Somewhat true...but the Paletinian people were destroyed many centuries ago...read your history. The name Palestinian has only been adopted by the people of the region in the Last Century alone to use it as a propaganda tool and a mean to try and show that they belong there as well. The arabs in the region were only there for the jobs created by the Jewish people. Mark Twain himself admitted this in his visit to Jerusalem in the late 1800's.......he noted: "This land is desolate of people outside the gates".......so see.....the Palestinian people were not there........ie..the ones who were there were just nomads.

Khalid, I have a "junior-high-school-type" Rand-McNally atlas that I got for my bar-mitzvah in 1963. When I look at the page for Israel and Jordan, in the part that used to be western Jordan, you can clearly see the upper and lower regions labeled "Samaria" and "Judea", respectively. These are the English equivalent for historic names for these 2 areas, Shomron and Yedhua. Samaria and Judea are names that are quite ancient - when Josephus (writing at the time of the Roman Emperor Vespasian) mentioned Judea, it was by then quite an old usage. The same is true for Samaria. Despite the fact that the Roman Emperor Hadrian renamed the area "Syria Palestina" in 135 CE, the names Samaria and Judea remained in constant use throughout the Byzentine, Muslim Arab, Crusader, and Ottoman conquests of the region. Under the British Mandate, the names Samaria and Judea also remained in use. U.N. Resolution 181, The 1947 Partition Plan, explicitly refers to these areas as Judea and Samaria.
