On what proof can any of us rely? We must sift the propaganda for a semblance of fact. We have not "seen" the supposedly mainly-civilian casualties in Lebanon. What we have SEEN is reports none of us can yet verify. The Israelis, not known for overstatement in this respect, say they have killed upwards of 400 Hiz'Bolla. Under the circumstances this is, I suggest, more credible than the mere 2 dozen or so the Lebanese leaders claim, and if accurate, makes the oft-repeated media comments that the 'vast majority' of casualties are civilian into something akin to fiction. Would that journalists cared for accuracy. What the media industry relish, what they feed upon, are conflict and sensationalism.

habibi, wake up and smell the hummus...do you really think lebanon is winning this war...? look at lebanon: the bridges, the economy, the destroyed buildings throughout lebanon, the humanitarian crisis, the airport, people fleeing their homes, hizbullah losing half their inventory of missiles, israeli troops about to take over the entire south of lebanon, bodies of hizbullah fighters brought back to israel, an incredible comando raid 80km inside of lebanon at the heart of hizbullah kidnapping hizbullah fighters..... are you sure israel is losing? How come it is lebanon and hizbullah begging for a ceasefire and not israel???? Winners don't beg for cease fires genious. In the end, lebanon will have to bargain for the withdrawl of israeli troops from its territory....and next time they will think twice about starting a war.

I would just like to say this about everyone out there who things Israel, is United, Unprepared, or Undetermined to see this one through. I have recently (monday afternoon) returned from Israel where i spent 5 weeks and watched the current situation unfold (i was in the north 2 days before missles started to fall). While some may voice displesure at what they feel the motives are, all Israelis are tired of the missles falling, and are prepared to go all the way to ensure that the northern border/settlesments are safe. when the first wave of reservists were called up about 2 weeks ago 200% of those needed showed up for duty. Contrary to what people think, Israel is in this one for the long haul, they are prepared to sling it out, and are also prepared as we have seen to loose soldiers to ensure future saftey of thier borders.

the IDF and for the third week has been repeating along with the governement that (we wil control the security zone by tomorrow )but their supporters are not noticing that everyday there is tomoroow and every week there is thursday,so lets find out if this thursday they will be able to do it.....i think it is as far as my feet from they neck

The majority of civilian casualties are blown out of proportion by the fact that Hizbollah fighters do not wear uniforms, and rarely are found dead with their weapons (which are taken by their freinds). How exactly does one tell one dead leb from another? Kill em all, let god sort it out.
