Yes, Israelis of Ethiopian do suffer from a bias inherent in our society, regardless of the background. The government has actively attacked it and it is falling quickly. As for the acclimation of our brothers from Ethipia, just look at the pictures of our soldiers and those in civilian life and you will see how our fellow Jews have successfully immersed themselves----And we are grateful they are here with us!

Racial slurs are not, of course, limited to the Arab countries, Israel or Europe. They are world wide and sometimes include people who don't look much different than the ones throwing the insults. The US continues to deal with discrimination toward it's black citizens. What I resent is the insults are intentional not just ignorance. Ms. Rice has not always been my choice for Sec. of State. However, she is an intelligent, talented woman who has through her own efforts and abilities has a challenging and eventful career, not easy for a woman in the US and especially a black woman. She is the Secretary of State of a very powerful country and deserves more respect than these third rate newspapers and media have shown. I would not do this to my neighbor, the ambassadors of these countries and certainly not Ms. Rice even when I disagreed with her. I have to believe that these cheap shots are due to desperation.
