hezbollah is “collecting the garbage”, what out they don’t collect you. Every decent person in the world is on the side of Israel as they are on the side of Taiwan and South Korea and on the side of America because freedom lovers everywhere share the same values. Those same values you don’t share. Your “service providers” are the ones that danced on the streets to celebrate the World Trade Center collapse. The only good Hezbollahean is the dead one. And any living one is just one that has not yet been made good.
39. (Ynet: FINISH WITH the antisemite "Schulz, Berlin"!)
gerd schulz ,   germany   (07.31.06)
28. Netanyjahu said: "The journey of war is like any other journey. It starts easily but midway there's a difficult junction where we must decide whether we continue to climb the mountain or stop, and I call on the government: Don't stop midway. Complete the job." Turning to Arab MKs who earlier referred to the Qana air raid, Netanyahu said: "When missiles were falling, when an (Israeli) grandmother and her granddaughter were murdered, I didn't hear you…" It is easy to understand this. Your comment reminds me of Barbera Walters praising Fidel Castro for his so called social programs he supposedly has for Cuba. So what if they did some "good things, they are still evil people who need to be wiped out.
41. Sorry Connie and Jorge Banner while we're at it
Stacie ,   Canada   (07.31.06)
Your comment reminds me of a book entitled "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them", you obviously did not read my comment. The Hezbollah social programs bit was quoted from Wikipedia. I on the other hand ended my comment with: "Israel has a problem with Hezbollah? Get your men on the ground and weed them out. Bombing the country's civilians and their infrastructures with remote controlled missiles is nothing short of cowardly State terrorism."

Well first of all , answer to your question , i cant tell , coz i think Egypt is part of this, and by Egypt i say president and government , in the last cpl of years , 5 egyptian soldiers were killed on the boarders by israel , i didnt see any reaction , they were too happy to be apologized to , another point , u hav the shebaa farms which is lebanese land , and you have lebanese people in your prisons , a simple swap , u started this war for other goals but its gonna end up the other way , trust my words , lebanon will be victorious , because people arent terrorised by ur F16s and ur shells , they have will and dignity .
